I love stopping here on my way to work. The donuts are fresh and yummy, the kolaches and sandwiches are good too. Old school donut shop setup inside. Service is quick and friendly.

Great selection of donuts! Fast and friendly service. Picked up a glazed old fashioned, chocolate custard filled long John, apple fritter, and raspberry filled glazed donut. This place Also has a selection of tamales, burritos, breakfast sandwiches, kolaches etc to take for lunch. This place opens SUPER early and they have all their donuts ready when they open unlike other places ( ahem...westco donuts...) that open their doors with NOTHING on their shelves. This is my go-to donut place. Go check it out.

Great neighborhood donut/Kolache/breakfast taco stop with very warm, friendly service and bargain prices. We stopped in to grab a bite before shopping for groceries at Foodarama. had a very yummy Barbacoa torta with sour cream, beans, lettuce, and the freshest and sweetest tomato ever on a toasted roll. Hubs had a fresh sausage Kolache and a huge cinnamon roll that was soft and sweet. Even with 2 medium coffees, the total was just over $10.

Good little donut shop with very reasonable prices. What most people won't know based on just looking from the outside is they serve tacos. They have a large assortment of breakfast and lunch tacos. My hubby is a fan of the chorizo. Also the have stuffed kolaches they call rancheros. They have basic kolaches too. You can pick from regular or large. I like the plain sausage and cheese regular. My favorite thing here is the chocolate donut holes. I've never found another place that makes chocolate donut holes. If you go early and catch them right after they make them #heaven !!!!! It's just a simple little shop but I like it. PS - they sell crullers

Definitely a taste of home outside of San Diego and Tijuana. Finding authentic TJ flavor in Texas (not Tex-Mex) was a welcome surprise! Our carne asada was grilled al carbón and you could taste the char! Juicy carne full of flavor, thin but strong and tasty tortillas (they really held everything together well), perfect chunky guac (not too fancy or full of fillers--IYKYK), and a variety of delicious salsas and hot sauces! An added bonus was the complimentary chicharrones! I'll take those over tortilla chips any day! The dining room isn't very big, but it's clean and has good a/c....there's an outdoor patio as well. Service was fast and friendly. Tacos and burritos were hefty and full of flavor. Ample parking. So glad that my family from San Diego (who I know get real Mexican taco shop cravings) can get a taste of home right in their Houston backyard!

Limited indoor seating, and since it gets busy we usually order to go. When I did dine in it was nice experience, feels authentic like eating a local spot in Mexico. You have the Mexican cokes available, the style of tacos has a big scoop of guac which makes them a bit unique compared to other spots that charge extra for guac. Their tacos are big too! Not the mini small taco tortillas you get in a food truck. These are big tacos so getting 2 is enough for me. I've tried their Asado tacos and their quesadillas and their quesabirrias all 10/10.

