I hired CLC Total Electric Service to install a NEMA 14-50 outlet for my Level 2 EV Charger in the garage and they took care of it in just 4-5 hours. Gabe was the one whom I initially spoke to about the project and Gilbert was the one who did the installation and they were professional and did a nice job. My circuit panel was far from the garage (where the outlet would be) but it wasn't a big deal for them and they were able to relocate some breakers in my panel to the sub-panel to make space for the double-pole 50A breaker for the NEMA 14-50 Outlet. Would consider using them again in the future. read more

I called multiple electricians and Gabe was the most professional and courteous. I was amazed at how many simply didn't return my messages (multiple attempts at that!) I wanted an outdoor motion-sensor floodlight with security camera installed outside my garage, and I was able to book Gabe a couple days out. He was prompt, confirmed the work that needed to be done, and was friendly. A junction box was installed inside my garage without any issues. He even made sure I was able to connect to the camera successfully on my phone before he left. CLC Total Electric is the complete package - professional, courteous, fair pricing, and most of all, does the job correctly and successfully! read more

CLC responded quickly. We had two requests: Reassemble a burned out outlet (this was the easy one, and Gabriel completed that part quickly and effectively). Part two involved fixing a set of burned out patio lights. The problem could have been due to any number of things, but again Gabriel diagnosed the problem quickly. He had to return to the shop to get a relacement for a defunct auto-light sensor. He returned quickly and wrapped up the project. Rates were in the middle. Very pleased with the service, and would hire them again. read more

We just moved into our new home and lost electricity in my home office on a Sunday night with a quick need to get it working again so I could work the next day. Gabe responded to my yelp request right away and came out the next day to look at the problem. Not only did he fix the issue in the room, he was also kind enough to check out other areas of the house that could have been affected and ensure all the wiring was done correctly. Overall I can't recommended CLC enough. Fast response, great service and a very fair price for the work! We'll definitely be using them in the future. read more

CLC total electric helped us wire and instal a chandelier in a dining room that previously didn't have any overhead lighting. It was a big project because there wasn't an easy way to access and wire but they did an incredible job explaining everything to us and walking through options. Everyone was so responsible and respectful and we felt the quote was reasonable too. They also recommended another contractor to help patch/paint where the drywall had to be replaced (necessary for this type of project) and he was awesome too. Overall we are SO pleased with CLC total electric and will use them again! read more

So I had a serious grounding issue and Gilbert rushed right over. I was experiencing some arcing and it was a serious safety issue. Some quick thinking and 30 minutes later my hone was rendered safe. Turns out my breaker box was old and no longer safe so they set an appointment and changed it out. I am planning on some extensive remodeling work and the only people I would have come out to do the work is CLC. Are they the only people who are reliable? Probably not but I didn't have time to research a lot of candidates. Luckily, they are honest and reliable so it was a very easy decision. If you need to have electrical work done, call Gabe. Fantastic, quick, clean, service. This company is the one you're looking for, they aren't there to mess around and poke holes in your wall and leave you with a lot of clean up, nor will they let you do something stupid and expensive. It's been a long search, but I've finally found an electric service company I know I can rely on. Highly highly recommend. read more

A very quick response to help with a project I started that had gone awry. Really appreciate the prompt and professional response.

They did a super job at my house yesterday. Recommend them to anyone needing a job done. Real nice guy.

I needed a few electrical things fixed/hooked up around the house. I looked up CLC, saw their ratings, and contacted them right away. So glad I did. Gabe responded very quickly. He was wonderful and patient with all my questions. I was surprised with a very fair quote. Speedy and professional work done by tech Gil. One job was at the peak of my attic for a fan connection, with only joists to work on! Both men were very kind. I'd highly recommend them for any electrical work. read more

CLC came out to check some issues noted on out home inspection. I originally contacted a different company through Yelp, but Gabe replied super fast and Gilbert came out the next day. He quickly completed all of the items needed and even taught me some valuable lessons on how to keep the electricity in a safe state. Awesome service! read more

Buyer beware. Asked owner to change under cabinet lighting product half way through install that he was supplying so to get better and more even lighting. All I got was attitude with eye rolls and resistance. Then he wanted to change contract to work already completed. He also thought I was being picky when complaining about drill marks inside brand-new cabinets. They also did work differently than discussed prior to work started when running electric to the kitchen island. The only possible resolve for any of my dissatisfaction was to be charged additional money. He had no problem taking FULL payment with no resolve and leaving a very Unhappy Customer. In response to owner's comments - WOW, I ordered new lights and paid for them separately, that I asked him to use on area that was not yet started, but he wanted to adjust contract for work already completed. Also, the discount was negotiated prior to acceptance of the estimate. read more

Gabe and Gilbert were very fast, reliable, and knowledge. Great at explaining what needed to be done and doing it quickly and affordably. CLC did a fantastic job on my ev charger installation. Gabe gave me a quote based on photos I sent him. Gilbert showed up at 8am on the day we agreed on. He explained everything he did in full detail. He was very careful to avoid making a mess. He cleaned up what little mess he did make. After the install he tightened all the loose connections in my circuit panel and replaced a switch and outlet in the house that was acting up, all for the price quoted to install the charger. I can't recommend them highly enough. Hire CLC if you want the job done right and for a reasonable price. read more

Professional and expert understanding. Able to trouble shoot a problem another electrician couldn't. Would definitely call again.

The three things you want from any service: honesty, knowledge and punctuality! Had 3 outlets go out and needed a light fixture replaced. Gabe responded to initial contact very promptly. Gilbert came out to perform the service (on time to the minute). The service was performed well, and within the schedule provided. The cost to fix the outlets came in lower than initially agreed, so the project price was reduced, even though I wouldn't have known (they could easily have charged the agreed price). Gilbert walked me through some of the typical maintenance tasks that should be done every couple years, which I had not known about prior to this visit. Thank you to the CLC team and especially Gilbert for the informative, prompt and great service! I am so glad that I contacted CLC and I highly recommend contacting them for your electric service needs. I know I will be contacting them every year or two to make sure my home is safe from electric accidents/malfunction! read more

I called and spoke with Gabe who asked to call me back in an hour, 48 hours later I have yet to receive a callback or a text.

They did a great job. So quick and thorough. our power would trip if we used several appliances in our kitchen at the same time. if we knew how painless and inexpensive the fix was, we'd have done it sooner. The electrician just changed some wiring in the breaker box and also tightened some wires that were loose. We feel so much safer and comfortable in our home. Thank you so much CLC Electric! read more
