Clear FLow water solutions LLC was sent out to repair a shower faucet that was dripping, after the scheduled service call they came out and 10 minutes into the job John the plumber left the job with the water shot off and shower disassembled. when I asked as to why they would just leave a job unfinished with water off to the bathroom and in a unprofessional manner. the Company stated that they will need to get back to me with what the cost would be before continued work of a routine plumbing repair? Do not hire this company as they try desperately to take advantage of customers with there poor work ethics and unprofessional work manner. They installed a new water neutralizer and softener in my home. The sales person said it would be better than the older units I had. Within a couple of weeks I started seeing rust in the toilets and sinks. They claim my well water must have changed at the same time as they installed the new system. Contractor for AHS Warranty company total scammers. Clearflow technicians told us we needed pressure reducing valve which would cost us $689 out of pocket and warranty company would then cover new hot water heater. We did not schedule and decided to get 2nd opinion. 3 days later we receive call from clearflow that our claim was denied for hot water heater because water pressure caused water heater to fail. Water heater is 17 years old. Technicians failed to note age of hot water heater on their report to home warranty company. I called them to come out and fix or replace it since it's only been 2 months it should be under warranty by them. It is my opinion that this company is dishonest and intentionally try to scam their customers out of money. The company came to inspect a leaking water heater in association with Home Shield home warranty. After speaking with Home Shield the technician informed me the water heater is covered under my home warranty but I am required to pay $400 out of pocket. I signed the work order and waited for the warranty company to ship them a replacement water heater. A week or so later, after the warranty company shipped them a new water heater, they show up to a scheduled appointment and inform me the water heater is no longer covered and I owe over $2000. They refused to honor the original work order signed by their technician and myself for $400. Please do not give this company your business. read more

I called my home warranty co on 3/19and was scheduled for service on 3/23. I had toilet not working on my 2nd floor . Over that weekend and with Corona Virus causing chaos , my powder room toilet stopped working as well . Cesar from Clear Flow called ahead and let me know he was on his way . He replaced both toilets ( that I supplied )since a prior service call dictated that . He was courteous , professional and diligent. I am appreciative that Michelle and Kelly from the office were so helpful in such a trying time . I will add that when I called my home warranty company they refused to cover the installation cost of said high efficiency toilets . Our water heater was leaking, and our insurance used Clear Flow Water Solutions. I was concerned about the service I would receive, due some of the bad reviews I saw on Yelp. However, all of the plumbers I interacted with were kind and professional (Cesar, Adam, Jose, and Aaron), and they provided great service. Additionally, my experience with Andrea and Kelly (the schedulers/office staff) was great as well. There were some additional charges (e.g., to remove my old hot water heater), but that was not covered in my insurance and the price they quoted was reasonable. Our home warranty company assigned them. The toilet was making a screeching sound after flushing. There were 3 other items that needed maintenance, another toilet just starting to screech plus a shower head that drips and the kitchen faucet lever that sticks and drips. The house was built 10 years ago and it seems everything is going bad at once. The first technician replaced the pump for both toilets. He ordered parts for the shower and kitchen faucet. The new pumps worked and he left. I tested them in the master bath, the stopper was now sealing askew which causes the water to continuously run. When I checked the spare bath, I saw blue dye leaking from around the intake washer that seals the tank water from leaking out. I called their office and talked to someone there. They called back on Friday, saying they would be over Monday to finish the job. The second plumber came Monday. He didn't know anything about the shower and sink lever and didn't have any parts. He tightened the washer in the spare bath. Since that wasn't the problem before the first plumber came, it seems that he inadvertently loosened the washer. The second plumber said he tightened it today. He said the master bath toilet was good and he left. I immediately checked and it was just like before, askew and leaking. I caught him in the driveway. He came back in and replaced the stopper. It's better but we still have to jiggle the lever to make sure it's sealed. I called AGAIN to tell them what had just happened. She said they didn't have one of the parts yet and are going to find out about it. They are all pleasant to speak with, but their competence is in question. Let's see how many more times I have to take off work before they are able to get the job done. Absolutely awful. Clear Flow was sent by the home warranty company provided to us when we bought our home. There was a leak into the kitchen directly below the sink in the master bath. Even though we had opened the ceiling and exposed the sink pipe that was obviously wet, the plumber crawled into our attic and announced the leak was from a roof vent. We hired a local plumber who showed us how the pipe had not been properly connected and repaired it for $125. A potentially relevant fact is the warranty covers plumbing leaks but not roof leaks. read more

