Ok I'm going to start on how horrible this place is. First, I would like to start with the service. The younger girl that did my hair was a bit nice, but the other women were a bit nasty. There was an older lady that mentioned that the hair color that she asked for didn't come out. So instead of fixing it. The employee just added a 5 minute color. Yes, a 5 minute color. What does this color last 5 days? Second, now I'm going to mention my horrible HAIR experience. I clearly asked for RED highlights. I even took a picture. She applied DARK BROWN highlights. I have dark brown hair. Uh! Then after the wash, she straightens my curly hair. Wait, I also asked for a haircut. The employee says, "I going to straighten your hair, and then cut it." I mentioned, "I've never had my haircut when it's straight. I've heard never to cut curly hair when it's dry or straight." She responded with such an attitude of, "I know what I'm doing". I my head I'm thinking, "just be quiet, and listen to girl with the scissors." Third, now this is on WAXING. I am just going to mention that I might have done a better job by applying Elmer's glue, and doing my own wax. This same employee just applied a small layer of wax on my lip and she said she was done. Forth, HD EYEBROWS. HD EYEBROWS is a seven process technique. This same employed skipped steps 1-6. She, which I believe just got a piece of black chalk and drew on my eyebrows. OMG! It was horrible. Fifth, this is worst part. When I got home my boyfriend asked. "Did you go to apply for a part in a gang, because your eyebrows look like a gangster." Yes, they were that bad. He also mentioned that there was dye on my shirt. I went to wash my hair, and yes there was still HAIR DYE in my hair. OMG! It literally took me 25 minutes to take it out. Uh! I recommend that no one step foot in this place. HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, PLACE!!!! read more

If I could give a zero I would. First of all it's in a really weird sketchy building with concrete flooring and concrete walls, but oddly had a very religious vibe with proverbs painted on the wall. I got a mani pedi deal for this place and was almost too scared to go in. I would have forfeited the money had I known, I purchased a deal from Amazon Prime. An 18 year old with facial piercings who couldn't possibly be certified did my nails. Not only were they crooked, but she painted my skin and didn't fix it. The pedi was done by the other woman and was better but I still could have done better myself. Honestly it wasn't even worth the deal price, I would wouldn't recommend this to anyone and I'm going to call the website I bought it from as well and let them know not to accept deals like this from these people. I have been going to Vienna for about 4 years now...she is funny, friendly and fabulous. I have gotten color (full highlights for years), Keratin and cuts and can't believe the prices and how quickly I can get in and out. I have full thick long hair, and when I used to get my hair fully highlighted it would take about 3.5 hours (and cost me upwards of $250). Vienna gets me in and out of there in about an hour and a half...and that includes cut and blow out. And the prices are the best in town - bar none. It's not fancy, so if you are looking for a spa-like experience, this isn't it. It reminds me of the Steel Magnolia movie - neighborhood place that cares about it's people. I had been here three times in the last year and was pretty happy with the place. Friendly staff, cheap prices, decent results.. what more can a girl ask for!? In August I went to a medium brown and haddent touched it since. This last week I came in to get my hair lightened to an omber type thing. The woman doing it was so friendly and I loved her! She had her 2 week baby in the shop with her and was very focused but was friendly. When I got home my family pointed out the line was diagonal with the dark "roots" above my ear on one side, sliding to below my ear on the other side. The color wrought brown, dark brown, then to a rust blonde. It was very patchy, and lazily done. I kept looking in the mirror in disbelief. I went to cost cutters to see what could be done. The girls all couldn't believe I haddent done it myself, and failed. They wanted me to wait until the next day at the earliest to do anything but I was so embarrassed I didnt want to leave like that! They braided my hair in a French braid to get me through work the next day and I went back as soon as I got off work. It took 5 hours of them fixing my hair that the girl initially spend under 2 on. My hair now looks amazing thanks to Cost Cutters in Golden! I called the manager trying to explain what happened and she got defensive of her employee. After being humiliated all I wanted was for her to make it better. I work with 1000 people a day at my job. I could believe she wouldnt apologize or make it right. She said " how do I know you didnt do something to it?" I told her I didnt and that I just wanted my money back to help cover some of the cost for the corrective coloring I had to pay for. By law they have to give me a refund but honestly, the way the owner treated me after such a bad experience I dont want to show up to get it for fear of being further scrutinize. It sucks. read more

This little salon is really close to my house and is now my go-to place for my hair. I love the ladies there, they are so nice and down to earth. The best thing about this place though, is the cost of the services! For about $30, you can get a partial highlight and a cut!!! Love it. read more

