I read lots of amazing reviews on Mundae and requested a service. They were so responsive and talked me through the process. It wasn't long before someone came out to take several tests that consist of an air sample outside and inside and an actual sample of the mold, and a walk around to see if they spot more mold anywhere else. The report came back quick and scheduling of the mold remediation was quick. 3 workers were sent and it took half a day total since it was just our upstairs that needed it. Everyone we encountered was friendly, kind, and informative. Responsive whether it was text, phone call, or email. Appreciate the speediness in which the issue was resolved and felt very pleased with the service. Also I can report back that since then no more mold has appeared. I highly recommend them and have their info saved in case I need them in the future but honestly I hope I really don't.

Ted at TruOrganic Restoration did a wonderful job doing mold remediation at our house. Due to an…read moreimproper installation of a French door we were left to pick up the pieces regarding a water leak which turned into damage in the form of mold. What a nightmare to go through. But with the help and direction of Ted, we were really lucky to have his expert opinion and experience. Ted has worked in the industry for over ten years and we were referred to him by 1st rate inspections. Ted, gave us the best quote on remediation and worked with my husband and I on different options to alleviate and remediate the mold. We were concerned because we had a baby in the house but did not want to break the bank but TruOrganic worked relentlessly with us. They were available day and night to answer all of the questions we had. The remediation took place and we have since run a repeat mold report with the outside company 1st Rate Inspections and once again the house has been restored to its original safe levels! We are so grateful to be back in our house. Thank you Ted for all that you do!

In these tough times when so many of us experience weather-related damages (frozen pipes from snowpocalypse for my 80-year old parents), and all the contractors have long waiting lists and low service levels, TruOrganic is the perfect business to work with. There's a certain kind of person who knows their craft really well and has to execute to perfection to satisfy themself. That's who Ted is, and you can tell from the start-- his meticulous attention to detail shines, and it's great to get to talk with the business owner (i.e. the most knowledgeable person) about a job as sensitive as mold remediation at your parents' home. I called three of the big commercial companies, had 2 no shows (they're so busy, I guess?) and the one job estimator that came out clearly didn't have any knowledge beyond the surface (especially about chemicals and mold risks) and was barely trained on taking measurements--if at all. It still took a week to get back a cookie-cutter bid that didn't acknowledge the specifics I asked about in person. Ted came out and had a clear itemized bid to me the same evening. He went above and beyond to help as we navigated the insurance settlement process, and TruOrganic's rates ended up being really competitive with the cookie-cutter companies that use cheap/toxic chemicals. Ted's care, effort and thorough supervision of work in my elder parents' felt as if a family member was doing it--culturally sensitive. If you've already talked to Ted and are reading this review to help decide if you want to go with TruOrganic, then you probably already have a sense for some of the qualities I mentioned, and I'm glad to help you confirm they're the right choice.

