Right before closing on our new house, I got a closer look at the floors in our soon-to-be home and I was not very happy. The beautiful original floors that had looked so good in pictures were, up close, full of scratches and dents. The second floor had strange buckling and had cracks in the floor. Not only that, but there was some sort of erroneously applied lacquer on top that was full of hair (???) for some reason. These were all problems that I did not know how to solve, but I I knew that if we did not get our floors done before we moved in, we probably wouldn't get them done at all. The thought of that made me extremely unhappy. Wix was able to come in, give an estimate, and start on a job in the tight window before our move in. They repaired, sanded, and refinished our floors. They even came earlier than expected so they could get started right away! They were prompt, efficient, and communicative. Now my floors are BEAUTIFUL. I bought a fix-me-upper with pine floors, some of which had glued on carpet covered by faux wood flooring. All the pine was still in its original state from the 1920s but worn pretty badly. I was concerned about the ability to remove the faux wood without damaging the already worn pine and also concerned about the ability to sand the remaining glue. All of my concerns were no problem for Wixflooring! Not only were they on time and professional, they did a remarkable job at a reasonable cost! Wixflooring's sand and stain is a much better solution than having new flooring applied! read more

Had a very good experience with these guys they refinish my floors last month, they're professionals, since first contact over the phone I was given a price from there they work out with me on scheduling the dates that I need it, when Leo arrived with his crew they were friendly, on time and most important my floors look awesome! I cannot say enough about Leo and his team at Wix Flooring. From the initial inquiry, the entire team was prompt, professional, and courteous. Leo was able to come and provide a quote very soon after our request. Leo's price was very competitive with the other quotes we received. Leo was realistic, clear, and honest with the plan and the process. We were able to test two stains and one combination of two colors and were happy that we did. Leo gave his opinion when we asked for it and it was obvious he was a highly educated veteran. Leo and his team began work late the next week and were finished within four days. They were all very friendly and professional, with a "no nonsense" approach, which I appreciated. Our house looks like a completely different house from what it was before. Our floors are amazing and I could not ask for more. Sara, in the office, frequently checked in with us and sent pictures. Everyone was highly responsive. I spent over a month doing research on flooring contractors. Wix was not only the most reasonably priced by far, but they were also the most responsive as they were reachable by both email and by text. Most other flooring places lost interest with me after they realized I didn't want to pay through the nose. I was able to verify that Wix had a good track record as there were plenty of positive reviews online & they actually have an Instagram page with updates on all of their recent work. When they came out to see our floors, their over the phone quote actually ended up being pretty accurate. We were given really good advice about how to best refinish our house, as it has different types of wood on each floor. I'm glad I had the input of somebody who knew what he was talking about before I started making decisions. The guys showed up on time & got the work done extremely fast. They also helped us rip out a stair railing I've been meaning to replace. Floors look awesome. We were going back and forth about whether it was worth it to redo them as they were in good shape, I just didn't like the old finish.
