I did feel like with the extra elements included in the virgin bundle, each stage of the facial was a bit rushed. It was as if as soon as the mask went on, it was almost instantly taken off. The extractions were mostly limited to the nose despite other areas needing attention, which was addressed upon further discussion. This place is really good for quick in and out facials. We have been going for years and over the last year it has become a monthly outing with my daughter. But recently they've really started to struggle to keep our appointment times due to staffing issues resulting in my appointment getting canceled and my daughter getting her appointment. Granted, we get the option to keep both appointments and just go back to back - but that's not the experience we are looking for. When you enter, you'll see a counter & product wall. The products are broken up by face types (oily, dry etc.) My esthetician was Jasmine. She offered additional services explaining the ones I may be most interested in but wasn't pushy. As she cleaned my face, she explained everything that was being done & the benefits it provided. I was a Chatty Cathy & she didn't seem to mind at all. I could tell if I wanted silence, she'd offer that as well. It was a very relaxing experience. After my facial, she explained the products on the wall in case I wanted to come back & purchase. I had several questions about skin health & she answered every single one. She mentioned my skin was in good health & extraction would be a nice add-on. It's definitely something everyone should try. The consultation alone was helpful. I came due to a promotion and this was my first experience with CYDF. Staff were incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and helpful with all the questions I had. I'm terrible with remembering names but I believe my ladies name was Christie, she was talking me through every step, every product she used, she would announce before she would apply something or remove. I enjoyed her communication very much. Random thing I learned is that this location is only in communication with the Sandy Springs location, so they can't transfer your account or any appointments made to any other location. Well it's been almost a year of coming here and my skin has never looked better. I recently tried the upgrade to an hour with the zen bundle BUT I am allergic to citrus blossoms. So my Boss, Jasmine helped to customize my hour to ensure my allergies weren't triggered. I have gone through several Bosses over the last year and I have to say Jasmine is by far my favorite. She talks when you talk but otherwise is quiet the entire time and allows you to relax. She still tells you what she's doing before she does it but other than that she's silent. There are a few in there that will NOT stop talking and it sort of ruins the experience so I'm appreciative when I have any type of service done anywhere where the technician follows my lead on the talking. My last experience there, the Boss in the chair to my right was asking all sorts of personal questions like what is her job and how does she like it and when the lady said it's challenging she asked how so. You could tell the customer was getting annoyed from her heavy sighs after each question was asked and her answers started getting shorter. But the a Boss wasn't getting the hint. The customer before her I found out was just turning 18 and is super excited about getting her new Mercedes and they talked the whole half hour about it. I do often wish when I'm there that there were partitions between the seats for this reason alone. The other people getting serviced around you make it hard to relax. There have been a few times I've been there that I've been the only person there and it was heaven. Please put up partitions! lol Also shout out to Amanda at the front desk. Booked the first facial for my son online, for the package that is normally $70 for $35 since it was our first time. That package included extraction ( our main reason for the facial ). While at his appointment the 'tech' mentioned doing the extraction and we said 'ok' because it was part of the package. When checking out, they charged us $35 for extractions. So we ended up paying $70 anyways even though the extractions were LISTED in the package we purchased. And we still tipped. But what was supposed to be around a $45 service was $80 instead. Before the service was provided we thought about purchasing a membership, however after the bait and switch.... We decided that we won't be returning. read more

Got a nice facial here. Good service, a bit pricey, but if you're okay with $70 for a facial (though they did allow me to book a second one for $45 for use within one year), it's pretty nice. I added the virgin bundle for $45 and also bought sunscreen and a facial scrub and ended up spending $200. But those extras should definitely last a long time. One weird thing was exfoliation for my nose. They actually squeezed them out by hand. A bit strange, but oh well. I think it's a nice place to get a facial if you have the money. :) read more

So Got my facial this past Sunday, and honestly I thought was gonna be a simple facial but ended up having a wonderful time with my sweet girl that I don't remember her name I'm so bad at this sorry. I came for a facial due to a promotion. Signing up online was a bit confusing -- the website signing up process could be a bit smoother and nicer. When I entered, the front attendant called me by name which was very personal. However, she didn't seem to welcome me/ask me if I had questions. She just went about her day. (I think it would be nice if customer service from the very first experience of entering this "relaxing" day could be a bit better). Halycon had a women's' night a few months ago and I received an offer for a complimentary facial from Clean Your Dirty Face (CYDF). I completed the required steps and had the free facial added to my account, but I totally forgot about it so appreciate the reminder email from CYDF. When I went online to schedule an appointment there was limited availability, so this place is very popular so definitely recommend an appointment. This is the only location in Georgia, however there is a location coming soon to Sandy Springs. The Alpharetta location is in the Halycon mixed development and there is ample parking, you have paid lots that are located close to the business, or you can park in the garage for free, it's a short walk.   