The attitude in this place is just crazy!! My wife needed some help and it was like she was bothering them. I mean literally the employees was mean mugging my wife for asking. Seriously if you don't like working with people don't! I mean even after my wife was done the employee looked like she was wanting to murder someone. Your job is customer service first and foremost... seriously my wife is paying for you to work here... get over yourself! I wanted to say something so badly... maybe she was having a bad day... then get off the floor or put your game face on. UNBELIEVABLE!!!!! I called a week ahead to get an appointment to help me applying eye shadow. I specifically asked for the cost. "Complimentary" I was told. When I got to my appointment, the young lady spent 8 minutes with me applying eye shadows. I decided to purchase a couple of items. When I got to the check out my bill was over $90. I said "WHAT FOR?" The reply was $70. for the consultation. What a rip off. I walked out without my products and without paying. Stay away from this location. A total disaster. read more

Please go somewhere else for your eyebrow waxing right now if you are expecting benefit brow quality. This location does not currently have anyone at their benefit brow bar and an aesthetician in the salon is doing the waxing. If you literally just need clean up, I'm sure she can do that. But shaping, no. The only reason I gave more than one star was that the manager was understanding and after speaking with she told me she was not going to make me pay for the service. I already even said that I had no problem paying something, but I didn't feel I should have to pay full price. The aesthetician really tried to shape, but waxed the same spot so many times that it hurts for that area to even be touched now and got upset when she asked me what I thought of the brow she had just waxed and I responded that I didn't like it. Her response was...well I haven't finished it yet....why ask what I thought of the brow you had just waxed if you weren't done yet? She made a comment at the beginning that she does body waxing and facials usually. So I'm sure she's good at that and other than that one instance she was very pleasant. Ulta is a love fest for all things beauty. I really don't wear much makeup and most days, none at all, but I have this fascination with products nonetheless. I could literally just spend gobs of time looking at...well, products. I have a mini CVS in my bathroom with so many lipglosses, hair products, lotions and shower gels that may just get old and have to be tossed out before I even get around to using them. But the mere fact of having them in my home makes me happy. I know, crazy right? So this store will completely inundate you with a myriad of lotions, hair products, and makeup galore. I came in for one item, and left with three, and that was me exercising self control. I wanted one of everything really. I will say that if you need help, it didn't seem easy to find someone. But since I was browsing, I was able to find what I was looking for and then some. I've recently discovered dry shampoo thanks to my aunt, and I loved hers, so decided to get me a can, ummm...make that three. I noticed they have their own hair salon here as well. Tons of perfumes, lots of brand names in hair and makeup. I like that I didn't have to go to the dreaded mall, either. I'm a fan. I'll come back to add to my collection one day soon. I still love this Ulta location. The staff are so knowledgeable. I'll pull up an item on my phone and 9 times out of 10 the person I ask instantly knows where it is. The other 1 out of 10 times someone else knows where it is and helps quickly. The staff I've interacted with are patient and helpful when I've had any issues such as an item ringing up for the wrong price, or helping me with coupons to get me the best deal. On a whim I decided I wanted my hair highlighted so I booked online at this location and got Amanda the salon manager. Let me just say I AM IN LOVE WITH MY HAIR! I showed her a few pictures of what I wanted and she said bayalage would be the best way to go. It came out amazing and I love my cut. Will be a forever client now! P.S. Terrible experience. If you want to be embarrassed in front of other guests for too many returns, please come here! I am a Diamond member and was given the wrong item in a pickup order from another store. I came here to do the return and to my surprise, I was offered less money than what I paid. That is when I realized that the store who filled my order gave me the wrong size. I was made to feel like I did something wrong, and the manager on duty even called the fulfilling store to verify what happened, and they apparently saw on cameras that "the right size was placed in my bag". Basically insinuating that I was lying. How else would I have gotten the perfume ! It made no sense to me. The manager then said "you've made a lot of returns in 30 days, I would monitor that, and I will do the return this one time for you but next time you need to report the error to the store the same day." Like I did something wrong ? In front of other guests. How would I know it was wrong when I literally JUST opened the product and hadn't tried it yet? Not once did I receive an apology for receiving the wrong item in the first place. I wonder if it's because I was dressed in casual clothes and a head scarf, I didn't look the part? The worst experience ever. Made an appointment for hair cut with Aiyana. I came 10 mins early but I had to wait for my stylist for like 25 mins. She was late 15 mins. The whole store was looking for her. When she came she didn't apologize or anything, just asked what I wanna do. She kept pulling my hair really hard and my head was burning when she was blow drying my hair. I asked for long layers all around with face framing which she didn't do. She just trimmed my hair a little. So basically nothing changed. I Just felt like she tried to finish it quickly so she can go home. I waisted $67. Would never go there again. I left her $10 even tho she didn't deserve a tip. I got home and cut my hair better than she did. AIYANA IS THW WORST STYLIST. Wouldn't go to her!!! read more

