Was referred to John by a good friend of mine. I had some work done on my foot a while back (not by John), and a lot of it was faded and overall just not a pleasant sight. I stopped by the shop, John took a look at it and we set a date for late mid July. I was hoping to get something sooner, since I was going to be in Palm Springs around that time, but unfortunately he was all booked up, so before I left I asked if he could call me if he was able to get anything sooner or if he had any cancels and he assured me he would. Come the following week, I get a call from him, he tells me he has an opening that same day. I was totally not expecting that. It definitely shows a level of professionalism and dedication to his clients. I Went there that same day, was in n out in less than an hour and I could not be happier with my tattoo. I recommend this place to anyone/everyone I was greeted both times I walked in, and everyone was super friendly. I also think it's worth noting that in my short time there, I noticed the tattoo artists would randomly go over to whoever was working on someone, at the time, and they would compliment their work. I called this shop couple weeks ago to check if I have to make an appointment for a price quote. I was told that I can just walk-in. Few days later I did visit this shop to get a price quote, I spoke to a female receptionist or tattoo artist, she did check the picture I showed and I couldn't understand because of face mask and music, but I heard that she wants me to email the picture of the tattoo I wanted. My artist was Leani and she was able to make the physical pain of getting a tattoo a lot more bearable. She did a wonderful job too, and I'm super happy with the results. Booked my appointment with Javier De Luna. Javier was beyond great! This was my first ever tattoo and I was really nervous. Javier was super professional, always checking in on me to make sure I was okay and if I needed any rest. He talked me through the whole process and really kept me engaged throughout my first experience. After finishing up, he went over what to expect and even checked in on me a few days after to make sure I was doing fine and that the healing process was going okay. I decided one night that I was finally going to get the tattoo I've been wanting for years. Got on yelp, found this shop, and drove 30 mins there. I walked in with no appointment, and was helped immediately. After explaining what I wanted, no reference just words, Isaac put together exactly what I wanted, more perfect than I had pictured. I didn't know where I wanted it, how big I wanted it, but he patiently helped me figure out the perfect spot. I could not be happier. I cried and hugged him.. it was embarrassing but I couldn't have been more excited. It's been over a week and it's completely healed, it healed perfectly after the 3 day bandage and proper care, no issues whatsoever. My first tattoo was on my ribs by a bear of a man with fists like gloves.. needles to say the pain was nauseating. This tattoo was painless. So quick and so beautiful. Light quick hand. Can we just talk about Joe for a second? I came in as a walk in, and the customer service is top knotch! Isaac is a solid dude, and quoted me, then gave me a call to come back a little under an hour later. Here's where the magic happened. I talked to Joe about what I wanted with a picture for a general idea, and what I wanted done differently. I gave him free range to personalize it to HIS liking as much as he'd like with my little bit of criteria, and he sent Isaac back with the design in two sizes. He helped me decide where to put it, and got to work. Let me tell you, this man works FAST! He was done in under an hour and a half. I was so happy when he was done I could cry. He was sweet, funny, and professional... he's pretty cute too, so that's an added bonus! Thank you so much, Joe. Spur of the moment decided last Saturday would be the day I'd get my 1st tattoo. I went in and brought the design - they were pretty busy and the artist that was available didn't specialize in the type of design I wanted, so I was told it'd be best time to come in the next day (really appreciated the artist being honest about that and wanting to make sure I got exactly what I was hoping for).