I think I ordered mozzarella sticks, but really only drinks. I was discriminated against by the general manager whoever the manager is there, I'm a black female. I was alone. I was by myself. This manager picked up the phone to call the cops on me because of his mistake. I ordered two drinks instead of three and I disputed that and he ended up telling me to get out of his restaurant and he picked up the phone to call the police keep in mind. I'm a single female I'm by myself I don't know anything about Texas nothing and I'm talking to a real human but it was very inhumane. I will put the address down. I think they only have two locations. I will put the address down here. I will also get on my TikTok and my Facebook where I have a large following and I will tell everyone I know about this place. It's tucked off in Houston Texas somewhere I'm here for work. I decide to go to a friendly bar, which I thought it was I went there and dined there I paid for my food I tipped and then on my way home. I was like that was a cool place. Let me go back so I went back to order the same drink that I ordered, but then insert the manager his name is Michael I think but I'm gonna put the address here and the phone number please don't patronize these people until you know that they've done right by other people. I didn't even get a chance to taste the food before they were trying to call the police on me. I'm 115 pound 5 foot black girl I was by myself and then he turned the customers against me because one customer was like, yeah get the fuck out like he said. I will continue to post this until I've heard back from this place from a general manager or somebody other than the manager of the restaurant. I will continue to post this. It's not right. It was a Hispanic male. The manager you chose to represent your brand but could not represent it. I try to support local businesses but this type of service is uncalled for. I am at a conference and let all the patrons that were about to meet me there what happened. Management please do better. I called you guys, no answer and the run around about the manager's name at this location. Very rude and called the cops!! Please save your money. It's so many restaurants around don't go here unless they change the management. I still would be sus tho. They are tucked in the back so word of mouth is really all they got. As a GM of an establishment myself, this was totally uncalled for. An $8 that I would have gladly payed for because I had just come in there hours before with no issues. I paid and tipped well and was thinking this place is nice let me go back and was in for an awful treat. I don't want anybody no matter who they are experiencing what I experienced last night on September 27th 2026 9pm on or about. I am an influencer we come to different places so we can have good food and post positive things about them, but I can't say the same for this restaurant no matter what your orientation is this place will discriminate against you. I went the night before to show my team around because the restaurant was highly recommended. 1805 W 18th St Houston, TX 77008 United States The manger on duty at 9pm Pimlico Pub HEI took unauthorized amount on my credit card. Please, if you don't wanna be deceived when you place your credit card and these people's hands, please don't go to this establishment

CASH ONLY!! Best…read moreTacos in Houston. Taconazo is the pride and staple of Northside. Always a long line but it so worth it. Barbacoa and pastor is easily the best I've ever had. Horchata is not too shabby either. Doesn't taste grainy. Speedy service. Reasonable price. Keep in mind the "Platos/ Plato Regular, etc." are plates of carne. Ideal for taking home.

Alert: Cash Only…read more I've passed this taco truck countless times and almost always seen a line stretching from the window. There's even a security guard on site, which only adds to the impression that this place is fire. So when I happened to drive by on a 100-degree afternoon and found no line, I took it as a sign to finally give it a try. The small parking lot adjacent to the truck was nearly empty, except for a few other patrons who probably had the same idea. Ordering was simple and to the point. The menu keeps things straightforward: a selection of meats served as tacos or plates with a handful of sides. I ordered two barbacoa tacos with salsa verde. Less than two minutes after placing my order, they were in my hands. Fast service on a scorching day is always appreciated. With no seating available, I retreated to the comfort of my car to eat. Based on the amount of grease packed into these tacos, I would recommend doing the same. Eating them while standing could end with your shirt becoming an unintended side dish. One thing to note: don't count on a generous napkin supply. I realized after returning to my car that none were included. Consider keeping a few emergency fast-food napkins in your glove compartment. Those leftover Taco Bell napkins may finally fulfill their destiny. The barbacoa was flavorful, the salsa verde complemented it well, and overall, the tacos were overall tasty. That said, I left somewhat underwhelmed considering the crowds I routinely see gathered here during lunch and dinner hours. Perhaps I'm missing the standout item that keeps customers lining up daily. Even so, if you happen to have cash in your pocket and find yourself craving authentic tacos, this truck is certainly worth a stop.

We ordered: Horchata (small for $3.49), Quesadillas with beef, Quesadillas with chicharron, Gorditas with beef, and Gorditas with chicharron. I don't like cinnamon but the horchata was addicting and it paired so well with the food. My friend got their Melon Agua Fresca and he said it was really refreshing as well. The gorditas were stuffed and they were so delicious, the cheese was melting and the bread was warm and not dry. The Quesadillas were my favorite. You put both the red sauce and the green sauce on it, a lot of lime juice, and it's perfect. I forgot to order cilantro on mine but they do give you it at no extra cost. The prices are so cheap and you get so much food. Everything is around $3 and it will fill you up. Each of us totaled out to be about $10-15 per person and we were stuffed. I would definitely come back here over and over again! My friend said the only bad thing about this place is when you order to go, they won't give you a lot (no lime, no hot sauces, less meat, etc.) so definitely get dine-in.
