Do not let the past reviews fool you. This place is absolutely amazing! It's located within a plaza inside an office suite, so there was ample parking. I didn't know what to expect walking in but I was very pleased with the look and decor of business it was very clean and quaint. I wanted to do something nice for my moms birthday and called around to about 8 other places looking for the perfect package. I finally settled on bamboo bliss because their package services and pricing matched what I was looking for. Contacting the company and making the reservation was very easy. Lisa the receptionist was very helpful in answering any questions I had. Upon walking in we were greeted by Neka who is the owner. As we proceeded to fill out the forms they got our couples suite ready. After they were done they let us in our room and it was absolutely beautiful the atmosphere, the decorations, the ambience, the music, everything was perfect. We got the bamboo bliss couple spa package $299. Which came with 2-50 minute massages, 2 aroma glow body scrubs, 2 facials, and I opted for the $50 add on of two rose petal foot baths, chocolate covered strawberries, and champagne. It was really sparkling Rosé but that was better in my opinion. Our therapists for the day we're Neka and Jonathan. They were extremely professional, polite, generous, and we got amazing massages and facials we walked out of there feeling like two completely different people so relaxed we couldn't even leave we were like in a relaxation haze. Had an appointment scheduled a full month in advance, planned to do a couples retreat with myself and my new fiancé. When we showed up ten minutes early, as per the request if the girl we booked with, the place was locked and dark. We tried to contact them with their posted number, and repeated phone calls but received no response and a full voice mail box. We left after 20 minutes. If this company is still running it's not being done so in a particularly professional manner. Solera Spa and Salon is 5 minutes down the road from Bamboo Bliss. Book with them instead. All I can say is, PLEASE pay attention to the negative reviews. I haven't even been fortunate enough to make an appointment with this business so I'm confident those 1-star reviews have some truth to it. I've been looking for a place that offers bamboo massages for years and was super excited when I came across this place. But I can't get someone to book my appointment to save my life. Most of the time, no one picks up, even during business hours. When I called yesterday, someone picked up the phone and answered, "hello?" Not "Bamboo Bliss, how can I help you" or anything of the sort. I went on to explain that I came across their business on Groupon (apparently a curse word to them) and an American woman stated that the receptionist was unavailable and I needed to call back the next day after 10am. Alrighty then. So I gave it a few more tries today and I keep coming up with an automated cell phone voicemail recording saying the mailbox hasn't been set up. I fully understand the hesitation with Groupon, but damn, I didn't have a chance. I've used Groupon in the past for my business so I get it not wanting to be swarmed with deeply discounted customers, but Groupon is pretty flexible. So if you no longer want to offer Groupons anymore, just cancel it. It's that simple. There's no obligation to continue. Groupon will refund everyone back their money and there's no hard feelings. But because of my experience with Groupon, I had intentions to pay the business directly anyways, without going through Groupon. I also told 10 of my friends about this place and we were all going to take turns going over the next 2 weeks, but I'm not about to embarrass myself like that. This place doesn't seem to have any respect for their business or potential customers. I'd also like to add that for a business to have almost 100 5-star reviews and not have any interior photos from customers is very suspicious. I'm inclined to believe that most, if not all, of them are fakes. There is also coincidentally another business named "Bamboo Bliss" in Roswell, just minutes down the road with a 4.5-star rating on yelp. That seems widely inaccurate. When you go to their website it takes you to the very same website that we all know and love. And the reviews on Yelp for the Roswell business resemble the same theme for the 1-star customers on this site. It is quite shameful that yall are even still in business. So in closing: if you're looking to get a massage, whether body, bamboo, foot or finger, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! Cause we keep knocking but ain't nobody home. read more

Bamboo bliss is amazing! My husband and I got the bamboo bliss package. 2 massages, body scrubs, and facial along with a dozen roses I got to take home. The ladies were super nice. Neka worked on knots better then any professional has ever done. They use warm bamboo sticks to help ease muscle tension and it adds to what is already an amazing massage. The facility is clean, warm, and inviting. I never felt uncomfortable. I would recommend that if you are reading this you should just book an appointment already. Never been there, but had someone leave multiple fliers on my car. Which was parked in a private lot, on private property. I thought maybe they just gave me one of their pieces of trash to throw away, but did not realize that there were ads on my passenger side. When I rolled down my window the add fell in to the panel. So now, not only did they put trash on my car, it is inside as well, meaning I have to take time this weekend to take my car door apart, or take it to a mechanic. I already work long enough hours and don't have money to spare and you guys managed to take up one or the other of those things by using one of the most obnoxious forms of advertisement...on private property with multiple no soliciting signs posted. If I ever see another add on my car from this company I will not hesitate to press charges for trespassing and harassment. read more

