To put it plainly, purchasing a used vehicle from Clark Hyundai has become one of the biggest regrets I have had in recent memory. In mid-December 2025, I scheduled an appointment to look at a used Toyota they had listed in inventory. I arrived for my appointment, test drove the vehicle, and raised a few concerns that could have impacted my decision to purchase. When we returned to the dealership, I was then informed that the vehicle I had just test driven had already been sold and was only awaiting pickup. That was the first major red flag. How does a customer schedule an appointment earlier in the week, arrive to test drive a vehicle, and only afterward find out that the vehicle was no longer available? That showed a serious lack of communication and organization between sales and management. The salesperson then presented me with another option: a used 2013 Hyundai Tucson. I was told the vehicle had an "impeccably clean" inspection and service record. Based on that representation, I decided to move forward. I traded in my vehicle, put an additional $1,200 down, and left believing I had purchased a reliable vehicle from a reputable dealership. Unfortunately, that confidence did not last long. Approximately two months after purchasing the vehicle, and less than 3,000 miles later, I started the vehicle and was met with a check engine light. The code was P2006 for the intake manifold. I contacted the dealership hoping that, given how recently I had purchased the vehicle, there might be some assistance or at least a meaningful conversation about repair costs. Instead, I received little to no communication and was left with a $500 repair bill. At that point, I accepted the situation, although I was already disappointed. I assumed the issue had been properly addressed and that I would not have to deal with it again. That assumption was wrong. In early May, while driving, I noticed the vehicle's RPMs climbing while the speed remained stagnant. I pulled over, turned the vehicle off, and restarted it. The check engine light came on again. I returned home, used my OBD scanner, and once again received the same P2006 code. At that point, I called the dealership and explained that the same issue had returned after I had already paid them to repair it. I also explained that I am now back in East Glacier Park for the summer and do not feel comfortable driving the vehicle along Route 2 in its current condition, especially in areas with little to no cell service. I asked for assistance with towing the vehicle back to their facility so it could be diagnosed properly. I was told they would not provide a tow. This is extremely frustrating. The same issue appeared just two months after I purchased the vehicle, I paid $500 to have it addressed, and now the exact same code has returned. From my perspective, the original service did not properly resolve the problem. I have made multiple attempts to contact the dealership, including voicemails for the General Manager, emails, and even LinkedIn messages. Those attempts have gone unanswered. I understand that the vehicle was purchased "as-is," but hiding behind that does not excuse poor communication, a lack of accountability, or a failure to properly address a recurring issue. I was sold a vehicle that was presented as having a clean inspection and service history, and within months I have had repeated mechanical problems and almost no meaningful support from the dealership. At this point, I am not asking for special treatment. I am asking for basic accountability and a reasonable solution. I expected far better customer care from Clark Hyundai, especially considering how quickly these issues appeared after purchase and how the same issue has now returned after I paid their service department to repair it. I will not go anywhere else for my Hyundai needs - even with this dealership being 6 hours away from where I live! They have accommodated me in every single way possible. All of the individuals I've worked with (Josh/Brock/Brian) have made the new car buying experience better than I could have ever asked for. They are diligent, polite, knowledgeable, available and truly work to satisfy the customer. They gave me the best deal possible and they were beyond gracious with my trade in, making it even more of a no brainer to choose them as my dealer of choice. I had a 5 star experience today at Clark Hyundai. I am local to the Flathead for many years, but on a road trip a few weeks ago ended up buying a 2025 Hyundai Sante Fe Limited Hybrid on a whim in a different state. The vehicle is amazing, but a little smarter than I am. Called Hyundai help-line to help get set up with Bluelink, they recommend I visit a local dealer to help with software update. Made appointment, did the update with a complimentary car wash. Service staff was amazing and follow up great. My biggest 5 star review is with Veronica in Sales who spent at least 30 minutes with me showing all of the features of this amazing vehicle. I had my car serviced here. Sarah, my service advisor was great. Fast service at a reasonable price. While I was waiting I spoke to a salesperson who was very friendly and knowledgeable. I would definitely purchase a new car or have future service on my current one done here based on this experience. The service department has nice folks but the service manager (Patrick) is not the best. I had a 21 Palisade that came with some massive corrosion in a sensor connector. Patrick tried to claim that it was Ohs body shops fault as it had been in for a small repair and the connector was left unprotected in the Montana arid climate for 2 weeks! Bottom line is that it should have been a recall by Hyundai and Patrick would not stand up to defend his customer or have the dealer absorb the $150 dollar part. Patrick is a nice guy but for some reason he has no integrity and is a coward. Love the car but when you get poor service in the service department it will cost you a sale next time. Avoid at all cost. Wish I had read these reviews before doing business here. It is remarkably confusing how these people treat you, even knowing they may run into you in town one day. Very odd business choice, to completly rape people. These people sold me a grey market car. I havent bought a car in 20 years before this one, I had no idea what that was. They did disclose to me, through the carfax cause you cant hide that, that the vehicle originated in Canada, but had passed US safety regulations and had an American dash. Very quickly had a problem and had to go to Honda for support. They looked at car and told me that it cannot be serviced for recalls, or computer work, or key fob work without driving to Calagary. THAT was not disclosed to me. THAT is unethical. The wont return phone calls or emails, refuse to even talk to me about it. Sold it next door at Toyota at a market discount. Toyota who told me they disclose that information. Took 7k in the ass. ALSO, before all that, took car back to Nissan for service department to look at temp guage. I have a 1015 Sonata sport that had a valve cover leak at 50k miles failed to tell me that is not a warranty item and charged me 1k for the repair. On top of that I looked, and they snapped off two bolts on the underside of the engine and left the under skirt hanging. When I opened the hood now with a plastic bar as the hood doesnt pop up anymore with the lever. the intake manifold from the the filter to the intake was hanging. terrible mechanics without a care for anyone's car. Don't let the 100k full ya on warranty a valve head gasket is not warrantied so that is to say if your head gasket blows it is a wear item. Was a Hyundai Fan. read more

I had been looking for a Veloster N for 6 months. Every dealer near me in California either didn't have the configuration I was looking for, OR, was charging $7,000 to $15,000 above MSRP. One day I called up Clark Hyundai as I saw they had the exact spec I was looking for. A salesman by the name of Tanner picked up the phone, and the rest is history. These guys went above and beyond to make everything happen. They were patient, honest, transparent, and they took care of booking shipping for me. Finally, they didn't charge an insane markup like everyone else, but instead an asking price right next to MSRP. This is easily the best dealer experience I have ever had. Was informed that when it arrived the price would be raised to $34,950 due to the popularity and scarcity of the model. The price switch happened during the course of the phone call. I understand dealer prep, and documentation fees but to raise the price from what is advertised by 14% because of popularity of the model? Just because they can! They refused to do any of the repairs after they wasted my time in getting the estimates they asked for. I have not received the reimbursement of the late charge charge to me for their error. I had to call them to get my title hard telling how much longer it would have taken them if I hadn't have called they do terrible business they don't return your calls or emails.
