They had an iPad at each station, which really made my experience here relaxing. I had a hard gel set on, and Tammy did mention how they'd have to start clean and remove this set. I was charged for removal, which I wasn't the greatest fan of. I asked Tammy for a classic nude, white ombré with a bit of glitter on top, and she delivered! This is probably the best set of ombré nails I've ever had done!!! I've had many nail techs say how ombré nails look better on longer nails, but Tammy made things work with the nail length I was comfortable with! I was a bit skeptical of the longevity since it wasn't the hard gel I'm used to, but this set legit lasted me over FOUR WEEKS (with the exception of one nail that had gel-ex on because of some previous nail damage)! If I were in the area more often, I'd go back to Buttercup in a heartbeat!!!! They are on the pricier side, but you'll be paying for quality IMO.

The service itself is great, which makes this review disappointing to write. Unfortunately, the reason for my 2-star rating is the manager, Anna. I have never met anyone who talks as much as she does. Every single visit, we are subjected to hours of nonstop, loud conversations. Most appointments last 2-3 hours, and somehow the talking never stops for even a few minutes. Sometimes customers simply want to relax, enjoy a quiet moment, or even just sit peacefully while getting their nails done. That seems impossible when there is a constant stream of loud commentary in the background. What's even more concerning is that she occasionally scolds employees in front of customers and frequently shares personal stories and gossip that customers never asked to hear. The salon should feel calm and welcoming, not like being trapped in someone else's never-ending conversation. To be clear, this review is not directed at the nail technicians or the quality of their work. They are the reason we keep coming back. In fact, if Anna's nonstop talking were not part of the experience, I would happily leave a 5-star review. I sincerely hope the owner takes this feedback into consideration. I showed her a picture of the nails I wanted, and she was able to replicate them perfectly. They came out exactly how I envisioned them. It was also my first time trying Gel-X nails, and I absolutely love them--I will definitely be getting Gel-X again! Crystal did my gel pedicure, and it also came out perfect. Both technicians were professional, friendly, and paid great attention to detail. I also loved their use of technology. The check-in process was simple, and I really appreciate that their system keeps track of your service history and the technicians you've seen. Unfortunately, the quality this time was very poor. I later found out they were not planning to charge me for the repair, but I was fully expecting to pay either way. It honestly felt like they did not put much effort into the service because it was going to be free. Instead of repairing the messy overflow into my cuticle, they gave me a buffer to repair myself. I still gave the nail tech a tip for her time. Very disappointed with the quality and experience. I may give them another try but it may take some time.