CYDF is pretty unique, this is the home of the 30-minute facial. I didn't know what to expect and initially thought it would feel like a rushed facial, however I was totally wrong. I absolutely enjoyed my facial from Nickie and felt relaxed. Now, I'm not a fan of the open space but when I went the music was playing and I was still able to totally relax. Nickie has a pleasant personality and does a fantastic job explaining each step; the face massage was heavenly. She recommended that I start exfoliating to help with the dark spots and clogged pores. She recommended that I get two services added on; extractions for $10 and a pumpkin mask $20; I added on the extractions but skipped the pumpkin mask since I have sensitive skin.   After my service was over, she walked me up front and showed me the products she used on my face. I really liked all of them and I had a glow which I loved because I was tired of looking at my dull skin. I have severely sensitive skin, so I didn't purchase any products this visit, I want to give it a few days to make sure I'm not allergic to anything she used. I was underwhelmed by my experience here. The aesthetician was pleasant and did a decent job cleansing and giving me a facial massage. I paid an extra $30 for extractions which consisted of her using an ultrasonic cleanser on my nose and then squeezing my nose very hard until it left red marks. The esthetician recommended the Glow facial based on my current skin condition. I also opted to add on the extractions. For the $10 add on I didn't think they were that thorough with the extraction. They only focus on the nose area, when I've had other places focus on all the problem areas. I probably would skip the add on in the future. The products smell and feel great that are used. It is a wonderful express facial spa--high energy dance music, neon colors painting the walls, and a light and bright vibe. The facials last exactly 30 minutes including add-ons. I would take a facial over a massage any day. I haven't had one in forever, so I decided to jump on this promotion and check it out. Clean your Dirty Face originated in Chicago, IL and has since moved to cities like LA, Charlotte, and now here! They are located in the Halcyon so leave extra time to find parking. I wasn't sure where this place was, so it put me a few minutes behind. While I prefer an hour facial, and it did seem a little rushed (my fault for being late), I did really like the experience and ended up buying the membership which is $99 a month for unlimited facials. Say what?!?! If I had the time, I'd be here all the time, but I can at least get in here 4 times a month...which makes the price REALLY good. The esthetician who did my facial was nice, explained each product to me and what I would experience before she started. My skin felt so soft afterwards, and super clean too. I really liked their products, and while they aren't cheap, they were offering a buy 2 for $89 right now in store. The lemon products smelled so good and they do this thing I've never had done before which is these glass ball wands they rub on your face. It felt good and it can't hold bacteria which is even better. If you want to have additional things done, they do offer some things like extractions and microdermabrasions for an extra $10 or advance addons like light therapy, oxygen boost, or pumpkin peels. The facility was really clean, but the only thing is it's not private. There are two chairs, and you can hear the other peoples' conversations. Otherwise, I highly recommend this place. I thought the business name was a little odd, but I suppose it's direct. It's in a cute plaza, and I found good parking easily. When I walked in, I was greeted by Amanda. Very nice. She was helpful walking me through the process, and options. I selected a simple 30 minute treatment. My skin care professional was Carissa. She was awesome. Told me step by step what she was doing, and she did a great job. The place itself is efficient and tasteful. In the end, my face feels nearly new, (a great accomplishment at my age). The salon is located in Halycon, which means metered parking and garage parking. You can book facial services online or in person. This is an 'open air' type of facial salon...meaning that all of the client/facial chairs are placed together in a brightly lit, semi-tight open space. Which means you hear everything...everyone entering the salon, hear the front desk staff, other clients, the estheticians talking etc. So if you're looking for quiet, relaxing, private/dimly lit room and calm ambiance...this is NOT it. HOWEVER that being said, the actual service I received was excellent. I received the 30min Fresh facial. My esthetician, Jasmine, was warm and extremely friendly. She started by asking questions and doing an assessment of my skin/face. I liked that she listened intently to my concerns, allergies, issues etc without judgement. The first time getting my face cleaned by someone else was definitely different. If you've never done this before, welcome to the club. Walking in here It's pretty much a store front with seats in the back with technicians cleaning other people's faces. If you want to come here and don't want to wait I would say maybe make an appointment. But they also accept walk in appointments. Once you decide what you want as far as the facials and also add-ons, a worker will take you to the back and gie you a full facial. They do ask if you have any allergies or anything and they also go through what they're going to do before actually doing it. By far the best part of the facial cleaning was when they used the ice queen after using all of the steam to open pores, that ice (which is really just like a cold spherical ball) was super refreshing. This was an amazing experience. I had a very busy November and this was a great way to start the beginning of the month. I wanted to provide videos and photo, but of course, my phone decided to die.... technology.. sigh!!! Anyway I was greeted by the employee at the desk. I didn't get their name. He was amazing. My facial was done by Tatiana. She was amazing. She provided great conversation and information about the services I was receiving After reviewing your chart, the aesthetican assesses your face and makes recommendations based on your skin. I have a combination of both oily and dry skin, so she used products to help balance it out. She started out with a steam treatment then from there, used an exfoliating scrub, face oil, and cooling gel with facial ice globes. My skin felt amazing, next time I plan to try the pumpkinseed peel and the blackhead removal. You can purchase the products they use on your face from their location, I would say they are moderately priced. It felt great to be pampered. That was the best 30 minutes I've devoted to self-care in a while and it was so relaxing! After she was done, I didn't want to leave...lol it was