We were looking for a convenient and not too chaotic place for Easter brunch and this hit the spot. Located near Burien's main drag in their "Olde Town." You will need to find street parking but it's not too difficult. The name gives you the clue - it's "classic" in a retro, elevated biker bar way (there is a bar in the front and there was a biker out front as well so I'm sticking with this description). On the walls are "classics" like Harley Davidson and Elvis Presley. Among the other things that we did not know (which was everything) - it's New Orleans Cajun-based food. There are some non-New Orleans Cajun items on the menu - traditional breakfast French Toast and such - however, many of the items, from the omelets to the chicken ARE with a very tasty and not-too-spicy Cajun flavor or sauce. My husband had the omelet that featured andouille sausage and was very glad he did. I tried the Cajun chicken tenders (?) that came LOADED, on top of delicious homestyle biscuits, and next to a pile of cheesy potatoes. Service was perfect. Very friendly from walking in the door to walking out the door. Very diverse clientele so you can rest assured you will like it here. Could not have had a better Easter brunch experience unless the Easter Bunny itself was there.

Classic eats seems like a nestled local spot. I'm not typically familiar with this area but didn't find any parking when I went. I found street parking relatively easily and only walked less than 1 block. The vibes in here live up to the name, just a good old fashioned place to get some decent brunch food. I would definitely come again if I was in the area. Staff: Nice (4/5) Sanitation: (4/5) Country Fried Steak and Eggs (5/5) This was an amazing country fried steak, I think my only complaint would be I wish it was a little bit bigger or a tad bit more gravy. It was well seasoned and the gravy completely complemented the protein. The hash browns were also decent, I typically like my hash browns a little crispier but it was solid. The eggs were eggs nothing much to really say about those haha but I would order this again for sure.

Amazing!!!!! Was looking for a restaurant to fill the soul of my dear sweet travelers who has been longing for rest after spending the whole day in Seattle. Not sure if I am spelling our server's name correctly, Romie was a delight and offered kindness and patience for us. On to the food! I cannot decide if we should get the jambalaya and split or the new menu item, which is the cilantro shrimp. I am a fan of both. I will definitely have to return to try the jambalaya, but this evening we decided to go with the cilantro shrimp. The shrimp was cooked perfectly and seasoned well. The cilantro cream sauce paired greatly with the pasta. The sauce was not over creamy, but it was a little bit on the oily/buttery side and the sauce itself could use a little bit of salt and pepper. The waffle was on of the best we have been able to locate and the bacon, which I forgot to snap a pic of because we gobble it down before I realized. LOL!!! The beignets were cooked very well, I love the puff pastry that they use because it wasn't overly sweet and they weren't too greasy. Am I opinion overall this is a decent affordable restaurant to enjoy a meal with a friend a loved one and even a family member. The restaurant is not on the larger scale, so my recommendations would be no more than 4 to 6 people in your party if you plan to eat here. It's also very chill and the atmosphere was relaxing in case you're looking for a place with a little bit more intimacy. As always safe, hungry and happy out there! Be someone's best day. YES, this is a great place that everyone needs to give a try. It's a local chef-owned establishment with great food, decent service, overall what you would expect. It does get a little loud but that's because it's hopping! We have been here twice and both times have been good. The triple stack French toast was not as good as I had hoped but I can see why it's a favorite. Fortunately the food is overall very good. Probably the only negative, on our first visit, I asked if they had or could do an iced coffee. It was middle of summer and like 9:00 in the morning. The waitress said no, we can't do that, we only have hot coffee. I wasn't thinking fast enough to just order coffee and ask for a glass of ice, so I went with water.

I met up with a college friend and her friend visiting from Vancouver to see the Savannah Bananas and stop by the Chihuly Garden and Glass. We decided to check out Classic Eats in Burien for breakfast (9/20/25). I had stopped by a nearby cookie shop, bookstore, and pizza site, but this was a first visit to Classic Eats. We met up right at their 9am opening. Love the interior decor. Disco balls galore and the most animated waitstaff. I wanted just about everything on the menu, but decided to try their breakfast burrito. It was generous, flavor packed, and nicely plated. They seemed to enjoy their breakfast choices and the coffee. It was nice to catch up and not feel rushed after spending 90 minutes onsite. As we were settling our bills, by sheer coincidence another Yelp Elite and her daughter were seated diagonal from us. Great overall first impression, definitely merits a return visit or two or three...yes, definitely recommended!

Came here without high expectations but ended up loving it! This place is your classic neighborhood diner-bar combo that serves breakfast and brunch. Parking was easy -- there's a lot in the back. The servers were super friendly and kept checking in to see if we needed anything. I got excited when I saw grits on the menu before coming. We ordered the Jambalaya Grits and Chicken & Waffles. Finding a spot in the West Coast that actually does grits well is rare, but they nailed it here -- truly delicious! As for the Chicken & Waffles, I was a bit surprised that the chicken came as wings, but they were crispy, sweet, and really tasty. The waffle was a little dense, but still good. And the mimosa double was only $8 (single for $4)! A surprisingly great brunch -- everything hit the spot. I'll definitely be back!

