Their guy was here for about 30 minutes taking measurements, asking questions, explaining the options, etc. He said he would get the estimate to me within a few days. Never received the estimate or any other follow-ups. Thanks for wasting my time you clowns.

And when I pushed at the end of the day, they hadn't even considered getting the pre-ordered carpet out of the warehouse and trying to have their installers come at the end of the day (it was a small Job). Then had the audacity to tell me I was "lucky they made a mistake on the estimate" and so they would honor their commitment to pricing rather than give a discount for their mistake. Terrible communication! Terrible service!

We recently had our floating stairway refinished by Premier Wood Renewal, and the results are…read moreoutstanding. Each step had deep scratches and years of dirt embedded in the crevices from the prior owners, and Eric and his worker Sam truly brought them back to life. The steps now look brand new. They sanded and applied polyurethane with absolutely no dust, completed the entire job in one day, and the stain was dry within just two hours. Their craftsmanship, efficiency, and attention to detail were impressive. I highly recommend Premier Wood Renewal for anyone looking for exceptional wood restoration work.

We had Premier Surface Pro come out to our home in North Arlington to assess scratches on our…read morehardwood floors. Initially we thought we would need to sand our floors as advised by previous company's that provided estimates. However, due to working from home, we didnt want to deal with the excessive dust through a sanding service that would have also taken 3 days to complete. So we reached out to Premier to come out to take a look. They came out and after assessing offered a specialized hardwood floor refinishing service at a fraction of the sanding cost. Premier was hired, came out the following week, and completed a hardwood refinishing service that was done in 6 hours. This company was a life saver. Will use again and refer.

I would give a 0 rating if I could. This is my first time ever leaving a review on Yelp - so that…read moreshows my level of disgust. I made an appointment to have my tub reglazed in my apartment in downtown Jersey City. The morning of my appointment, I received a call from NJ Refinishing Tile and Tub stating that they had to cancel my appointment and would be unable to provide service "because the boss refuses to go to downtown Jersey City". I canceled plans that I had that morning and expected to have my tub reglazed. Instead, I had to receive that phone call 30 minutes before they were scheduled to arrive. This company is unprofessional, unethical, and untrustworthy. The rep stated that "my boss goes to other part of Jersey City, but he won't go downtown -sorry." Don't bother conducting business with this company because they may discriminate against you based on where you live or not show up after they change their mind for no apparent reason. Maybe I should contact the Better Business Bureau? What a waste of a morning and waste of time contacting NJ Refinishing Tile and Tub. Do Not Support This Business.

It is a lot of work :)). I got golden oak, but not sure if I love it. maybe should have gone with the golden pecan. also, be aware though that the existing molding will likely get scratched and you might have to repaint it/touch it up. But thanks, we like the flooring and will consider Modi again for future floor projects
