He's both analytical and methodical. He took his time to evaluate the situation, clearly communicate the work needed, and identify any potential issues. After work began, Patrick found two large roots growing in the drains that clearly needed to be addressed. He and his crew opened the concrete, replaced pipes, and even added new drains to help with the upcoming rain. He knew I was on a tight budget and found creative solutions to keep costs to a minimum. Being a woman with next to zero knowledge of plumbing, I could have been an easy target. I'm grateful for Patrick's honesty, kindness, and patience, even as I picked his brain on other trouble areas of my parents' home and my own home, with no promise of additional work. I never felt rushed to make a decision or given false promises. I even came out of this whole experience with a better understanding and appreciation for plumbing! Free Flo Rooters, please expand your service area to Culver City just so I can hire Patrick again!

Updating my original review years later because we ended up needing Mick again today for another…read moreplumbing issue at one of our family properties. We had a sewer backup issue affecting the back unit/ADU while also dealing with separate toilet issues in the front house. Mick responded quickly, diagnosed both problems efficiently, and got everything resolved the same day. The front house issue turned out to be worn toilet flappers from normal wear and tear. The back unit issue was a main line grease buildup/clog that required drain clearing and camera inspection work. Mick also took the time to explain the likely long-term slope/drainage concern with the ADU connection in a very straightforward and practical way. One thing I still appreciate after all these years is that Mick communicates like an operator, not a salesman. He explains what is urgent, what is manageable, and what may become a future capital repair issue without trying to create panic or pressure. Fast response, direct communication, practical diagnostics, and strong long-term knowledge of older LA plumbing systems and rental properties. Still highly recommend Mick and Right Price Rooter & Plumbing.

Drywall was opened, patched, and painted to match. They installed an earthquake shut-off valve, pulled permits, and handled inspections without any issues. What really stood out was the honesty, communication, and professionalism--from the initial phone call to the final walkthrough. Everything was clearly explained, and the team was responsive the entire time. Mick is clearly passionate about his company and it shows in the quality of work and customer care. My toilet, however, thought otherwise. CUT TO: Me trying every imaginable home remedy, pouring vinegar and baking soda and dish soap into the bowl...and the water level getting progressively higher, the water more and more murky. Time for a professional. But my normal dude had gotten out of the business. Mild panic ensued. I decided to lean on the network. I reached out to Dmitriy of Priority Appliance Repair, and he referred me to Kassman, where I reached Margo. Margo was clear, communicative (via text and voice), obviously very concerned with providing excellent service, and easily dealt with some unexpected obstacles in scheduling. She estimated that her plumber would arrive between 1 and 3. Harry got to my place around 1:45. Harry was just the kind of person you need in a crisis like this: calm, focused, and very very very good at what he does. Watching him auger the toilet felt like some sort of delicate, precise medical procedure. There is an art to knowing how to auger a toilet, and Harry is a master. 'Did she put the whole chicken down there?,' he asked, jokingly. Twenty-two seconds later, the dark pools had disappeared, and I saw the cleanest white porcelain imaginable. Harry gave the rest of the toilet a once-over. I wrote a check for $150, and he was on his way to his next call. It is now just past 2pm, and all is well. Quickest repair ever. I also asked him to check and clean my outdoor drainage line since my dogs often use it as their bathroom; he honestly let me know it didn't need servicing, no upselling at all. The price was incredibly fair and probably lower than most. During the installation of the flange, the one I bought was too short for my deep sink setup. Steve drove 28 miles round trip, on a Friday's traffic in LA, to a specialty plumbing supply store to source the exact part needed to finish the job perfectly; no additional charges.