My Family I reserved the private seating area for the finale of My Godmother's Surprise 70TH Birthday weekend. Food~it's a few items I had in mind the chicken and Belgian Waffles, the Eggs Benedict combo, and the French Toast combo. I decided on the French Toast because a few family members were raving about it. But, I was disappointed when it arrived it was lukewarm w/ a few pieces of toast were burnt, eggs were fried hard (ask for over medium), and, the bacon was undercooked. I had viewed several photos and reviews before I made my final choice but, you always should go with your first choice. I did send the bacon but, to be cooked longer but, I ate the rest of my food as is. I normally wouldn't do that but, we were in a large party and, I was extremely hungry before we even arrived. A few other family members experience the same but, requested it to be prepared again. Service~Our waiter was Adam he was super nice and, extremely helpful by making sure everyone was accommodated. I appreciate Adam and, the cooking staff trying to make sure everyone order came out together. My friends and I normally would tell our waiter/waitress to bring out as soon as it gets plated. Ambiance~It's a well established, clean, and pleasant restaurant. Parking can be very hard to find because of other businesses in that area. I really enjoyed the vibes and, I would highly recommend giving this eatery at try. I cannot wait to come again very soon because, it's a town staple and, I know they have amazing food.

One of my new fav spots for breakfast! Came here before the big superbowl game and left feeling like Seattle had already one the superbowl. We walked in and the hostess was there and some guy in the kitchen said the hostess would be right back. Turns out he was the owner! Nice guy! We were seated immediately. This restaurant is a Creole inspired and it was delicious. I was torn between the shrimp and grits or the jambalaya. The waitress said everyone comes here for the jambalaya. Sold! I was licking the plate clean! Delicious. It has shrimp, sausage and chicken over cheesy grits. Heavenly. We also ordered the traditional breakfast. I can't wait go back and try more. I was eyeing the chicken and waffles hot honey chicken as well! See you again Tony!

Summary: Good food, great service, casual dining. I'll definitely come back again. Food: Everything we ordered was great. Two had to do with chicken (chicken waffles and half chicken dish) which was cooked perfectly, crispy on the outside but still juicy when you bite into it. Seasoned well. Waffles were not eggy but still moist. Fries were regular fries yet crispy and salted just enough. Sandwich was good as well, bread was toasted but bottom part was a bit soggy. You can taste everything, no ingredient overpowering other ingredients. Service: Great. Attentive. Polite. Space: Huge space. they tables by the bar as well as outside tables. Good for huge groups. Bathroom: Clean Parking: Plenty, both street parking and designated parking on the side shared with other establishments.

Wednesday June 25th, 2025 Lunchtime- 12:00-1:00 Food was Amazing! The Pastrami Sandwich was perfectly hot and delicious! Everything was perfect! Had an Arnold Palmer and it was good. It got busy by the time we left. You can park around the corner behind the Real Estate office if there's no parking on the street. I know it gets busy on weekends, they have a large dining area in the back and also a private room for parties. Cheers!

Okayyy shoutout to our friend bringing us here because why are there so many hidden gems in Burien?! This breakfast place is sooo good and affordable. It gets pretty busy in weekends so don't come super hangry or come before the rush. Everybody pretty much cleaned up their plates. I only tried my steak and eggs with potatoes that come with melted cheese. Our waitress was so kind and offered us many sauce options to consume with our meal. The steak was juicy and crispy on the outside. The potato's went so well with it and crispy as well! Usually my potato's always come soggy or under cooked. The best part was the $4 mimosas. Haven't seen a drink cost that cheap in years. Like I get it's just orange juice and champagne but it really got the job done! Didn't taste watered down or anything lol. I am definitely returning to try the Eggs Benedict. We were seated in the patio and it was raining that day. Surprised how warm it was in the patio. Service was really good! I had the meatloaf dinner with garlic mashed potatoes and asparagus. It tasted yummy and it was plated well with thinly sliced onion rings stacked on top. I will definitely be back here to eat soon! read more

I had a great time. My wife and I went there to meet a good friend and my friend wanted to buy us lunch. I had the filet steak and it was delicious but my bruschetta was to die for. Very delicious. The owner was very nice and brought us calamari on the house. I felt very welcome here. And the bar lady who im sorry I forgot your name as im writing this (im very sorry) was also very nice. Visited Classic Eats for dinner on a weeknight and had a great experience. We ordered the Meatloaf, Shrimp & Grits and the Cajun Chicken Pasta. I couldn't keep my husband out of my bowl because he thought the pasta was so good (it was!) and his meatloaf and my friends' meal were all absolutely delicious. They were busy so service was a little slow as we were getting toward closing time. All of the staff was very friendly. The atmosphere is buzzing with lots of people laughing and talking and overall it just feels like a warm place. It is not a quiet place. Parking is easy since it's in Olde Burien, you can find free street parking pretty easily. You might have to walk a block at the most. I will definitely be coming back to Classic Eats and am looking forward to trying the brunch next! read more

