They use locally roasted beans (available to purchase) and handcraft their drinks. It has a relaxed vibe that makes you want to sit, chat with friends, read a book or anything to keep the crazy away for a bit of time. The seating is comfortable, the decor is light and -- dare I say-- fun. There is a bar with seating, but why do that when there are other seating choices that let you absorb the atmosphere. They also carry some food in the line of bakery items and other light bites. Because it just opened their offerings may expand. With all the usual coffee options, Plush also has an array of soda offerings with typical and not-so-typical flavor combos. All that makes it a favorite of kids coming in with their parents and who also seem excited about the unusual vibe -- at least that's what I noticed in my short visit. Although I've only tried the coffee, I will say that it was pretty good. I might make this a rotation spot because this seems outside the norm and change is good.

The coffee and non-coffee beverages have been a mix for me: sometimes incredible, other times not so much, but I still like coming here for the atmosphere alone, as weird as they may be for a coffee fiend like me. The food, the couple times I've indulged, is good and there's a nice mix of offerings. This was a gas station previously and the new owners have made use of that with the glass garage doors that open to a nice outdoor seating area and using the front and side for more outdoor seating. They even managed to squeeze in a drive-thru for those eschewing the busier traffic at other coffee shops in the area. Poly's Place, locally owned, is a unique coffee shop in a mostly residential area. It's worth the experience.
