Classy Nails on Fulton Avenue in Sacramento Isn't classy. Their website is deceptive. I booked an 11 o'clock appointment for a pedicure using their website and received a confirmation from them, but when I arrived, I was told they do not take online bookings, but they have left their Website as it is because it's "too much trouble" to fix. Their Incompetence resulted in me wasting an entire morning when I drove to see them for my so-called appointment only to learn that it did not exist and that they were "too busy" to take me. Do yourself a favor. Find yourself a nail spa that knows what it's doing and can actually keep it commitments. read more

Classy nails is a big NO for me. Will never come back here and won't recommend them to anyone else. This location provided better customer service and nail services when it was Angie's Nails. The guy there has no understanding of customer service. He doesn't even speak to you. No smile. No hello. No welcome. He just sits around with disgruntled energy. The older woman doing my nails is non-verbal with clients. Only speaks to the man whom I believe may be her husband. No smile. BEST PEDICURE EVER! Came here last min and the young man that did my pedicure (sorry can't remember his name, but he's the younger man). He was super attentive, gentle and did not miss anything. He used all organic products my feet and skin was hella soft. To top it all off I got a deep tissue massage on my legs and feet! Give them a try you won't be disappointed. She saw i had a fungus on my toe and still went ahead and put acrylic on my toe so i can Match the other toe & the acrylic was so sloppy and uneven. Came here on a Groupon many months ago and have been returning ever since. Julie is fantastic and really values the needs of her customers. The other employees are great too and very hard workers. The shop is very clean and comfortable and she has a tv. There is plenty of parking which is a huge plus for me since my last nail shop was downtown and I always had to pay for parking. The prices are very reasonable and the service is fast but not careless. The nail designers are very detailed in their work. This is my all time fav nail place! I am very picky about where I go to get my nails done. Before I knew about this place I went to a salon on Watt and my nails came off in 3 days here a set lasts a month and they're so beautiful I get compliments everywhere I mean everywhere I go by all types of people too. All the nail technicians take their time and don't rush you like most shops. They are perfectionist and it shows. Julie is amazing and funny and is extremely talented she's done tons of art and being in my nails as well the male technician is superb. I'm always skeptical with trying out a new nail salon because I don't know if I will get my monies worth. I've been to this salon a few times and I have never left unsatisfied. The salon is clean, they have a huge selection of colors, and love that they have wine! The price is reasonable for the service that you are getting. The stuff that they use on you are all brand new and if you ask them, you can take the pumice and file home because they'll throw it out anyway. Julie and staff are very attentive to your needs. Totally unprofessional! I had made an appointment and when I get there the owner was extremely rude and had told me that she had GIVEN AWAY MY APPOINTMENT to someone else! She repeatedly told me she called me HOURS after to tell me but she didn't and I had no missed calls from her. She didn't try to even reschedule an appointment. DO NOT GO HERE! I made an appointment based off the photos but whoever did those must not work here anymore. I came for my appointment and the male technician who had my appointment ignored me while he finished his smoke break then came in stinking of cigarettes. I needed my old nails removed because several had broken/cracked but he tried to convince me to leave the unbroken ones clearly so he'd have less work to do. He started to take off one broken nail and instead of soaking he tried to pry it off with his nasty dirty fingernail! When that didn't work he tried to file it down to my nail and I made him stop when I was about to bleed. I walked out of there before the disaster could continue. I will be reporting them because I'm pretty sure it is against state board regulations to try to remove someone's nails with your fingernails because it's not sanitary! I used to live out this way, but moved off of Greenback Way in Sacramento. It's a bit of a travel, but I purposely come to Classy Nails because of the cleanliness and extreme sanitizing lengths the business provides. The owner is Julie, and we have spoken numerous times regarding how many businesses til this day continue reuse their products, not throwing out the plastic bags that cover the foot soaking, not sanitizing the instruments after every use. We all know someone with a horror story of getting an infection after getting a pedicure! Julie throws out every plastic bag and keeps the instruments sanitized after every use. She thinks she know everything there is to know about the clients nails. If you ask or tell her something you don't like she insist your a complainer. She has no class! She raised the price on me and then left and had a employee tell me how much it was, when she could have conveyed the change to me while doing my nails. Really great staff but the clientele is GHETTO!! Went in for a pedicure tonight and felt unsafe. 2 men stinking like marijuana came in and were bossing the staff around. Took control of the remote control on the TV and were using profanity talking on their speaker phones. One even had the lady take his pedicure water out w a cup and refill it w warm water. Their gang looking friend came in and laid down in a chair making the entire experience anything but relaxing. Also when my pedicure got started she left me for almost an hour to re-do the lady before me.
