After some mimosas at OCK, I convinced my guy friend to get a pedicure with me. We didn't have an appointment but hoped for the best. Thankfully they were able to take us despite being almost at capacity. Upon entering the store, you'll notice right away that it's not some fancy nail salon. The interior and decor definitely seemed a bit outdated, but nothing that looked questionable. What I was really impressed with right off the bat was their excellent customer service. Their employees were all genuinely nice and even joked along with the fact that it was my friend's first ticklish pedicure. The pedicure was fairly priced and done well, but I do wish they offered upgrades! read more

This is the best salon in the South Bay. They are taking COVID precautions, masks, gloves, and plexiglass between the tech and the customer. Everyone is so nice and they do an amazing job. Please support this business if you need a manicure or pedicure. You'll be so glad you did. Located in the Pruneyard so there's parking. Jack, Rosie, Annie, and Tiffany are the techs working most days. They are all awesome. You can't go wrong. Make an appointment today and support this local business. read more

I went in to get a full acrylic set about 3 weeks ago after my current set finally gave way due to my nail salon closed due to covid. Was so happy to find their unique set up outside. The asian gentleman was available and I'm so happy he was! He did a great job (I'm so picky!) and took his time to apply the tips correctly. He spoke English very well and we were able to hold a conversation about the 2020 shitshow. I'm a bit reserved, but I was comfortable and surprisingly chatty with him! I will defend be back for my fills. I'm on mid-week 4 and I have no problems which is surprising since I'm so hard on my nails. I highly recommend this spot, and yes, you will pay a bit more due to the location, but every cent was worth it read more

Great place to escape from it all and not have to make small talk with beauticians. They do the job and let you zone out on their massage chairs. Wish Classy Nails had a Santa Clara location. read more

I have been a regular for 3.5 years. The owner & technicians are pleasant, accommodating & always do an amazing job!!!! Customer service is their speciality, they strive to give you that 5 star experience. I've been coming here long enough to see people take advantage of them. I've even paid for a random women's pedi & mani. She was rude & miss treating everyone. I think she was a scam artist at the end of the day. Your nail polish might ding on the way out. It happens, they will easily fix in a heart beat if you just let them know. Shop & support local read more

I like the people here, this isbky second time here, the owner is super nice and my first visit was good. so I feel a bit bad writing this but there is a couple things I must note from my latest visit that i hope the owner wi read and fix. 1. The gel I chose, felt like a false advertisement. I essentially chose from the nail sample color set, this one was a dark purple with some foil coating, looked super pretty and that's what I wanted. Near the end I noticed no foil coating, to which they said it would be 5 dollars extra per finger to do that. I really wish they told me the foil top was not a part of the deal when I picked it, otherwise I would have went for something else. So I was a bit disappointed and ended up not getting the foil. 2. The instruments for nail salons should always be sanitized after use from what I understand otherwise there is a risk of infection, however the lady that did my nails opened what I thought was a clean pack, I didnt question it, but after she was done with my nails got a new sanitary pack opened it and placed the instruments inside it..and resealed it. almost like it was just for show and not sanitized. This made me feel a bit uneasy. Especially since she cut my finger pretty deep on the pinky and now I have to make sure it's not going to be infected. (Its not, I made sure to clean the wound when I got home) It was late and close to their closing time, so maybe it was just a last min fix for them, but I really think those 2 things need to be fixed before I consider returning. read more

classy Highly stylish; elegant. -Dictionary.com Okay...just had to look up the word 'classy' to make sure I remembered the definition correctly. Unfortunately, not too much classiness going on at the Classy Nails. It's your run-of-the-mill, San Jose area nail shop. You know, the cookie cutter version of the bazillian other nail shops that you find in every strip mall in San Jose. This one just happens to be smack dab in the center of the Pruneyard, which means if you find good parking it could bring you to tears. Small selection of nail colors. Although I wasn't getting a pedi, they didn't have the cool chair/foot spas so that's a negative. They did have a flat screen TV that I was having fun watching until one of the women (I suspect it was the owner) starting yapping on the phone, at ear piercing volumes, in her native language. Hey, yap away. Just do it quietly so I can hear the TV. Don't interrupt me proving how smart I am by answering all the 'Cash Cab' questions correctly. Sheesh. There are too many options for nail shops to settle for Not So Classy Nails 3. read more

