Used Marta based on a reference. The 1st few visits were good. House was clean, cute little touches like rose buds on our toilet paper rolls & fanned tissues in the boxes, etc. The crew of 2 worked quickly. After the 2nd visit , I found a clay sculpture my child made was broken. I didn't say a word - accidents happen & perhaps they didn't realize that a piece broke off when they placed it back on the granite counter after cleaning, No big deal. Then things turned. First, I found bleach spots on my hallway carpet after a visit. I contacted Martha right away with pictures of the carpet and she replied that it was possible that the bucket splashed in transport and she arranged for another company to come out to "dye" the bleached areas. It's not perfect but I appreciated that it was remedied. In the meantime, I discovered that 3 rings, one of which was my diamond engagement ring, were gone. On the other 3 or 4 visits, I had not left any good jewelry out but that day I wasn't going into the office so I wasn't dressed up & just didn't think to put on my rings. Long story short, I discovered them gone after their visit - tore my house apart looking for them and then contacted both the police and Marta. Marta replied that her staff knows to work around jewelry & she would ask them if they saw my rings. i NEVER HEARD BACK FROM HER AFTER THAT. I tried to call her again and got voicemail and left her a message the following week stating that her staff wasn't welcome in my house again as the rings never re-appeared and she didn't respond to that call either. No one else had been in my house that week. The rings were always put in the same spot when I wasn't wearing them - I didn't "misplace them". Of course I have no proof of who took the rings since I don't have video - I am well aware of that & clearly Marta's staff is too - but the fact is my rings went missing - period. The fact is that the rings were never left out on their other visits. To me there is no other answer as to where my rings went; therefore I'm sharing my experience. The purpose of using QC Cleaning, Inc's services was to simplify my busy life and instead it has left me with a broken keepsake, a blemish in my carpet, the loss of the most precious type of valuables, and a really sour taste in my mouth.
