The morning of my appointment, I received a call from NJ Refinishing Tile and Tub stating that they had to cancel my appointment and would be unable to provide service "because the boss refuses to go to downtown Jersey City". I canceled plans that I had that morning and expected to have my tub reglazed. Instead, I had to receive that phone call 30 minutes before they were scheduled to arrive. This company is unprofessional, unethical, and untrustworthy. The rep stated that "my boss goes to other part of Jersey City, but he won't go downtown -sorry." Don't bother conducting business with this company because they may discriminate against you based on where you live or not show up after they change their mind for no apparent reason. Maybe I should contact the Better Business Bureau? What a waste of a morning and waste of time contacting NJ Refinishing Tile and Tub. Do Not Support This Business.

Rashid came to my house (masked up) and gave me a reasonable estimate, hauled the table back to his shop and the finished product is STUNNING. It isn't always easy to remove damage from years of scratches and bad refinishing, so I was not sure what I would get back, but the table looks absolutely perfect. I am very particular when it comes to finish and sometimes mahogany can be finished to a high gloss, but the completed product is in the satin finish I specified and brings out the wood finish without being overly shiny. I strongly recommend this shop if you have antiques that you want redone. It's not a negative in my book, but don't expect your furniture back overnight. The work takes time, and I am glad I was patient and let the crew do their thing.
