I wanna start off by saying I hate going to Avalon so I was dreading going here. But I just had the best experience ever with Lisa at Sephora. LISA I LOVE YOU. I would go back quite literally just to speak to her. I came in with a bunch of questions and concerns about skincare and foundation for skin changes in your thirty's. She was so knowledgeable and took me all around the store for an entire new routine. You can tell she's so passionate and really loves what she does. She completely made my day. We literally hugged before I left and I miss her already. I can't say enough good things about her. Made my day. read more

Second time in this store and had to search someone to help. They pointed to an area and never came by to suggest product, help try on etc. Finally ask another salesperson to get me a sponge so I could try on a b product I found. The Perimeter Mall store has great sales people. They help and suggest with anything you need. Unfortunately not as convenient. read more

Times have changed. My last review was a 5star but today it becomes 1star. Staff utterly disinterested in helping me. FOUR employees, including the greeter, wouldn't even acknowledge my existence. We just visited this store and we give a lot of money to Sephora and do not expect to get treated the way we did today we will NOT be back. We were rudely accused of stealing perfume was yelled and cussed at by one of the workers. After that she went and Gossiped to her associates.The lady that yelled at me and my sister assumed that since I was a boy I didn't know anything about the store. The person I was with proceeded to buy the perfume even after the DISGUSTING behavior. we left the store and Pondered on what had happened and realized how rude and disrespectful the incident was and will never shop there again . Do NOT come here for a brow wax if you like big thick brows. I specifically said I wanted to keep my brows thick and only shaped and she assured me she would with her 10 years of experience. She hacked off half of my brows and now I look like Greta Garbo. Pissed does not even begin to describe how I feel as this will take years to grow back, if it will even grow back. I love products. Skincare, makeup,...I love it all. I don't wear much, but I sure do love browsing through it. This particular location is at the Avalon, which is a heavily populated area. So expect crowds when you go. They do have a decent selection of stuff, and I like the selections they carry versus one of their other big competitors, however I wish the store were bigger. You can definitely feel a little claustrophobic being in there too long, and it can be hard sometimes to hunt down some sanitizer in the area you're in. I do love that they have lots of "try-ons" so you can sample product, and that includes skin, hair, and makeup. I was happy to find they actually had the perfume my daughter wanted in stock, too. I find the store a little chaotic when I go, but I can imagine it's hard to keep it looking pristine with all the traffic that comes through. I mainly get my stuff online, but in a pinch, I'd come back, and if you are a repeat customer, definitely sign up for their rewards program. You'd be surprised at how much you spent without realizing it. You might as well get perks for it! read more

I have been a Sephora VIB MEMBER for many years but If I could give this location 0 stars I would .. yesterday had the most horrible experience... I was looking for a fresh brand rose face cream and couldn't find it in store so one of sales guy was trying to get me to buy the biossance cream and I told him that I didn't have a good experience with that brand and he was like "oh this is the best brand in the US' in a very condescending and rude manner. At billing I had an issue with Apple Pay and didn't have my wallet on me .. and a woman called Aphrodity or what ever heck her name was gave me such nasty looks since I had to restart my phone and scan again ! Racist behavior at this store ! Never returning to this location ever again ..the worst customer service I have ever seen read more

Not a fan. Petite blonde with long straight hair. She did NOT want to assist me. I could just tell. I came for one specific thing. Just spent $900 during their sale. Then I walked out and I looked back to see her talking to her associate about me. I think it's because I am of a certain age I get this from time to time now. The ladies of Avalon- Sephora really needs to learn customer service. There are several times this has happened to myself or friends who shop at the Avalon Sephora. Ladies when you are helping a customer don't just leave in the middle of color matching or finding a product to help more than one customer at a time. We do not have hours to spend at Sephora. Help one customer and make sure that they have all of the products they came in for before you just leave half way to start a process with someone else. I understand you also work off of commission but if you actually put the time in to one customer and not try to run around helping several at a time you can sell more in bulk and have a higher commission with less frustrated customers. This is the only location that does not know what true customer service looks like!!! read more

Above and beyond customer service from Alex at this location. They were amazing, answered every single questions and was extremely knowledgeable. I'm sure they had other people to help, but we never felt rushed. I went into this store 2 times in. Week to make purchases and both times received USED items and had to go switch them out I don't understand why they follow you around in the store like you're going to steal something because they don't want you touching anything because of Covid but then I end up getting not 1 but 2 used items in the same week read more

The employee Crystal was super cheery and helpful but the rest of the employees...not so much. I got an email from Sephora about a deal at only the Avalon location so I went but was told when I entered the store that I had the day wrong for the deal. I left disappointed but before I drove away I double checked my email and was correct about the date. I called the store where Crystal confirmed I was correct and welcomed me right back. It seemed as though no one else was made aware of the deal though as I had to show my email at the check out counter and no one else in line received it. My birthday is next week and I had also received an early birthday email from Sephora showing me what freebie I could get. When I asked for my birthday gift at the counter I was told I had to wait till next month. Overall, not the best experience I've had at Sephora. I'll most likely just stick to online orders instead. read more

came in to buy a few things with my friend for our birthday cruise that's coming up. i just wanted to feel good about my skin for our birthday but left the store in tears after an employee Smokee ridiculed me for my skin. i was told "mama isn't going to help with finding you some concealer until that skin looks good." and literally walked away. i know she might have been playing around but i think the only reason why she turned around to help me again was because she saw the tears in my eyes and noticed how i just shut down. i'll never come back to this sephora again. i'd rather order online than come back to sephora read more
