I am beyond disappointed with my visit. I got the laziest pedicure i have ever received. My 10-year-old son would've done a better job he barely cleaned up. My toes didn't scrub at all with the foot file. There was a two second massage no lotion anything at all and it was $56. That was the worst pedicure and highly overpriced for what they did. I shouldn't have paid more than $30 even with a tip. Save yourself the disappointment and don't go. The shop itself is rundown and looks like it needed to be remodeled 15 years ago. Today, December 28, 2023, my wife was treating me for a scheduled pedicure appointment at Classic Nails; one for me and her at 2 PM today, 6450 Winchester Blvd, Canal Winchester, Ohio We excitedly scheduled our day accordingly. We prepared ourselves and arrived at the scheduled Canal Winchester location at scheduled time of appointment. We signed in and EVENTUALLY were acknowledged, only to be TOLD that they were "booked". Our immediate reply was that they themselves scheduled and confirmed us for two pedicures at the designated 2pm. The lady again "rudely" reiterated and further asked us to come back on tomorrow (12/29). My response was "so by inconveniently coming back on tomorrow would it be free or even discounted due to YOUR documented error with no cancellation courtesy phone call ahead of arrival?" The woman replied "nothing is free" and I responded by saying "neither is our time for free" that you disrespected without any regard on today. This woman was very nonchalant, insensitive, and displayed NO SOUND CUSTOMER SERVICE in response to us in front of everyone! This was my first & LAST visit at Classic Nails 6450 Winchester Blvd Canal, Winchester. I will NEVER return. I DO NOT Recommend this establishment at all. Beware of this place... The lady at the front of the nail salon (candy or Wendy I believe her name was) was racist!!! Why you ask? Let me explain... First, I have never experienced racism in my life until tonight. My two kids and I walked in and no one spoke or asked me what I was getting. The next 3 white customers walked in and they were greeted and asked what they were doing for Christmas. I finally stood up and made it known that the lack of acknowledgement and customer service was unappreciated s the lady sitting closest to the door (Wendy or Candy) refused to acknowledge we were even sitting there and proceeded to treat every white customer over zealously. A gentleman was kind enough to take care of us but painted my daughters nails the wrong color and a color she didn't ask for. Instead of making a scene, I still have a tip and smile and left. Needless to say, we will not be returning. My five year old asked for purple and even gave the number and we left with tears in her eyes and her nails bright orange. I had my nails done (acrylics) from a previous shop and they were lifting needed removed and a new set put on. I had technician vin he didn't want to soak the off it "takes much time." He cut them and popped them off with an acrylic tip but wasn't careful and I told him it felt like he was ripping my nails off, well on my left thump he did about 1/3 of the nail in the middle of the nail bed. It's been over 12 hours and it is so sore. My nails look amazing to be honest but Idk how long it's gonna be sore like this and I will not be going back. I went and received a pedicure at this location. The person who was doing my pedicure was very aggressive. Not even 24 hrs had passed when the polish on my little toe came off. I paid extra money for a gel manicure only for the gel to begin chipping 2 days later. I ended up taking the gel polish off (about 2 weeks after) but now my nails look awful and are super brittle. I do not recommend this location. Stay clear of it. read more

In keeping with my policy of waiting two weeks to review a nail salon, I vowed to do so for Classic Nails, despite the fact that the technician rushed me to select a color and then proceeded to draw blood from not 1, not 2, but 3 fingers while trimming my cuticles. That was 4 days ago. The polish on my right pinky finger chipped today, which is what prompted the early review. The salon itself is older; there's nothing spa-like about it. Friday I walked in around 10AM for a dip set. I didn't have to wait long and the service really was exceptional, but this is by far the worst dip set I have had in the year+ I have been getting dip. I have been traveling to Reynoldsburg to get my nails done for 2 years and I had a close friend recommend Classic Nails, so I figured I would give it a shot. By lunchtime Friday, two of my nails had cracked, one to the point that it exposed my natural nail and caused it to break. I called and they got me back in on Saturday to fix the two. Got the two fixed, and by Sunday afternoon, I have a chip out of another one and a crack in one ON THE OPPOSITE HAND. In the year+ that I have been getting dip, I have NEVER had issues, and I was working in a more industrious job before now. I'm sure that if I call, there will be willingness to help, but I probably will not return once this set is ready to come off. Either it's not being done properly or the product is not that great.. I used to come to this location often since it's convenient and close; however, after visiting a few other places in the area - I see that there is major price gauging here. I actually stopped in last weekend since I didn't feel like driving to Pickerington and was extremely disappointed when I asked the owner how much it would cost to paint my five year old's nails. He said $15! My mouth literally dropped. $15 to paint a five year old's teeny, tiny nails! Typically, other nail salons will do it for $5 if they're not busy. They'll also lotion her up too! The owner and the prices here are what drops this review down to two stars. I have always enjoyed the nail technicians here. They're friendly and talkative. If i could rate my nail tech personally he would get one star . He was more into watching the soccer game than giving me my pedicure literally stopped multiple times to watch the game than told me i couldn't have the signature pedicure because he was all out i could only do the classic. Tried this place again and Wendy treated me so rude. Her and the younger gentleman argued because on my last trip I gave 22 dollar tip for my nails, toes, eyebrows. The guy did nails and toes. Wendy did my eyebrows. He gave her 2 dollars of the 22.She clearly got upset with him, so I gave her 5 more dollars. The next time I tried coming Wendy wouldn't help me or even look my way. My pedicure was average my gel nail polish has chipped completely off of my right middle finger and right thumb in less than three days. The polish looked sloppy from the beginning and the "perfect color match" was far from perfect. It was completely off. I expressed my dissatisfaction for which they offered no discount or apology. We were trying to find a nail salon for my daughter to get her nails done for her first day of school.Since our regular salon was closed. I dropped her and friend off. In about an hour my daughter text and asked me to come in. Her nails were hideous uneven, last color she had were still noticeable on the sides of the nail and the sides if the nails were jagged. She had already paid and the lady had moved on to a pedicure. I asked if she could come redo the nails how they looked terrible. After huffing and smacking her lips she came over and said I will file there is nothing else wrong.