I signed up for a $23 mani/pedi and it was terrible. It looked like a home job from my 7 year old niece. The polish slid right of the nails in a solid piece an hour after the appointment. I have yet to get a returned call from the owner for a refund. The space is a dumpy closet. First the teenager doing the nails had on pajamas and slippers - literally. After my hands were dipped in paraffin wax the gunk was left under my nails. My nails were filed crooked and left with sharp edges and she got nail polish all over my skin without cleaning it off. The girl's mother did my toes. She lost me when she said her 14 year old soon still poops his pants. Don't waste your money or time. read more

This is the best place I have EVER been to get a haircut / color. I went here when I had a beauty emergency. I needed my hair styled and makeup done last minute for my engagement photo shoot. They got me in on short notice with little to no waiting. I have been there at least 3 times in the last month. I am addicted. They are always buzzing and busy but never take short cuts, always give personal attention, and try to get you in even as a walk in. All of the ladies here are fabulous with great personality and make you feel right at home. Not to mention the fabulous job they do at your services. I honestly felt beautiful for my engagement shoot , which is why I went back a couple of times to get my hair cut and colored. This is the best color I have ever received. I will not be going anywhere else to get my hair cut and colored ever again. Whats more is that they feel good about they job they are doing. They tell you how wonderful it looks and are very confident. Even further you come back and they remember you, remember your services, remember details in your conversation such a job, family, whatever. Its really nice to feel like they actually listened rather than waited for your money. Beyond the amazing experience at Classic Coiffures let me mention the AMAZING PRICES!!!! You couldn't get your haircut at cost cutters for as inexpensive as this salon (who would want to anyway right?) This place is comparable in pricing on a few things but mostly they are much less expensive especially for a personal salon rather than a family place you just walk in to go to. I got my hair and makeup done for less than what some places charged for one of those services. I would say the prices here , for the services offered are unbeatable. Everyone I overheard in the times I was there commented on pricing or said they would be back, some even made appointments. There were also many regulars which is not surprising at all considering how great the place and people are. Anyone I talk to about beauty I highly recommend Classic Coiffures and its staff. Since I have been I have taken my mother and three younger sisters, my grandmother and best friend are planning to make a trip. If you need any beauty treatments Classic Coiffures is the place. While I haven't experienced it first hand they also do facials and massage! What more could a woman ask for! I cant wait to have them do my hair and makeup for my wedding. Do yourself a favor and make an appointment for yourself today. This is the most deserving 5 star I have ever given. read more

I lived in the Denver area for years, and moved away in 2011, but anytime I am back in the area, I always make an appointment to see Clara. She is laid back and funny but is professional with her hair services. I know that when I go into Classic Coiffeurs, I can relax. I don't have to bring any pictures or ideas with me (although I have, and have never been disappointed) and Clara works her magic on my hair. My husband says after every visit to this salon, "Wow! Now your hair looks like it's supposed to!" I love what they are doing with the coffee shop next door as well. Lots of good things going on at Classic Coiffuers. HORRIBLE shellac manicure!!!! DO NOT go to this place for a manicure. You will be greatly disappointed. The staff was incredibly unprofessional and you could tell that the nail technician had no idea what she was doing. She blamed her awful shellac job on the fact that I had a dark nail color previously from my last manicure! If you got a weekly plus for this, don't even bother going. My polish peeled off 2 hours after I got them done, I had polish all over cuticles and even my skin, the nails were not filed even, there was no trimming of the cuticles or scrubbing of the nails. They barely even got buffed. The salon really needs to reconsider who they are hiring as far as nail technicians are concerned - family friends or not. Worst part of all, I was there for almost 2.5 hours!!! Probably the worst manicure ever. The staff knew how bad it was too and did nothing. read more

I've been getting my hair cut and keratin treatments from Vienna for over a year now. The prices are way better than anywhere else in Denver, the product is just as good, and the experience is better! I feel like I'm hanging out with family and friends with Vienna and Clara. If you like paying extra for fancy ambience, this place might not be for you, but if you just want great service and great company, then I highly recommend Classic Coiffeurs. I usually leave some extra time to work from the coffee shop next door after my appointment! read more

Zero stars!! The young girl that did my hair spent more time complaining about her alcoholic baby daddy, then on my hair. I asked for red hair and she died my hair hot pink. This place is OLD and DIRTY, NO CLASS...... I do not understand why they advertise what they do. Honestly the two owners should remodle the location, re-train all of thee workers and make sure the workers allow the customers to talk and make sure ther workers don"t air their dirty laundry. My sister, my daughter, my mother in law and I came to this place, We WILL NOT RETURN. When I called to make reservations I was assured they could handle 4 mani's and pedi's, well they only have 1 spa cahir, they put us on a nasty ass bench that was as hard as a rock, put our feet in old Hospital vomit buckets, we never got a "real" massage on out hands or legs. Horrible service, dirty and old location, I think they need a visit from TABATHA COFFEY No Joke. Tabatha Coffey this so called spa location is in need of your attention, if you are reading this please fly to Wheat Ridge, CO. Love you Tabatha Coffey This is the wroste Salon in the United States.
