Laporshia Robinson is a ROCKSTAR!! My wife and I are from out of state to visit my son for two days. My wife needs to return for pre surgery next week, but our car lost power as we approached Dallas. Laporshia had the diagnosis in short order and a plan for us to use a loaner vehicle while our engine is replaced under extended warranty. She not only took care of our business needs, but was kind and friendly in the process of her duties. We had to get a new vehicle after an accident and Christopher Wheeler could not have been nicer working with us! He really knew how to help us! He met us outside on a warm summer afternoon in July and was able to answer our questions and show us all the vehicles he had over about 2 hours. We had been around Dallas for weeks looking at different vehicles and dealers and he was a breath of fresh air as far as salesmen. He was just thoughtful and not pushy or constantly asking "how can I sell you a car today ". Just patient and confident about his products and knew all the ins and outs. A week or so later when we finally decided what my daughter wanted, we had no issue with the purchase process and picked it up the next day. Then Christopher took us for a very exciting and informative test drive! We drilled him with questions and he was able and happy to answer everything and offer ideas about features that we did not even know nor understand! Ongoing Speaker Issues & Poor Customer Service I purchased a Kia Telluride from Clay Cooley Kia of Irving on December 14, 2024. Within two weeks, the rear speaker sounded blown. I've taken the car in three times--each time, they say it's fixed, but each time, it blows again within minutes of driving off. The process of getting parts and scheduling service is disjointed and frustrating. The sales manager, Rene G., even told me that if I wasn't happy, I should "try a different Kia dealership." Not the response you want after spending thousands on a new vehicle. If they don't fix this, this will be my last Kia and my last time doing business with Clay Cooley. read more

Overall, they are helpful and try to make things work for me anytime I've had a problem. They for the most past acknowledge and follow through with my request when I get service done. They do what they can to help make it stress free. Sometimes they can help, other times they are over booked with work and it becomes an issue for any immediate things that need to be taken care of. My AVN unit went out and I was subject to predatory pricing. I was told that my unit would be $7,100 to replace. $6,500 of which were for parts and that I had to pay that up front to even order the parts to begin service. I looked on Kia Parts website and saw the part I needed was listed MSRP for $5,820.80. It also had a 34% discount attached which brought the total down to $3,834.74. I called the service department to confirm the part number and it was indeed the correct part. I then questioned the service rep that answered on why I was being charged so much. She put me on hold for about 5mins and when she returned told me ,"she wasn't sure what happened, there must have been a glitch in the pricing, that kind of thing happens." I asked her what the new total would be based on what I found online and she stated the MSRP amount of $5,820.80. I asked why I would be charged that amount if I can purchase the exact part from Kia's parts website with a 34% discount? She said, "we get charged the MSRP." So, Kia gets charged the MSRP but anybody off the street can order the same part from the same place for 34% off? She said I had to pay that MSRP to continue service. I declined. I bought a unit myself online and had it put in by Kia service, with a labor charge of $241. If you are quoted any price for parts, I would recommend checking yourself because this was egregious! Had I not picked up my car that Friday & paid for service, I would've been ripped off for thousands of dollars. I found the part myself online for $700 with a warranty. So that was less than $1000 total but I was quoted seven times that price. There was, "nothing can be done". The manager, Lionel, never followed back up with me on ways to help with the pricing situation. PLEASE DOUBLE CHECK ALL PART QUOTES FOR YOURSELF!! BIG Clay Cooley KIA customer loyalty miss. Existing customer, took my car in for a Recall Notice repair. Unfortunately, they had been affected by the Cyber Attack that shut down 17,000 declares nationwide. Somehow, I was one of the few who did not get the dealer call cancelling my appointment, so I showed up on time. NO big deal, it happens. I then asked that, for my troubles, time and gas coming here, and you guys don't letting me know you couldn't perform the work, how about you program my new extra key for the same price as Batteries, Etc. ($89). Service writer went to ask manager, and got "best we can do is $165 or so (I'm pretty sure that is rack rate). Everyone there was nice and cordial, but beyond that, didn't seem to care a wit that they had just wasted an hour of my time, and at least a couple gallons of gas. Anyone who has researched key programming, knows it takes the dealer less than 10 min, and that includes driving the car into the bay, doing the work, and driving it back out to the lot. Worse, they had a bunch of service writers and techs sitting around doing NOTHING, since their systems were down. It would have cost Clay Cooley ZERO $s to do the work, as they had nothing else to do. I'm pretty sure Clay Cooley spends $80/year marketing to me, based on all the cards and letters I get from him, which has very little impact on my conversion into a purchase. Had they said "Heck, for your trouble, we will do it for free", Clay would have had a customer for life. Now? Any dealer but Clay Cooley! read more