Both men wore masks, were pleasant, professional, and did an excellent job of protecting my home and furniture. Kyle did the interior cleaning; poor thing was attacked by a couple of wasps. He sucked them into the vacuum like a champ. Henry inspected the exterior and showed me where I had separation in the brick between the building and the chimney. The interior also had cracking. They briefly left to get the right color paint for the inside of my fireplace. Upon their return, the cracks were efficiently sealed and the inside freshly painted. One last wasp entered my home as they were packing to leave. They were prepared with wasp spray and made sure it was dead before leaving. As many people know, I am hugely involved in the animal rescue community. I foster & rescue animals…read more&I have done so for years. Therefore, if you have animals in your home, & want to keep your home clean & smelling nice, you know, like I do, the importance of using a reputable carpet cleaning company who values their customers. Never in a million years did I think that Upfront Home Service would do me dirty like this after all of our years of working together but I guess that's what happens when a company gets GREEDY. They forget that it is their long time customers who helped them to succeed. Recently, we scheduled a move out carpet cleaning with a few patch repairs. At first, I thought everything was going great until I saw the one patch job. We brought it to the technicians attention & he said that was the absolute best patch that could be done. I didn't agree but waited until it dried. After he left, I went upstairs and noticed that the scent that is usually very pleasant after carpet cleaning was not there but instead the stench of dirty water was present & extremely strong. This was not the norm in past jobs with them so I immediately knew something was not right. I called the office & asked them to send someone over right away to see the job that was done and to smell the odor. I thought Rachel was going to send over a supervisor to check things out the next day but all that came over was a regular technician with a can of deodorizer to mask the odor. I thought they would have redid carpet & fixed the patch but that was not the case. Mind you, my circumstances have never changed during the 9 years I have used Upfront Home Services I have always had animals, & yes, animals have accidents. There was no more or less than the norm. After they cleaned my carpet, the carpet smelt great each time, so they cannot say it was my fault or point fingers. If they had only come out to see for themselves what I was referring to after I asked them to, they would have seen & smelt what I was talking about but they chose not to. A few days after this took place, & after I had a few moments to myself after moving State to State, I wrote an email to the owner, Joseph Pais expressing my concern & instead of reaching out to me personally, he had someone by the name of Daniel Guida call on his behalf. He seemed nice at the time & said he would send someone over to fix. I explained to him that the second visit should have handled this & that we no longer had access to the home. We moved out. I told him we had spent almost $1000 on this work & the least they could do since they didn't fix any of it on second visit was to maybe refund us something. Maybe 15-20 percent of the cost since the job was not done right & no one thought it necessary to stop by next day to see what we were talking about. Well a week later, Daniel did not call me back so I sent a follow up Text to him yesterday. I saw that he read my text but didn't feel he should be professional & reply. I then sent another email to the owner, this morning, & he had the nerve to offer me a refund of $50 & a $300 credit if we ever returned to Texas & needed carpet cleaning. We moved to Florida 2 weeks ago AND WHY DO I NEED TO WAIT TO RETURN TO GET A CREDIT? REFUND ME NOW. THE JOB STILL SUCKS!!!!! If Joseph or Daniel had come to the house, they would have witnessed first hand our complaints & the odor we had after they cleaned it along with the really bad patch job. If our 9 years of business means nothing to them & they insult me by offering me a $50 refund after spending almost $1000 on this past job, then they can keep it. Apparently, they need the money more than I do. Keep this in mind if you need to hire a company to clean your carpet, tile, etc. If my 9 years of business meant absolutely nothing to them, how do you think they will treat you or your home?

Update: I received a call from the owner, Mr. Shawn,…read moreregarding my concerns, and he noted my issues with price communication and actual pricing. I gave him recommendations for future customer questions such as: 1. Have a written price estimate of the actual jobs that could be done before the work begins. 2. Purchase an inexpensive camera that shows the customer (and the technician) that the duct is clear and there is no damage to the tubing from bottom all the way to the outside. 3. Before the work begins, there will be a charge for using a credit card. I appreciate the owners concern, his communication, and his offer for a partial refund.

ZERO stars. This company and its workers are CON MEN and prey on the elderly. Sean went out to my…read morerelative's house for mold removal and restoration. He was demanding and relentless with pricing and forcing them out of their house for 2 weeks! There was never a contract or itemized cost of the work to be done...only prices scratched down on a notepad. He also stated he had to be paid a portion in advance. True professionals have working capital! There were no before and after pictures taken or shown to the homeowners. Don't pay for work that hasn't been done. When he was "finished" and he was paid, he came up with "now you owe the tax on the total amount". This was not stated in the original price negotiations or in writing. Also, he said something needed to be installed in the attic and "he works with someone who does it." How convenient, right? I am sure there are kickbacks on that and the amount was going to be another $3k! Spare yourself panic, anxiety and financial stress - NEVER USE THESE CRIMINALS! A true professional is now inspecting the house and a police officers check by the house throughout the day, so this person does not attempt to harass this family ever again.

I'm 6'1", and since purchasing my home in 2015, I've never felt comfortable using the master shower because it was simply too small for me. I primarily used my guest shower because it offered more space. I can literally count on two hands how many times I've used my master shower over the years--and since I don't take baths at all, the tub was basically wasted space. When I explained my vision to Geovanny, I told him I wanted to remove the tub, extend the shower, and create a spacious, spa-like feel. Boy, did he deliver! He took the vision I had in my head and brought it to life beautifully. The new shower feels completely different--open, comfortable, luxurious, and exactly what I wanted. The renovation did take longer than we initially anticipated, but the finished result was well worth the wait. Quality work takes time, and I'm extremely happy with the final product. I've worked with Geovanny on several other projects throughout my home, and he delivers top-notch results every single time. He has definitely become my go-to person for home projects. 10/10 -- I highly recommend Geovanny and City & Beyond Handyman Services, and I will absolutely continue using him for future projects!