If you're looking for some of the most flavorful, southern, country style cuisine...this is it! The service is fast and efficient. The ambience has a Tennessee diner vibe with motorcycle artwork and pop art. The fried chicken sliders are fantastic and do not disappoint. The chicken breast is so juicy and the buns are so fresh and perfectly doughy...as they are made at the nearby bakery. So good! I need more of this!!!! My husband had the shrimp po' boy and said it was the best he's ever had.....he kept raving on and on...something about the bread, the perfectly fried shrimp and the amazing sauce. I had the habanero chicken chowder with the fresh toasted baguettes. So good! And that bread....deeyammmm!!!! We HAVE to...no, wait....we NEED to go back for some more of that bread. The place was modified to amplify the noise to the unbearable level, making it a painful, unpleasant place to be. We left after observing the noise and will probably never taste the food. Go here for torture with your dinner - unless you are deaf. read more

Absolutely amazing! The owner says he left New Orleans as a child but I'm going to say he's been tipping back quite often. Best jambalaya grits I've had in or out of New Orleans. This is our second time visiting this amazing brunch restaurant. I am not from the area but have now made it a priority to stop here anytime i visit. The ambiance is busy but well managed and great music. My food was delicious but the shrimp and gritz stole the show again. This is my go to brunch spot y'all. When I want great brunch and great bloodys Classic Eats has my fix. Here's the thing, the staff is great too. Prompt, friendly, accommodating. The food is satisfying in that comfort food meets decadence sort of way. Tony and team pull out the stops to treat you like family. Big restaurant- bigger than anticipated. Seating out front, inside and outside (the back). Service is okay, they check in on you every once in a while, food takes a bit to arrive. Food wise, I would say it's solid. Ordered the bbq chicken salad and it had a huge amount of fried onions and diced chicken- the two best parts. Onions were fried lightly and didn't feel heavy, salad was very fresh. Partner ordered- steak w/ asparagus and sweet potato puree and seafood medley (in a sauce). So Disappointing! This is not the Classic Eats that I used to love! Since the menu prices have increased, the selection of food has gone down. What happened to your quesadillas? A couple of dishes we chose were way below the usual standard. The "meat" in the prime rib sandwich was grisly, the chicken in the sliders was overcooked and dried out (this has happened twice recently). My biggest disappointment was the Shepards Pie! The whole dish was more like a stew with flavorless, stringy meat mixed in with chalky peas and other veggies that don't belong in this dish. Worst of all was the watery, mushy potato, which is supposed to be in a fluffy layer above the meat and vegetables. I should have known better when I saw the soup spoon on the plate. Please, please get rid of your current cooks and replace them with the ones you used to have. If it wasn't for your great service and friendly staff, wine and ambiance, I wouldn't return. Am I the only one to be so disappointed? I bet I'm not. read more

I ordered the jambalaya and a hot tea with lemon and honey. People who came after me got their drinks first. It took 35 minutes to get my hot tea and then I had to ask for my lemon. She was on her way to bring me my lemon and started talking to a table full of people she knew. So now we're at 45 minutes and the people who came behind me got their food. My jambalaya was still nowhere to be found. So I asked if I could pay for my tea and leave. She asked me if I wanted my food to go and I asked her what food? I never got my food. No apologies no nothing. I'm not sure how they have such high ratings with crappy service like this. Now I'm hungry and cranky. Worst service I've had in a long time. read more

Classic eats catered my 50th birthday party. It was amazing!!! All people talked about was the food that was served at my party. It was so good that we didn't have enough. Not my first time eating here, but as usual, the ambience was very nice. It was quiet and the service as we ate in the bar was excellent. We each had different salmon dishes both were delicious and followed with a wonderful bread pudding and ice cream dessert. The brunches are wonderful on weekends as well. Our family was visiting from out of town and we decided to give Classic Eats a try. The patio and front bar area was hopping as it was early for dinner, so that's a good sign. Our server was a character and was great. The food was solid. Nothing too fancy, but solid. The only ding was the mashed potatoes that came with my mother-in-law's salmon entrée were not hot. They were like, room temperature. The warm cookie skillet was a nice way to end the meal. It wasn't vanilla bean ice cream (no flecks), but it hit the spot. read more

