This little shop is located off South Blvd right past Tyvola. It's easy to miss, so pay attention…read more I've been taking clothing here for a while, the owners usually work the counter and are pretty nice. This place is small, and HOT! So when I visit, I try to get in and out. All of the cleaning is done on-site and usually within 2 days. They charge $2.49 per item (used to be $1.99). I have stopped taking jeans here, as they kept shrinking them. I take slacks, button ups and blouses only. If I'm in need of quick, cheap cleaning, I'll come here. Otherwise, I'll continue going to the cleaners in Ballantyne.

Every place I called was not able to accommodate me and I can't blame them as I waited until the weekend before I was leaving basically I needed my comforter cleaned same day. On a Saturday :/ finally I got ahold of the nicest lady at American dry cleaners and she let me know she wasn't sure if they could have it done that fast as they usually take about 3-4 days on household items especially king size comforters but that she would check with the staff. She came back and let me know that they would be happy to get it done for me and the icing on top for me was that they even ended up having a better price! This place has been open in Charlotte since 1921 and for good reason! Great customer service amazing work too my comforter looked brand spankin new! They have a small parking lot out front and are open all week and Saturday's closed Sunday's and they have some coupons available here on yelp! Def check them out!

I have never had an issue with this cleaners and my clothes have always been handled with care and come out crisp and clean. I have also had alterations done here, so this location does more than just clean your clothes. One great plus is that they have same day service Monday-Friday if your clothes are dropped by 9:30a and if not, than they will be ready the next day! So why the 3 stars? Well, the prices always seem to change, it's a tad dirty (ironic for a cleaners, I know), they sometimes don't want to take cash, and they get lazy with wanting to set up new accounts if someone in your same household already has an account. The main service of cleaning/altering my clothes gets 5 stars, but the other factors decreased their score. If you live in the area and want to try them out, go ahead. I approve.

Anyways, to get to my point, my husband has all his shirts custom made and tailored ($$$) and we've been often disappointed by the treatment other dry cleaners have given his very special special clothes. After the third place ruined another shirt ($$$$) through its third-party cleaning facility, we finally asked his tailor which service he would recommend. He said, hands down, V-Cleaners. V-Cleaners does all of it's drycleaning and alterations in house. Your clothes are always ready by the next day after 3pm, the prices are VERY affordable, and the couple who runs the place are so sweet. The problem? They are located 30 minutes away from our home and their parking lot is impossible for my truck to fit, so I have to often get creative... and I'm a horrible driver.
