Where to start? Had my truck for over 6 months. Said it was ready. I went to pick it up and had…read moremultiple issues. Left it there for about another month. Took it on a trip and found more issues. Took it back again. Called a couple weeks later said it was done. At this point its been about 6.5-7 months. Alignment was still off, battery connection cover still missing, air breather box not anchored down (found this when changing the oil and filters). And side molding on passenger door is coming off. Called and talked to Sarah ( a manager). Met her at 1:30. Basically gave me a run around, said there tech said the air box was anchored (a lie). I will be fixing these issues myself. Next call is Columbia County BBB. Please do you due diligence and DO NOT use Cushman Paint and Body. On a good note Olivia the receptionist was very professional, courteous. Great employee.

We were told, specifically, that it would take 25 business days and he, I don't remember his name, told my husband that he would call him HIMSELF and keep him up to speed. We waited. And waited. We dropped the truck off around Valentines day. My husband finally called and he was told that since no one came to claim the truck, they called the salvage yard to come get it. Way out in South Augusta. You did what? No one called us. NO ONE!! Wait a minute. Did I mention NO ONE CALLED US!! Bad Business guys! Really bad business. Duly noted.

Nevertheless, I…read morechose this location because it had the best rating of various places around that I'd looked up, and I live in North Augusta. From the moment I called, they were very attentive. They scheduled an estimate within a couple of days, and then quoted much less than I was expecting for a front bumper that had been ripped off my vehicle. Then, they scheduled my repairs while also quoting only a week until completion. I got a bit suspicious when an autogenerated text said it would be done in a month, but I was almost immediately relieved when I was texted by my estimator, Georgia, who explained the system messaging has an issue, and then she reconfirmed the originally estimated timeframe for repair. They kept me updated on the progress and, sure enough, one week later my car was finished! The facility is nice and clean. I thought the receptionist and Georgia were very professional. While I cannot speak to the repair staff since I really had no interaction with them, my car looks almost just like it had never been damaged, only cleaner! I say that only because when it comes to my vehicles, I know when things look just a little different. Nevertheless, I am very happy with the service I received at the Evans-to-Locks location of Gerber Collision & Glass, from the estimators to the repair team, and I would recommend them to anyone who asks me!

I've taken about a year to ponder over leaving a review or not…read more Me as a person: Naive, trusting, mid-20's, knowing nothing about cars. Issue: My 2014 Kia refuses to drive over 45 miles per hour. Jiffy Lube: "We cannot work on a car that has the engine light flashing" I coast down the hill to a place that has "Christian" in the title. Naive, naive, naive. The place is willing to look at my car that day. Wonderful. It's the morning. They'll let me know when they're done. I walk all over Evans since it's a lovely day. They have my car past 5:00. So it's been... 6-7 hours. Luckily I didn't have work. Finally I wait in the building so I don't get locked out past closing time. Eventually, I'm told "You're going to need an entirely new engine. Your car isn't safe to drive." I'm shaken. I had just bought the car less than 3 months ago. I ask if they know any tow truck services they trust so I can take my car home, as I was a pharmacy technician at the time and flat broke. I had spent that March through August walking everywhere I needed, so I just accepted my fate of walking everywhere once more until I could figure out how to save for a multi-thousand dollar fix. The person at the front desk then says "Oh, it's not serious enough that you need a tow." My inner dialogue went "Hm.. but you just said my engine needs to be replaced. My car isn't safe to drive... why WOULDNT I need a tow truck?" So I pay the $91 diagnostic fee on my credit card, a bit dumbfounded that $100, which was the equivalent to working 6 hours overtime at my full time job to afford the service, fixed nothing. My engine is to give out at any second, but I'm okay to drive home? Quite embarrassed, I called my veteran friend who came over that afternoon, ran a test on his diagnostic machine, and asked if I hit a bump recently. I did. He told me I had activated some sort of knock sensor when I did that, which then activated a safety mechanism, which was why my car wouldn't go over 45. He cleared the code on his device, and my car was magically fixed :) A year later, my car is still running great. No further issues. So I recommend avoiding this place. My friend fixed the issue in five minutes for the price of a thank you coffee while this establishment took an entire business day to attempt to scam me into buying a whole new engine without clearing the code to allow me to safely drive home until I could afford their "fix." Anyone who knows the driving culture in Augusta would understand that driving under 45 is dangerous business around all the irritated, impatient car-owners in this city. I don't appreciate anyone who uses scare tactics to uneducated, trusting people. It's embarrassing to be treated as if I'm stupid when in reality, I never had a father to show me how to run simple tests on my car to try and resolve issues myself. Rather shameful to lure people in with Christian decor when taking advantage of people in my opinion, but that's just my thoughts.