Back on September 1, 2017 we had a plumbing issue that flooded our basement, and part of our first floor. This company was contacted through my American Home Shield warranty. The company contacted me relatively quickly and set up a day when they could fix the issue. September 16, 2017 Howard came out to fix the issue, and explained everything to us. He installed a new faucet for us that we provided. Everything appeared to be working fine before he left. We went out and came back 5-6 hours later and our basement was re-flooded as well as the same part of our first floor. I called your company directly that same evening, because their website says 24/7 emergency service. I left a voicemail that I needed the 24/7 emergency service so we could turn the water back on in the house. I received no reply. The morning of September 17, 2017, at 9:30 I still had not heard from this company even after they had already been open for what your website stated was a half hour. I had to call my warranty company, to call clear flow, in order to get a response. The woman who was working and spoke with me that morning, was incredibly rude. The name she gave my warranty company was Victoria. The tone of her voice was as if she couldn't have cared any less about my situation. She kept repeating that she couldn't send anyone out until Monday, the 18th. I told her that was unacceptable because obviously that wasn't 24/7 emergency service. I asked why the website states 24/7 emergency service if this what the 2nd day in a row that it wasn't being provided, and her response was "I don't know." I have called back multiple times after the situation was finally rectified to speak with a supervisor, and I am always told the same thing, "The supervisor is unavailable and they will leave a message." My landlord called these guys to fix a leak. Scheduled an appointment from 1-5 on a Saturday, since I have a crazy schedule and can't be here during the week. I waited around doing some household chores for 4 hours and heard nothing. I had to leave at 5:15. At 5:17, I get a phone call saying he's 15 minutes away. I told him if he could be at my house at 5:45, I'd be back. I pulled into my neighborhood at 5:42 to see the van leaving. They called me later than their appointed time, they completely blew off a schedule, they gave me excuses for why they couldn't be here, and then left earlier than they agreed to. My home warranty company dispatched these guys to look at a leaky well tank. As a home-owner who paid for my warranty, I was under the impression the well tank was covered. The technician dispatched from Clear Flow Water Solutions knew that, if the tank was the item to be replaced, it was not covered by the warranty. We already knew the tank was the issue as it was already inspected, but the tech insisted on inspecting it. Result: we were charged a service call fee (amount set by the warranty company). I could have saved the service call fee if the tech had verified that the tank would not be covered over the phone instead of coming to my house to tell me the tank was the issue, when I already knew that information. Just doesn't sit well with me. I have to pay out of pocket to have the item replaced. read more

When the technician came out, he was very nice and promised us that this company would not be like a previous plumbing company we dealt with for a separate issue previously. He promised that our leak would be fixed even though he could not find the source. There's a large hole in my living room ceiling surrounded by mold, there is an obvious leak that needs to be addressed. Jump to 24 hours later. This guy only gives the details of "cannot find leak." So, this meant that nobody was calling us back. After giving the accurate description of the problem to the receptionist, I was told that she would be speaking with the technician and they would be calling AHS to determine what would be covered. We then find out that this lovely technician is claiming our pipes are covered in concrete. They are not. There are some rocks under the subfloor from before we moved here from the floor being replaced. Easily movable. Another 24 hours later... There is still a gaping, moldy hole in my ceiling that drips constantly when the shower is on. We are told that AHS will not cover anything. The best part, she tried to lie about when her tech came (he showed up at 11:30 our appointment was 12-4), claimed he entered my home because she had a confirmation number that "could not possibly exist if he didn't complete the service" then was offended that I told her that she was a liar. We have cameras. A special kind of stupid. I'll be reporting them to the BBB. She also tried to change the appointment time in the system (to 11) after the fact so the home warranty company would think her tech showed up on time. INCOMPETENT? DEFINITELY. DISHONEST? POSSIBLY. I am out $1500 for a simple clogged sewer pipe under my home. But I almost got ripped off for $7000 by this company. My downstairs toilet backed up and flooded the basement. My home warranty company sent Clear Water out to fix the problem. The first guy who came out couldn't figure out how to access the blocked pipe. It cost me 361 dollars for his visit which accomplished nothing. At least the guy, Jose, was a decent guy. His boss, Dave, came by a few days later. The first thing he announced was that the blockage was outside the house and would require complete excavation of the driveway and replacement of pipes at a cost of 6-7000 dollars. But the fact is that the outside pipes could not have been blocked because all sorts of other things were draining through there just fine. Eventually Dave admitted that the blockage was under the house and proceeded to try to unblock it with his very amateurish equipment. After an hour or so he proclaimed that he had succeeded and began to pack up. I had paid an extra 300 dollars for him to run a camera through the pipes to make sure there was nothing serious wrong. He started feeding the camera into the pipe. After about 20 feet water began to rise and cover the camera view. He announced that this meant that there was a dip in the pipes under the house and that the whole basement needed to be dug up to replace all of the pipes. It would cost me an additional 6300 dollars. I was shocked and upset to say the least. When Dave put the toilet back he didn't properly seal the flapper. Therefore water began to leak into the pipes. (I can't prove in court that Dave did this but it's the truth.) Two days later I came downstairs and found the basement flooded again with more raw sewage. That clearly meant that the blockage had never been cleared because nobody had used the facilities for over a week. I contacted a local plumber in the area whose business has been around for 100 years and who is well known in the community. He was kind enough to listen to my story and offer his adv ice. He thought my whole experience sounded extremely fishy and suspected that I was being ripped off. He was very busy but I was able to convince him to help me out. This plumber was a true expert and he had the real equipment. He used a large industrial size snake to clear the pipe. You could actually hear the rush of the water when he broke through. Then he got his camera and ran it through 100 feet of the piping all the way to the outside of the house. The pipes were in perfect condition. No dips. In absolutely excellent shape. I saw it for myself. So I'm out $1500 for a job that should have cost around $300. But I'm happy because I'm not down the $7000 I would be if I had listened to Clear Flow. The question becomes, is Clear Flow just incompetent or is there something more sinister going on. Dave seemed intent on turning this into a big project -- first outside the house and then under the house. He knew that I knew absolutely nothing about plumbing. I was easy prey. I guess I will never know the answer to that question. In summary, don't hire Clear Flow for anything that can't be solved with a simple toilet plunger. read more