I had an appointment and when I walked in the guy/owner showed me to the colors and then the pedicure station. However, like Jan P. said, I was not impressed by having to sit with my feet soaking in water for 18 minutes until someone was free to help me. My gf was getting her nails done so she had her back to me and could not see that I was not being attended to or she would have told them in Vietnamese that that was not cool. The lady working on me was in her 50's perhaps. She does not give a good massage and did not exfoliate my feet enough. She looks bored. The hot towel was nice but that's about the only thing I liked. I had to tell her 3 times how I wanted my toes painted. I picked 2 glittery colors and wanted each of my big toes to have one of the colors and the little toes to have the opposite color. She asked the other nail tech and she still didn't get it. Then, her next appointment walks in. All of a sudden she is in a rush. I dont mind if someone paints my nails quickly, but if so, then do a good job! Instead she paints all over my skin and then wipes the paint with her finger. She rushes with the top coat and I have to ask her to use the paint brush to remove the polish from my skin. Then as she is putting my flip flop on a piece of tissue attaches to my toe. She attempts to take it off with a nail clipper and when she finally succeeds she merely paints over the dip she made and sends me on my way. I can't believe I tipped her. Upon closer review I notice now that she missed parts of my nail ;( and the color is already chipping... Needless to say, I won't be coming back. read more

I love this place! I have tried so many salons in the area, and this one is without a doubt, my favorite! They ladies are friendly and nice, and more importantly, they do a fantastic job! My pedicures last quite awhile without chipping, or breaking. Another thing I appreciate: when I had a broken toe, I asked them to please be careful..and...they actually were. Another salon, (after being told the same thing) twisted my poor baby toe around like a top, causing it to hurt for weeks after. Maybe it was a language barrier, but I've never t been back after that. Classy Nails is also immaculate, and reasonably priced. The parking can be a pain, but it's well worth it. read more

Blah. I will not be coming back here. My sister wanted to go somewhere a little nicer than your typical nail salon for her pre-wedding pampering so we went here. She tried to call to make an appointment for the four of us several weeks in advance and they just told her "oh it's too soon to make an appointment, just call closer to the day." So she called again on Monday of that week and they told her again it was too soon and to call the day before. For a bride this is super stressful! Nothing worse than trying to plan out all of your wedding stuff and to have someone not schedule you because it's inconvenient for them. How hard is it to write down that you have four women coming in on a Friday so you don't get booked up? Then when we did the actual nails I was just not impressed. I got gel and several of my nails were filed down length wise too far, making them look short and stubby. My nails were pretty long when I came in. Plus a bunch of them were crooked!! Less than 1 week later the gel nails were already peeling so I just pulled them off with ease. I know they try not to file down too far to damage your nails but they should at LEAST last 2 weeks. They kept trying to upsell my sister do to gel too, even though she has super healthy nails that she didn't want to damage and also had her color picked out months in advance. For somewhere that is supposed to be at a bit of a higher level, Classy Nails did not hit the mark for me. Will skip next time. read more

NEVER will I ever come here again. $30 (not including tip) for shellac that lasted not even a week?? With knowing that filing the nail after shellac makes it peel, I told her not to file. She insisted she "do a little to make better" and she just started filing. Well what do you know 3 days later it's lifting, and lifting leads to chipping off, now my nails look horrible and I just wasted $30, not including tip. Their plan worked, like it does at EVERY nail salon, file it, it'll lift and the client will come back to get them done again. Well I won't be going here any more, I'll go elsewhere, thanks! *it was Gelish brand shellac too which I've had last up to 3 weeks before so that's how I know it was their technique. Check out the photos I uploaded as well. read more

I used to go to Classy Nails in the 90's until moving from the Bay Area. I had moved back but went to another spot. i was so happy when over in the Campbell area to see the same wonderful owners Jack and Annie. They knew me right away and how I like things:) That made me feel spacial now they are my old / New regular spot. Based on the comments from some of the recent reviews i would say that was a competitor not a customer. read more

I went to at least 5 nail salons before going to this one. I wanted to find a good place for a pedicure. Its clean, all the girls are good. I don't have to ask for the same person each time because they all consistently do the same quality work. They are all friendly and I hardly have any wait time, even when I walk in. They even stayed late for me on a Sunday near closing time! On top of all that, the price is good for all of the above, $25.00. They also take credit cards! I recommend them all the time!! read more

I love this nail salon and all the ladies in it! This place was recommended by a friend of mine but I thought that $25 for a pedi was a bit steep because I can usually get a good one for $18-20. But I wanted to give it a try, so I went in. After my first experience, I knew I would be back. I got the mani/pedi and loved it. They all do such a wonderful job, taking their time to pamper you. When they massage your legs, they do it for a good 3-4 minutes on each leg. Then they use hot towels and wipe down your legs and....well, you get the idea. I was just in yesterday and I spent a good 70 minutes in the chair with them working on me for 60 of those minutes. Very relaxing. So if you don't have to be anywhere in a hurry, please stop in and check this place out. One last thing- everything is clean and the massage chairs work great. :) read more

Seems to be a popular n pretty busy. The lady that did my pedi did an ok job. She really didn't clean my cuticles well & the way she applied the polish, not like a professional (maybe still learning). But if you know who to go to, you should be good. I could tell some of the other ladies were good by how they worked on the others customers. read more

