However, the water temperature during the wash felt extremely hot, and the scalp scrubbing was very aggressive. Both of us left with tender, red scalps. Within about six hours, my partner developed painful blistering on the back of his head. We saw a doctor promptly; he was diagnosed with folliculitis and prescribed an antibiotic. It's been 2 days later and I still have tender scalp. I also want to note a hygiene concern: there is a shared blow-drying area with hair brushes available for anyone to use. We were not offered a disposable brush or a clearly single-use option, which made us uncomfortable from a cleanliness standpoint. We contacted the business to share what happened and request a resolution. We did not feel our concerns were addressed, and the compensation offered ($60) did not reflect the cost of the services (close to $400) plus a medical visit. Based on our experience, I would not recommend this location.

We went in a group of 4, 2 per room. First they worked on the facial treatment then they started switching from scalp shampooing/massaging to facial treatments. My favorite was probably the eye mask. They gave me options on the essential oils and shampoos on what my concerns were including: detoxification, oily, or dry skin. For the price ($155) what surprised me most was at the end we had to walk to another room to dry our own hair.. since they only have 1 hair dry room, if it was occupied then they had hair dryers in your own room for you to dry yourself. I get blow outs before and it was very bizarre for me to dry my own hair after this kind of luxury service. But since it was my first time I went with it. Overall, the service was nice and this may be something to do if I needed a scalp treatment, otherwise for the price I would pass.

That's why it's so upsetting that, with the recent change in front desk staff and how policies are handled, we've decided we won't be returning. Most of the difficulty has been with the receptionist, Pamela. Whether on the phone or at checkout, she has come across as impatient, dismissive, and clearly bothered by basic questions. I've been met with sighs and an attitude that made me feel like helping a client was an inconvenience. Instead of leaving relaxed and appreciated, I left feeling unwelcome. I was also told my gift certificate had expired, despite never being informed of an expiration date or receiving any reminder. And while clients are charged for canceling within 24 hours, the spa has canceled within that same window themselves. The inconsistency feels unfair. I wanted to continue supporting this business, but the customer service experience made it clear our loyalty didn't matter.