Hot water gas valve leaking. Call American Home Shield warranty. They dispatch Clear Flow Water Solutions. Told Clear Flow that the gas valve was leaking. They came out 2 days later agreed that the gas valve needs to be replaced. Only thing they did not have the part with them. Now I have to wait for another 5 days for them to repair it. Clear Flow claimed to me that they need approval from American Home Shield. I call American Home Shield and they told me the part was covered. Lessons learned here. 1) Make sure the plumber has the part before they arrive. 2) Make sure the part is covered by the warranty company. 3) A plumbing job like this takes on average 5-7 days to get done through a warranty company. read more

No sense of urgency whatsoever. My hot water heater burst one week ago. I was assigned Clear Flow through my home warranty company (who also sucks, don't bother with American Home Warranty). Finally got someone out there yesterday to confirm that it needed to be replaced. We could've told them that, my father is a plumber but we were trying to actually use the home warranty to not have to pay out of pocket. The technician said that he'd call my report in immediately. I've called the warranty company twice, who in turn called the plumbing company, and the report still isn't ready. So, I'm unable to schedule to have the replacement put in. So, another weekend without hot water/showering/etc. I realize they might not be making a ton of money from the warranty company, but COME ON. Wouldn't you want to make future business? read more

One should be able to give 0 stars. Where do I start? Super slow response through phone at any time you call. Horrible, unsupportive staff that does not have any real willingness to help. On top of all this, they made me spend $650 on a repair that was not even necessary. After the repair was done, and the original complaint was not resolved, they referred me to find additional services from another contractor and refused to own up to an obvious mistake; technician just walked in and suggested the wrong repairs with little to no troubleshooting. Unfortunate that I had to even give them a 1. I will make a long story short as possible. The call for service was a home warranty (AHS) call for stoppage. They were told we couldn't use water or it backed up into our basement. They got back to me with a appointment for 48 hours later. 48 hours later, exactly when I had to take my grandkids to school, the guy showed up. I have no real clue what was said between him and my teenage son but he left before I got back. I was gone approximately 30 minutes and he showed up 13 minutes after I left. My son text me at 8:53 that the guy was here and wrote something on the paper and left and would call and tell my husband what he found. Well he did not find anything but dirt along the road where the water department is replacing the old lines but he did tell my husband that my son was saying about some lines broken with the water people and who knows what else. He is a teenager and had no clue what he was talking about. Anyway, after speaking with my husband he said he would come back and look at the issue. My husband left work to make sure the guy actually checked things out. Well the guy never returned one phone call or one text that was sent to his number. The so called professional NEVER show up either. I called the main office and she said she would have the manager call me. Well what a joke!!!! He simply said that the road crew probably did something and he wasn't touching it. This is at 5 on a Friday night after not having use of the facilities for 48 hours. Oh and we were leaving at 3 am for a vacation without the sons. We got back on Tuesday and had a reputable company come in and guess what....it was clogged. He cleared the line and we have one thing to replace. I can not express enough that Clear Flow Water Solutions should be avoided at all cost. I had read some reviews and was leary but I did not have a choice with the warranty I had purchased. DO NOT EVEN WASTE YOUR TIME CALLING THEM!!!!!! He lied to AHS and tried to blame the problem on a"new Install", that "new install" was 5 years ago. He left the toilet with a "new Flapper and pump", funny thing, he didn't realize that he left the new part by the side of the toilet uninstalled. Arrogant customer service. I called and was told, "tech already called AHS and he isn't coming back till Monday" I said this is an emergency, she said" we can come back, but it's going to cost ya". I had a small leak in my upstairs bathroom which caused a brown spot on my kitchen ceiling. I was referred to this company through my home warranty and would NEVER use them again. The tech acted like he fixed the problem and it was no big deal. I left town and my pet sitter told me that I now had a big leak that was dripping through the ceiling which was not happening before. A neighbor helped stop the leak until somebody could look at it. I called the warranty company who sent the same tech back out a second time. He still didn't fix the leak and didn't even bother to turn the water off. He left pots and pans around to catch the waterfall he never fixed. When I called to complain the dispatch person did not know why I was upset and that they had "fixed the stoppage" which was never the issue. I had to have a plumber from a different company come out to fix the leak. I now have to replace all of my kitchen cabinets and will be out thousands for this companies incompetence.