This is hands down my favorite nail place from Santa Cruz to San Jose. It's right by where I live and is super convenient. Parking can be a bit of a pain, so get there early (that's the pruneyard for you)! Make an appt first or call ahead to see if they have openings. They are particular if you come in with two people and haven't called ahead/made an apt. The actual mani/pedi experience is wonderful. They are slow, calm and do a great job. The nail salon is usually quiet, which I enjoy.. I don't like all the yick-yack that goes on at nail salons. They also have a large TV, which usually has HGTV playing or a movie. The husband always does my gel/shellac manicure. He is very precise and very kind. read more

notice some mix review about Classy Nails on Bascom Ave. Campbell. I use to go there but, whenever I am there they speak to each other in Vietnamese language. owner watch what he like. it is not for customers. only 2 girls that are very nice. one was so unfriendly, given me a dirty looks, when I smiles, trying to start up a friendly conversation she totally ignore me. So I just stop going there and found another place that is much more friendly, place call Pearl Nails. the owner and employee are much more friendly, inter act with their customers, they are also Vietnamese but, they do not constantly talking to each other. they really focus on you and your needs. Having trouble to even enter ONE STAR. should be ZERO read more

You can't beat the customer service here! I have known the owners Jack and Annie for 15 years and they have never disappointed. The staff are very kind and accommodating to your needs. For instance, I didn't want my cuticles cut when I was younger since my cuticles were prone to bleeding. They were the only nail salon that did not cut my cuticles. I have even moved to southern California and I still only get my nails done here. You will not be disappointed getting your nails done here (: read more

I will always remember the pedicure I got in Vietnam. And I don't mean a Vietnamese nail salon but the one I actually got in Vietnam. It was ridiculous, they gave me a bowl (and I don't mean sink bowl, a literal bowl) and it was awful. My feet never looked so big and things were just sad. I swear they could have disinfected my nails with dish soap. And with Classy Nails? It's the same concept: I could have gotten better. I cheated on Sakura today (sorry Sakura, I still love you) because my mom was paying and she wanted to scope out this place in the Pruneyard. It was called Classy Nails. And I wonder when I get up there... what exactly are classy nails? Am I going to get a hideous french tip on my feet? I cherish the nail experience because it allows me to relax and pay someone to touch my feet for a few minutes. And well the leather chaise was nice, they didn't have the pedicure chair like other salons but rather a portable tub that was pathetic. No pressure, no heat, no massage. It was kind of ridiculous. HOWEVER, the lady that did my nails gave me the most exhilarating massage in my life. And that probably put me in coma to not notice the blatant color combinations on the supposed classy walls. Blah. read more

The first time I went, I got a French Manicure. They threw in two designs for the price of one - awesome! The second time I went, I got a mani-pedi. I asked the person doing my nails to fix one nail [it had something on it; there was a slight fleck of misc. substance]. She takes it out with a little clip, and paints over it. There obviously would still be a noticeable hole/dent. Then, I'm drying my nails/toes, and I'm asked to leave because the next person wants to take over. It hadn't even been the full 10 minutes yet. There are four seats, but she didn't want to scoot in, so it was hinted that I leave. Awkward? The salon girl hurriedly puts on some cuticle oil on my toes, so my sandal wedges wouldn't ruin them. Too bad the minute I walked outside and checked my toes, two toenails were already smudged and ruined. Thank goodness I had the similar color of nail polish at home and could moderately fix it. But, I was disappointed in the overall service. I had a four-star experience the first time around, and a two-star experience the second time around. On average, I'll give it a three-star rating. This place is good for a quick mani/pedi, but I wouldn't be a regular here or come here for any party preparations. read more

Jack did an AMAZING job with my gel manicure. It's been a long time since I've gotten a treatment but it looks like I'll be a regular from now on. I have been coming here for years, most of the time it is with a few girlfriends. They are always very accommodating to get us together. We always call & make an appointment. My pedicures last a few weeks & am always pleased with the job they do. Very friendly staff. There have been a few times I have gone in & asked for a manicure & specifically asked them NOT to trim my cuticles since they splinter & bleed when trimmed. Before I know it, they are trimming my cuticles. So I have to stay on top of it. Other than that, great little spot read more

They are very reliable and always do a good job. My nails come out looking spectacular each time. Jennifer does an incredible job no matter what you ask her for. When I go to a nail salon this is what I look for: nail polish that isn't dried up, proper sterilization procedures ( meaning packaged instruments), massage chairs, and great hand/ feet massages, and good work. I have been going here for almost 5 years and in the last year or so I am finding that this place just doesn't cut it. Save your money and go elsewhere. They always over book and you wait 15 to 20 minutes after your appointment. Their quality of work is also not great for the price you pay. My shellac manicures are often too thick causing them to peel within 1 week. My cuticles are left ragged not clean. They may have remodeled but the place is still shabby and looks not sanitary. The last thing I will say is that it's really disgusting to watch these nail techs eat their food right next to where you are getting your nails done! Needless to say I am cutting ties with this place for good. I gave them the benefit of the doubt for years and I have finally given up. read more
