The delivery team handled it with such care!
Crystel T.

About a month ago, my husband and I went into Classic Pianos and had the best experience with Lamar! After months of researching different pianos, we knew a Kawai would probably have the sound we prefer - more balanced when it came to the sound being more mellow or bright. On the Classic Pianos website, we saw a used upright and baby grand K. Kawai that interested us. I sent an inquiry to ask about the prices, and Lamar responded shortly after - eventually scheduling an appointment the same day to look at it in person. Lamar was a very patient and kind person. Not only did he show us both pianos we requested and answered all questions asked, but he was so knowledgeable about these beautiful instruments. Not once did we feel pressured to make a purchase; and he went above and beyond to ensure we were taken care of. Adriana was who helped us with the transaction itself - she was so kind! At the time of purchase, we had to figure out what to do with our old upright at home. Lamar gave us an idea of what they would take for it or what we can try to sell it for. We ended up keeping it stored at a family member's house for now, but it's good to know that we can probably sell it to Classic Pianos in the future. Delivery itself was great - the moving company they work with handled it with care. Overall, I'd recommend Classic Pianos to anyone whose in the process of looking into investing in one. They have a large selection of new, used, digital, etc. While we worked with Lamar mostly, every employee we met was very nice and I could tell each person had so much passion for music. What a lovely experience!

I recently purchased a Schimmel at Classic Pianos. The sales manager was very helpful and nice, and my daughter really enjoys the piano.

I have been taking both guitar and vocal lessons with Half Note Music School for just over a year…read morenow and I would happily recommend anyone else interested in music lessons do the same. I've played the guitar on and off for over a decade. Jack - my guitar instructor - quickly learned where my past musical experience placed me and tailored our lessons to my skill level. I have no formal singing experience, and Amy has been wonderful helping me learn how to better use my voice. She has given me several different techniques that are easy to practice in my spare time. I have come a long way with both my instruments and I'm very satisfied with these lessons. As is common these days, my lessons were all over Skype and Zoom, but I hear the studio is open now for those that can attend in person.

First, some background: I considered myself an "adult beginner", though I've played around with a guitar since high school. I knew the basic open chords and a few songs from the various "Teach Yourself Guitar" books I'd gone through. I'd often thought about taking lessons, but never quite got around to it. As it turns out, one of my friends had been taking guitar lessons at Half Note Studio for about two years. When I asked her about it, she said she'd learned a lot and recommended I give Jack a call. I arranged a free initial lesson with Jack. I was nervous going into the studio, but Jack was quite friendly and quickly made me feel at ease. We went over what I knew and talked about what I wanted to get out of lessons. In my case, I was looking to learn more music theory and get some "proper" guitar instruction. Six months later, I still look forward to my regular guitar class! I'm developing a better understanding of music theory, improving my ear training, getting better at sight reading and generally developing a deeper appreciation for what I can do with the guitar. Jack's a great instructor and very flexible in terms of tailoring his lessons to the needs of the particular student. If you've ever thought about taking music lessons as an adult, I say give Jack and Half Note Music Studio a try!

Overall a very good experience. I found Stage 7 through Yelp / Google and was impressed with their…read morereviews. I decided to check them out, emailed their owner Ken and I set up a time to meet their Sales person - Yelena. Yelena was very nice to play a number of pianos for me and we finalized on one and She gave me a good price (We did go to and forth a bit, but in the end She gave me a great deal). Before I came here, I checked other stores in Bellevue for pianos and their prices was almost 30% more (maybe because of the high Bellevue rent). Delivery was smooth and they always kept me updated. I am thankful to Yelp and Google for helping me find Stage 7. I would strongly recommend anybody buying a piano to go buy in Stage 7. Also during the sale when I was browsing, I felt no pressure to buy a specific piano. Yelena gave me her feedback and left me to decide. In addition I did check with another Customer on the store and it did match the feedback given by Yelena. When I upgrade, I will go back to Stage 7 and upgrade. Finally I like the All Inclusive price which includes Tax, delivery, bench and 1 free tuning. It let me straight away to know, what I needed to pay.

When it was sold, first the lies continued by not informing me of the sale, then on receiving the money, 2 months of lies waiting to be paid. Kenn used every dirty lie in the book. It was horrific and despicable. I hope everything he deserves comes back to him ten fold.

They seemed to lack understanding of how to teach young children--the patience and scaffolding required. We are stopping lessons today after the teacher asked my son essentially why he can't read music and if he's day dreaming. Mind you, several of his lessons were canceled because of teacher absence so today should have been a gentle reintroduction to material. But again, this is where having an understanding of teaching children is important. I would look elsewhere for younger kids.

I joined the school to rehabilitate my voice for a few years since I had some throat issues and it was really sensitive. I took up opera classes to learn voice control and to push myself a little bit more. And every time I got sick, they were really accommodating by allowing me to transfer the lessons to my kids. When I attended the lessons with my on-going condition and could not sing, the teachers still taught me breathing lessons to help rehabilitate my lungs and try to open it back up from the tightness. For someone with my medical problems, the teachers have gotten me to the point where I can sing opera songs. It is truly a feat! And I am really grateful for everything they have done. And I highly HIGHLY recommend anyone to join if you are looking for a great school to give your kids an extra boost in their musical talents or better your musical talents. All of the teachers and the staff are just amazing!
