Accidentally discovered restaurant. What a pleasant surprise!!! Our server, Hector, was highly attentive and an absolute joy. Cute little place with excellent service and delicious meat she Ladas. Very close to Marriott hotels... In the same parking lot. Very close to shopping and the highway. Our very accommodating server took care of our large group with ease and confidence. We felt we were very well attended to and did not have to look for his bright smiling face when eating and needing an additional drink. Picked this little place based on its proximity to my hotel: across the parking lot. They have pretty good veggie tacos. I've never had one with grilled cucumber in it, and it was a good addition. The salsas were different than any I've had before (from Chicago, Cabo, New Mexico, or California). One was creamy... wad it actually mayo? I have no idea. The other was brown with shredded carrots. Meh, I've had much better tacos from other places. It's sort of hard to ruin tacos but they did. I got the steak tacos and they didn't taste good at all. The meat had ZERO flavor! It was bland and had quite a bit of fat. It also wasn't tender. My teeth started hurting after having to chew on the meat so much. How can someone get away with cooking meat like that? I had to add some guacamole and chile in order to eat a couple of the tacos. I couldn't even finish because they tasted so bad. They also didn't come with lime. The tortillas tasted old and hard. I have to say their charro beans were tasty and had a good flavor. I also ordered their nachos and they were pretty good. They had plenty of cheese, beans, tomatoes and jalapenos. The cheese was good. A muenster or mozzarella cheese was used, rather than the yellow orange liquid cheese. I remember their tacos tasting much better in the past. Went into Clasico for a drink and dinner and the service was excellent, there was a minor issue with my food, however the manager handled it quickly and was very apologetic and professional. Came here to try their red beers and I was not disappointed! I love red beers and my sister recommended this place. They have an assortment to chose from between micheladas (lime juice) and clamatos (red beers). I got the mango clamato; it came with a celery stick, mango pieces, chile rim, and a tamarindo stick! The mango pieces were semi frozen, and I love frozen fruit, they just melt in your mouth. Their unique special sauce that they add in all of their clamatos is sooo good! Needless to say, it was the best mango red beer I've ever had (no exaggeration). My sister got the beach Clamato which comes with clams. She said she enjoyed the taste, but it was too many clams for her to finish. Her boyfriend got the mango miche chamoy, with a pear beer (it's his favorite thing to order). The food and drinks are great. I have an issue with the smoking that is allowed on the patio. 3 separate tables were smoking with kids around. It completely ruined the lunch. Should I have to go inside on a beautiful day because some has a bad habit that affects literally every single person within a 30ft radius. I asked the manager to please inform the patrons that their disgusting habit was not LEGALLY allowed within 20 feet of a public place. He did not bother to do anything. I will be filing a complaint with the city and will continue to do so until laws are followed for those who do not want to breathe in carcinogenic air while trying to eat a meal. Cool little restaurant tucked away between two hotels. They serve Clamatos and Micheladas, something I haven't experienced in such a way where I'm from. They had some fun selections and it was tasty! The queso fundido was awesome with their fresh tortillas and the toro eggs were awesome, though they had quite a kick of spiciness. My co-worker has the tacos and he said they were awesome. However, I recently went (about 3 days ago) & I was charged 4 times. Yes. FOUR. I paid $100 instead of $25 & when i called in to talk to someone about this I was told the manager wouldn't be at the restaurant until 3 and asked for my info so that he/she could call me back when they got there. 24 hours later & no call. Incredibly slow and subpar service! I chose this restaurant due to it being in the same parking lot as the hotel I was staying and needing something quick. I was by myself and got seated at the saddest little table in a corner that you could tell they use for staff breaks with the seats being collapsed in. The gentleman waiting on me barely glanced in my direction when taking my order. That I can overlook, but taking more than 40 minutes to get an order out that was just (cold) tacos is pretty bad. The whole time I was waiting he walked by multiple times without saying anything and finally a few minutes before my order arrived threw a small bowl of chips on the table and told me it would be out soon. I really tried to smile and be pleasant but looking back wish I would have walked out. Also, there should be a warning that the beans would have huge chunks of tripe in it.
