Drain King got back to me very quickly and also had the quickest time to get to me - about 5 hours. David arrived right in that window and got us going in a little over an hour. I'm keeping their contact info for the next time.

I usually come…read morehome, see my young daughter off to school and my wife off to work, perhaps do a couple of chores then I sleep during the day. This morning I did the brakes on my car so I was up a bit later than normal. When I went to use my toilet it was not flushing. Plunger, hand snake, and a garage full of water later, I'm in panic mode and tired. It's now close to 2:00pm on a Friday and I'm worried about who I can get out here on short notice... and how much this is going to cost me. I searched for a few plumbers based on reviews and proximity, and Dave from Drain Kings was one of them. Dave's very nice wife answered the phone and she informed me he was currently at a job, but would call him. He was at my place within an hour and a half. He came out anticipating a snake job but after diagnosing he found a substantial clog in my pipes and got elbows deep into a big mess and cleared it all out. He saved me $100 dollars on the call. He easily could have snaked the lines and charged me much more, but he was upfront and honest. He gave me some tips on how to prevent future clogs, and guaranteed his work for ninety days. Meaning if a snake is needed in the future the price will be offset by the charges from the work already performed. He was fun to speak with throughout the process too. I would definitely use Drain King again. I witnessed firsthand that the guy knows his shit. And I mean that literally.

I just wanted to get an idea on the estimate of the service and she said it's Saturday night and not going to sit here to explain the details for you. Dave arrived right on time and worked very diligiently; so professional and so polite. His boss, Rich, made a delivery for the extra parts he needed and his co-worker, Rob, arrived at about 4pm on a Friday to help him finish the job so I wouldn't have to wait. Excellent quality - beyond expectation. Dave also (thankfully) recommended some other work that would be needed soon so I'll definitely call again. I'll tell everyone I know to contact Executive Plumbing. Very fair prices combined with a strong work ethic. BTW - I called Executive Plumbing based on positive yelp reviews - after I'd waited for 2 weeks for my 'regular' plumber to call me back. He's not my 'regular' plumber anymore.

I got a call saturday afternoon they would come Monday, When I pushed to have it sooner, with lots of tone, he told me IT WAS THE WEEKEND. He then said they couldn't get my type of water heater. So no hot water, all weekend. They came today (Monday), after he installed it he asked me to sign. I said, the water is not hot yet, so how do I know it works before I sign. (Don't people want to know things work before they sign?) His response was "you will sign or I will make SURE it doesn't work." Reluctantly, I signed. Also, they drained the old one. There was already water there from the leaking but they left it much worse than it was. I would think a plumbing company would shop vac their mess up? Not a great experience. Seems others have had a good experience given their comments.

Owner David Cioto, who has been in the drain and sewer business for 29 years, responded very quickly to my urgent call when my basement sink started backing up with waste water. He said that every time I flushed the toilet on the first floor, toilet paper and waste was gurgling up in the old soapstone basement sink. Yuck. David was very knowledgeable and explained to me that there could be multiple clogs in several lines. He said that a U-shaped pipe was in the sewer line, which needed an eel (not a snake) to clear. He snaked (eeled???) the sewer line 88 feet to the town sewer line. He also found two major clogs underneath the sink itself, and where the sink pipe was meeting the sewer line. As a bonus, he adjusted my toilet and gave me lessons on how to prolong flushes and keep sink water running to clear the pipes. Nice small family-run business. It's basically David as the main sewer/drain person (with some occasional help) and his wife answering phones. My first impression of David was that he was a bit of a bull in a China shop (LOL) - because he's kind of loud and fast with his work. He was very focused on getting the job done and not one, initially, for chitter chatter. But later he calmed down and told me stories of his daughters and his business. Nice guy. Note that my regular plumber could not clear the very deep clogs that I had. So, a drain person was needed. David said that he could not do what a plumber does. And many plumbers don't want to do what David does. His work is guaranteed for three months. I would definitely call Drain King again. P.S. I saw a random bad review of work done by a former employee of Drain King. David said that employee has not worked for him for five years.