Just a horrible experience in this store. No one came up to ask if I needed help, when I did ask for help, I was passed around and never found what I was looking for. Basically, it just seems as if no one really understands the full range of products so they try the one product they know and if you don't like it, they send you to another person. This is not what I've had as an experience at other Ultas so I was surprised. It felt like they were either unable or, more realistically, unwilling, to help me and so instead of me walking out with a full make-up bag full of new goodies, I left empty handed and no closer to replacing my lost make-up bag. As far as compared to other Ultasl, this location is the worst Ulta I've ever been to. It's just not well stocked, disorganized feeling and seemed to not carry many of the things I usually purchased at Ulta. For example, I couldn't find hair clips for sectioning and blow drying my hair. But more disturbing was the lack of GAF from the people who work there. With so many options for make-up and beauty stores, there is no need to go ehre. So... go elsewhere. read more

I've came in here on a few separate occasions never really feel welcomed nor do I receive assistance. No matter how polite I am, the consultants don't know the products they're selling nor the customers they're supposed to be marketing these products to and don't care to even try. They talk more to each other than the customers. Products aren't always easy to find and you will need one of them to direct you. On several occasions I have had staff help me with recommendations and they always provide great product options, some of the products I still use. DON'T GET AN ULTA CREDIT CARD!! They are affiliated with Comenity Capital Bank in Texas. They don't send you an email of your statement nor do they send you a statement in the mail. I have called them several times to get them to send my statement by mail, they would always say they would and not. Finally got a comenity capital bank customer service rep on the phone after waiting for 30 minutes. She was rude and transferred me over from place to place. I spoke with Justin (girl) and she was absolutely the most rude person I have ever spoken with. Because I had not received a phone call, text, email or mail statement, I was charged $43 a month for missing the payment. I missed 2 payments. So my bill was $50 and then with interest and a whopping late fees it came out to be around $147. I told her I would pay it, but didn't think I should have to pay for something I didn't receive (statement). She basically kept to her script and said sorry but that was there policy. She kept saying that they had arecord of sending me the email, well, checking my trash/spam, no they didn't. I told her it was literally my word against hers.... She again said that was there policy and she would gladly take my payment. Needless to say, I closed the account and paid the amount. NEVER, WILL I DEAL WITH ULTA AGAIN!!!! Dealing with Ulta (credit card) you will be dealing with Comenity Capital Bank and their customer service stinks to high heaven!!! I stopped by this location to pick up a few items for their 21 days of beauty sale and it was packed! This was one of the cleanest, well-stocked stores I've been too. Well, I just had an unpleasant experience at this store. I went in to buy a moderately expensive product. It was advertised as "buy 2, get 1 free," but there were only 2 bottles on the shelf, and I was told they had no more in stock. The simple solution would have been to give me a raincheck for the 3rd bottle and let me pick it up later. But no. My choices were to take the time to drive to another store (which might not have it, either) or order it online--and not be able to use my 20% coupon. I've been a client of the salon at Buckhead for years, but that salon is very busy and also the Alpharetta location is closest to my home, so I decided to give it a try for occasional blow dries for events. I never take risks with my hair, so I always get my hair completely straight, no curls, no waves, nothing, just straight which is easy for any stylist. I went there on October 2018 and had an appointment with Dominique and I was pleases with her work and paid $38, which is cheaper than another salon in the are that only does blow dry. I had another event at the beginning of December and made an appointment with Dominique as well, same blow dry. This time I had to pay $57! At the moment I thought it was too much, but I wanted to check my credit card statement at home before complaining about the price, to be sure it was more than what I paid in October. So, I called the store and apparently Dominique was not there, but I explained everything and they said she was going to call me. I even asked if they raised their prices and that person never answered any of my questions. Of course, Dominique never called nor a manager, nobody. There are great salons in the area and a blow dry place very close in the Avalon, so I won't be coming back after this incident. I can't trust my hair to her. And I will keep driving to Buckhead for highlights, haircuts, etc because my stylist there is amazing and very professional. This location in Alpharetta is a huge dissapointment! read more

I do not recommend using the salon. I went in asking to get my hair trimmed and left with a mullet. The hair stylist did not listen to what I wanted, she seemed to do her own thing at my expense.