I was able to snag a table in the bar vs sitting in the main dining room. Somehow it always seems chaotic back there...Fantastic service and enjoyed my cocktails and meal while catching up with a friend. Server assured me that the zesty wings were not spicy - they weren't, but I think I would have liked a chicken breast or strips so I could get a bite together with the waffle. All in all, a good time and a place I'd come back to again. read more

Came to Seattle for a trip with friends, found this spot near our AirBnB and it was the highlight of our weekend. Owner was fantastic and very accommodating to our large party. The waiter was super friendly and always checked in on us. I got the country fried steak and my wife got the strawberry waffles. The country fried steak was fantastic! The gravy they put on top is to die for, seriously so good. Eggs were cooked perfectly and hash browns always hit. Got a piece of my wife's strawberry waffles towards the end and they were good but I was still wanting more steak! Overall if I was ever back in Seattle area this would be the first place I come to. So thankful we had this place as the highlight of our weekend read more

This place completely exceeded my expectations. We came in on a Saturday with a party of 11 and they didn't even flinch! The place was packed (good sign) but they led us to a little back room private space area for our crew. The back room had a TV with college football on too which was a major bonus! They have a kids menu, many different mimosa flavors, and a killer breakfast burrito. Our server was super cool and very patient considering we had 4 little kids with us which is always a bit chaotic. The atmosphere felt like a true neighborhood pub, with plenty of TVs for watching the game and lots of regulars who clearly feel at home there. The guests seated in front of us were chatting with our waitress like old friends, which really added to the warm, community feel of the place. I ordered the Ahi Taco Wrap and my husband ordered the Luna Fish and Chips. My husband's drink arrived with an apology from another server as she poured the wrong drink for him. He was gracious and took it anyway. Out come our plates. I tasted my husbands fish and found it seriously lacking in flavor; nothing great here. Now let's get to my Ahi wrap; I had serious issues with this.This includes tuna, avocado, cilantro lime coleslaw with chipotle aioli and lime on the side. House made chips and salsa were included. The wrap was hugely disappointing. The ratio of tuna to coleslaw was seriously off. 90 percent of this wrap was coleslaw. The chips weren't fresh and the salsa was just ok, had a sweet type of base, which I don't like in my salsa. The lime included was stale and I couldn't get a drop out of this. The chipotle was so so. The coleslaw had no distinctive cilantro lime flavor. This dish was entirely disappointing and priced at 19.95. Never again. My husband's dish had two pieces of fish and was priced at 18.50. So after the cost of the drinks, the meal was over 60. Shame on us for a few things: 1. For not looking closely at the prices 2. And for most importantly, for simply not grabbing a decently priced hot dog at the farmers market. I'm positive this would have been better and a better deal. We will not be back to this place. The only reason I gave this a one star was for the waitress and the peach tea. Seriously.

If there is going to be sponsored tournaments there needs to be a regulated time of who is in and out and absolutely no late night add ons. (It is unfair to people that paid money too just be told internet is messed up.) All tournaments should have an active board not A digital online board) This is personal opinion but my experience was unfair and unfun. Hope that someone can run a tournament soon .

This place isn't terrible, it's a pretty cheap and cute breakfast/brunch joint. The serving sizes are really great, even had some to eat later. We met friends who were in town for brunch. Everyone loved their food & the service was amazing. The menu provided something for every taste. We had the Chicken and Waffles, Eggs Benedict and Blackened Chicken Pasta. The Strawberry Lemonade and Cranberry Mimosa we're both yummy! The staff was amazing. Not only did our waitress continuously check on us but so did the management. I highly recommend! read more

Sub-par at best. Classic Eats is the old Mark, and is honestly, kind of missing the mark. The food was bland, really basic and a bit over priced. The service shined at one moment, when a child spilled a glass and they were prompt in helping clean up and keeping everyone calm. Other than that, I waited a lot for a refill of my own drink. This is a good place to take a date, if they didn't know any better, and you couldn't come up with any better ideas. I would go there again if I was invited, but I would not go there again on my decision. read more

Went for Saturday breakfast for the first time since this was The Mark. New owners have really improved the place. The Mark was one of the worst places for breakfast and Classic Eats is not bad. Basic "diner" breakfast, but hot and tasty. Dale, our server, was quite attentive and other staff took the time to check on us also. I absolutely love this place! I have been there for dinner and had multiple items from their menu…read moreand shared with friends and they were delicious. Went there for breakfast, went there hungry because I was so excited, don't order the avocado toast! Very, very disappointing!! I left their hungry and sad. Piece of bread I couldn't even cut the crust, avocado spread of some sort and an egg, whoop, whoop, blah! Please add a tomato add bacon, some kind of hollandaise sauce do something. It wasn't very good at all. I couldn't even look at the server when asked how was your meal. On a sidenote, the servers are wonderful great place The only complaint is that damn avocado toast. Take it off the menu or doctor it up.