I got a text this morning that said my "7pm appointment was cancelled". Since it didn't say where the text was from and I didn't have a 7pm appointment scheduled, I texted back and when I heard nothing back I assumed it was a wrong number. Turns out my 1pm appointment at Bamboo Bliss was the once cancelled. They barely gave me any notice at all. I took PTO off work today to receive their services. If they had let me know last night, I would not have missed work. I'm so disappointed but I should have read their Yelp reviews beforehand because I see cancelling appointments last minute is nothing new for them. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY AND TIME!! If I could give it 0 stars I surely would. I purchased a $200 Groupon and scheduled a much needed couples massage package with them. As we were in the vehicle heading to our appt (which is over an hour away from where we live) I happened to check my email and found they had canceled our appt!!! No call. Just an email. 30 mins prior to our appt time at that!!!! The email said they would contact me to reschedule and it's been a month!! I've called over a hundred times with no answer or call back. I'm going to have to call my credit card company to disputed the charges. Hopefully they can help. This is the most unprofessional company I've ever dealt with in my life. If I could give zero stars I would. This company cancelled my massage while I was driving to the massage saying they could no longer accommodate me and the front desk was incredibly rude. Per the manager, who called me, he fired her and offered me an additional 30 minutes massage and a facial to compensate my time and the way I was treated. Scheduled it for two weeks out, spoke to him and the front desk the day before and day of massage to confirm. Both confirmed. While driving to the massage I received a text that it was cancelled. Neither the manager or the spa will answer or return my calls. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY. Groupon completely refunded my and is now looking into breaking their partnership with this company for shady business dealings. read more

I wish I could make this negative stars, Booked a couples Massage for my 20 year wedding anniversary in February for May. Called the day prior to confim the time just because of reviews , I wanted to make sure there would be no issues. How about got there on my anniversary waited 30 minutes NO SHOW, NO CALL, NO ANSWER TO MESSAGES, NOTHING! HORRIBLE!!!!!!! Like really who does that? I wish I could give 0 stars! I scheduled an appointment last weekend and an hour before my appointment, they emailed me a cancellation due to electrical problems (they didn't even call to notify me). I rescheduled the appointment to this weekend. I scheduled a massage at 12:30 and a facial at 1:30. An hour before (noticing a last minute pattern) they left me a voicemail that the facial aesthetician was out sick so they had to cancel my facial but I could still come in for my massage. 30 minutes before my massage, while I was en route to my appointment, they messaged me saying they had to reschedule my massage to 2:00, which I couldn't make. I called right back and they didn't answer. I continued to attempt to reach them as I continued to drive to the location but no answer on the phone or response via text. When I got to the location, the building was locked and I had to try to reach them through a key pad at the front of the building and they didn't answer. I sat outside for 20 minutes trying to buzz them through the building and call them on the phone...no answer! It is 2:30 and they still have yet to call me back! Not only did I not get a relaxing day at the spa, I got an extremely stressful day instead! I will NEVER book here again!! So unprofessional!! Was so excited to get a massage at this place. I set up an appointment for me and my sister. We set the appointment 3 days in advance. The day of our appointment (an hour before scheduled time), I received a text message. Not a phone call but a text message. Very unprofessional, got no response to reschedule! 3 days later still no call or response to reschedule the appointment or no offer of complimentary services due to the inconvenience and on top of all this! This place is a liar LIAR LIAR! They said they cancelled the appointment due to a storm and power loss which was not true because I got a hotel 5 minutes away from the spa to be close and spent the weekend in the area. The night before I was out all night with friends and family and power in the entire area was fine! Me and my sister even went by the place (day of appointment) since we were so close and there was no power loss. I should've went inside to make the lady feel stupid! This place is VERY unprofessional and should not have booked appointments if there was no room for our appointments. PERIOD! This place tried to charge my card as well.