that good. The products she used smelled amazing and the results were even better. If my phone cooperated, I could have provided proof. I love my skin overall but have noticed light spots. I wasn't sure where they were coming from, but she was able to shed light on the situation and even provided solutions on what could be done. I discovered this spot by way of a Tik Tok video! I am not on Tik Tok, however my sister sent it to me. The video's main point was that this place was home of the $25 facials! Admittedly the discounted price is what piqued my interest. Just so that everyone understands correctly, you only get your first facial at 50% off the original $50 fee. I did a little research and discovered that this spot was located in Alpharetta. The city is technically considered a part of metro atlanta, but it's easily a 45 minute drive from where I live. As such, I had to make a reservation for the weekend. It appears that they book up pretty quickly and I had to make my reservation for a week out. Please note that everything is done online. You sign up, get the 50% code and schedule your appointment. The day of my appointment I received a text message suggesting that I allow an additional 5 minutes for parking. The message noted that the parking lot was being used for a private event so I would have to park in the deck. I don't like to be late so I decided to arrive extra early! I am glad I did. Parking was crazy! It took me more like 15 minutes to park in the deck. It's my understanding that the Halycon shopping Center where this business is located has private events on weekend often. As such, just make sure you plan accordingly. I was immediately greeted when I. Walked in. I was instructed to complete a sheet that asked questions about my skin concerns and my current skincare routine. My esthetician came out and introduced herself. The facial is provided in an open environment. I was one of 3 clients getting a facial. The set up is more like a hair salon. You can engage in conversations with others or just relax. After looking at my skin under a light my esthetician advised me that I had slightly oily skin. She suggested I get the fresh facial. This facial description noted that it brightens dark spots. There are two other facial types: Glow (youthful, radiant skin), and Detox( deep clean and clearer skin). I noted on my sign in sheet that my concern was under eye bags. The esthetician suggested two additional services, one was at a cost of $10 and the other $20. I did decline the upsell services. The facial was pretty basic: steam, cleans, exfoliate, ice roller, moisturizer. I will say that the massage during the facial was amazing! The entire facial took about 30 minutes to complete. After the facial I was shown the products that were used on my skin. I did purchase the cleanser. I like the list of ingredients on the product. However, I do fear that it may dry my skin out. I would suggest that they sell their products in smaller sizes. If not, they should offer a money back guarantee. I hate spending money on products that ultimately don't work for me. I love that their estheticians complete a brief consult before they start working on your face. We talked about my skin type and some current concerns I had with my skin and chose products based on those concerns. My lady was very gentle and considerate of her pressure through the experience. She was also very informative of the products she was using and what their benefits were. My favorite part was the ice globes! At the end I felt very refreshed and can't wait for my next visit. Here you have brightly colored walls, energetic music, and a fun atmosphere while still giving you the relaxation of a facial. While I can appreciate a deal, especially one that cuts a price in half, I can't help but feel like I was bamboozled out of my coins at this establishment. I heard about this place on TikTok. While it is 45 minutes away from my home, the ad made me want to check it out. It would be my birthday treat to myself. PSA! Parking is a hassle. Please arrive at least 15 mins prior to your appointment in order to find parking. Review: This is a nice sized boutique spa. There were two beds, and two estheticians working in the spa area (not private). The reception area was neat and tidy with few seats available. I thought I made an appointment when I signed up online. Turns out I did not. The slot I thought I reserved had been reserved by another woman. I apologized for my mistake and offered to leave the table because I would never want to steal someone's reservation. The tech asked me to wait a moment while they figured it out. By the way, these are 30 minute sessions for the promotion price of $25. With this entire mixup I'm already behind by 10 mins, which they will not make up, but I didn't know this until the end. I have pretty good skin, but in the winter it dries out. I spoke with Sneh (I hope I spelled it correctly), the esthetician about which add-on would benefit my skin. She suggested a pumpkin peel to detox and restore. Although I have had detox facials before and it's pretty time consuming, I agreed assuming that she was going to take time to apply and let the detox sit. The detox was on my fave for less that 2 minutes with a hydrated steam. She continued with the rest of the expedited facial and gave me tips for dry skin. Then it was over. I spent $55 for 17 minutes. Seriously?! What in the mall booth disguised as a spa is this? Sneh was friendly and informative, hence the two stars. I received an email from CYDF offering me a free 30 minute facial, so I had to check them out! I was able to easily set up my appointment online for the best time that worked for me. They are open 7 days a week and offer facials bookings every 30 minutes. Appointments are not required, but I would recommend making one because they were almost 100 percent booked the day I went. When I arrived, I was taken back to a comfy reclining chair where Nastassia, my esthetician, asked me questions about my skin to figure out what products would be best for me. The 30 minute facial included use of a facial steamer and all natural and clean products. Every product that she used was a perfect fit for the needs of my skin and they all smelt amazing! My skin was feeling painful dry when I arrived and felt so much better after my treatment. My favorite part of the facial was the use of the "ice queens," which is their cold massage tool that they use. I have never had a facial that used something like this before and I really think that this makes CYDF facials stand out from other facials. Extractions, massages and other things are considered add ons and cost an additional fee.
