Update to previous review: Removing one star due to not-so-great service for the last two times…read moreI've visited. The last time I was there, the gal working upfront at the register, seemed really mad for some reason. She scoffed or huffed and rolled her eyes when I would ask for something or ask a question. It just really seemed like she didn't want to be there. This most recent time, I was only given the shampoo and not the conditioner for the self wash that I ordered. Once I started the wash, I realized that one was missing, but couldn't very well leave my wet dog to go ask. I also thought they might've stopped offering conditioner and maybe they just only had shampoo...When I mentioned it at the front desk, there was no apology or offer of a small discount. Instead, the person at the front said "well, if you would have told us, we probably would've given it to you." Not a huge deal, but it just bugged me the way she spoke to me.

It's not my nature to be disgruntled nor to give low Yelp ratings. However, the last 2 times I took…read moremy multipoo to Pet's Earth, once to Papillion and this time to Bennington, I've had a less than satisfactory experience. Both times I expressed my dissatisfaction after the groom and asked for assistance in fixing the problem. The time at Papillion they offered to groom him at a later date at no cost. I was not able to make it in due to a family move. Next, I took him to the Bennington location and, again, he came out looking like a first day groomer had groomed him. I took him back in today, a week later. The groomer was obviously not happy about having to fix him and said, she didn't have time to bathe him, (that I should have told them I wanted that!) what's more, she didn't really know what more she could do for him. When I asked if she really thought this looked like a dog who had just been groomed a week ago, she defiantly said yes. I was incredulous and tried explaining he was all choppy, he didn't even look like he'd been bathed the last time, nor had his ears been brushed out. The manager tried to be an intermediary, but ultimately took the groomer's side. At which point, I just shook my head and said I'm done and left. I have 4 standard poodles and a multipoo. I think a more courteous congenial attitude toward fixing the problem was in order before losing over $500 every 6 weeks to groom my crew! I was calm, explained what was wrong, and did not get angry. But I was frustrated and stupefied why they couldn't just shape him up and make him look fresh and well groomed. Below are photos from the Papillion location and the Bennington plus a photo of Bijou after a proper grooming. I love supporting small, local businesses. But I can't return here in good faith.

LOST MY BUSINESS. Cottonwood changed its daycare policy on August 15 to no longer let dog owners…read morereserve dog playtime ("daycare") for overnight boarded dogs (previously was 4 hours complimentary as a "social guest"). I booked my dog on July 23 for this program. I drop her off for Labor Day weekend and boom, my poor dog is not allowed to have any playtime because it's "full" (was there at 8 am...) and is now first come, first serve DESPITE ME BOOKING IT FOR HER before the policy change. I received no phone call about the change, the website hasn't been updated, nothing. This place is counting on you to just accept that you will now have to pay them more to exercise your dog or even to just allow them out of their kennel ON TOP of already paying $53 a night as the CHEAPEST OPTION. Don't do it guys. If you're going to pay for a "pet resort" to lock up your dog all day unless you pay more on top for a "nature hike", there are much cheaper places around Omaha. Don't get scammed by these greedy owners. If it's a volume issue, limit reservations or hire more staff. At a bare minimum, CALL YOUR CLIENTS about any major changes. Greed greed greed. I'm finding a new place.

We have used Cottonwood for years and been happy in the past, however, recently boarded our puppy…read moreand were disappointed with the communication. While we were gone, we noticed our puppy was not out in the yard and called, and were told if daycare is too full that dogs are rotated for the free "included" time out, so she was not going out that day. I ended up paying extra mid-trip to guarantee her spots so she could go out daily in addition to the extra walks I had already added. I called prior to dropping her off and discussed on check in and was not told that this was the policy and was told she would be out half day on the days that I didn't pay extra for full day. When I picked her up, I asked for a discussion with the manager and was told I would be called. This didn't happen and I called to speak with manager and was very disappointed with the rudeness and poor professionalism that was displayed. We have had such great experiences in the past 4 years that we have used Cottonwood and will not be going back after this experience. It seems they are taking in more dogs than they have staff to handle, so the boarding/daycare isn't as it once was. Very disappointed.

There are other groomers on the area I'm quite sure that are professional...just not this place....my advice is think twice before you consider any grooming, any daycare or overnight care here... I would not even bring a toy stuffed animal here.

Maybe this is normal for daycares and boarding, but he smells like dog urine when I pick him up. I feel like I need to give him a bath when I come home. 2. The last time I brought him there he developed a respiratory infection after his return. I feel better leaving him home alone rather than here for the reasons above.
