I'd been getting my tattoo laser removal for over a year at another location and I've noticed more difference with the few times going to essentially bare than I ever did at the other place! I kept getting told there was a special $50 October…read morediscount if I came in for Botox, only to learn that the discount wasn't limited to October, and it was based on Alle points I'd earned to my personal account--which is to say, I kept getting told there was a discount that didn't exist. Worse, the discount was my own points! When I asked for the specifics of how much each unit of Botox would cost after I found out that there was no "October discount," the owner Kelly blocked my number--all because I wanted clarity on how much money they were going to charge me. I personally needed to wait until November to get Botox for medical reasons, but I made an October appointment in order to obtain a discount that Kelly invented out of thin air. Don't call them out for how they make you feel when they're doing their swindling either, because as soon as they have your money, they're on the run with it, and no, they don't care how you feel, and yes, they'll hold it against you. They tell different customers different per-unit per-brand neurotoxin prices, nothing is listed, and yes, they'll bilk you for every penny they can unless you nail them down on how much something costs, which again is impossible without getting told they don't want you as a customer if you're going to question them about it. The customer service is challenging because the woman I saw for Botox made comments like "I just work here" when I asked for pricing information. Marcy was great, but she is obviously ill-suited to this particular management. It's impossible to obtain straight basic answers and you can tell this doesn't sit right with certain employees--I called to ask for an estimate on something, and the woman who answered kept saying "I don't really know because I don't do that procedure." This same employee started a consultation on a machine she does understand but because she smelled like she'd put on half a bottle of perfume I had to breathe through my mouth the whole time--not exactly a place that screams "medically sound" when the person doing a consultation smells like she prefers perfume to washing. The communication in general is whackadoo. They have someone answering the text line ready to tell you they don't personally know the information you're asking about and you should call the owner instead, but maybe not today because they don't know when the owner is in. The also have an AI monitoring the text line that will cancel your appointment for you without you asking it to, which is extremely frustrating when attempting to get answers, and then the owner also texts from the same number like it's her own cell phone, and no one knows what the other texters are saying, creating heaps of confusion. I got Botox done here and it wore off in a month...a far cry from the 3-4 months I was promised. I was also told by the owner to get Xeomin, not Botox (even though it seems at EB the two cost the same, which the don't anywhere else), in my masseters...except the internet is pretty explicit that Xeomin diffuses very easily and, in the masseter region, this can mean serious damage to the ability to smile or chew. The owner is wretched--don't question her, or ask her prices, or tell her you feel duped when you were told there was a special time-limited discount that doesn't actually exist. I'm glad Yelp loves Kelly, because I can't imagine even her employees like her very much.

I've been coming here for close to 8 months now and have had 6 treatments…read more First one was on my neck(left side) and I was able to get a cover up tattoo after ONE treatment and the pain was a little bad, but not terrible. I had Nova and she was very kind and quick. Second session and third were on my left forearm(The top then underneath) it has faded a ton. It still even fades a little each day. I still need at least 2 more treatments, but one got me 1/3 of the way. I had Maya the second time, who was very kind and entertaining. She made feel very welcome and comfortable! The third time I had Chelsea and she is just the sweetest person ever! The fourth and fifth was on my shoulder blade through the top of my arm and damn it hurts like hell... but again Chelsea was quick and very attentive. It has been about 5 weeks and the piece is almost gone! One part was went over twice and it's just unbelievable! I have an appointment for a cover up piece at the end of the month. And the final was on my other shoulder blade through the top of my left arm. It's been 2 weeks and it's melting away day by day. Finding this place has changed everything and I'm so excited for all of the new pieces I have coming soon thanks to tataway!!!

That being said, when I signed up, I purchased their smallest package for a very small tattoo for $1500. Since my purchase, they have had multiple 50% off sales, so I definitely feel that I got a bad deal and would advise anyone to wait for their sales to make a purchase. I've also looked into other places that are not as expensive, although I can't comment on the quality of their associates or removal process. I'm writing a review prematurely to the finish of my tattoo because I have been told every time I come in to write a review, and I don't prefer to write reviews before the job is done but I know they will ask me again at my upcoming appointment. I would prefer not to be reminded of writing a review every time I come in, as I do write reviews regularly and I will update the public when I feel it is necessary. I would suggest to the business owner that they refrain from pressuring customers into writing reviews at every visit.

They have portfolios of the artsists' work on the website. Based on Yelp reviews, I chose Andy Reach and he was great. In order to reserve your timeslot, you send a deposit to your artist (I chose to do so via Venmo), for me it was $60. After you receive the tattoo you pay the remaining amount, $40 for me. [Note: $100 is the minimum fee at Redemption, even for a small tattoo like mine. I was happy to pay that knowing I'm working with a great artist at a reputable shop, but you can probably find cheaper for small, single-color tattoos elsewhere.] Don't forget to tip too! Andy did a great job on my tattoo. I had a really specific design (the 3 stars from the corner of the page in the Harry Potter books) and he copied it exactly. He was very honest and upfront with me about what size and location would last well instead of promising something that would never work long term. I left with a slightly bigger tattoo than I'd anticipated, but I feel confident that it won't fade or blur like the smaller size I'd initially planned on. All in, I was probably under the needle for 20 minutes tops. It felt like someone digging their fingernail into your skin. Sure, it hurts, but no biggie. A month and a half later, my tattoo has healed really nicely and looks great. It bled a little bit the first night but other than that healing was fairly quick and easy. I will absolutely come back to Redemption and Andy specifically if/when I decide to get my next tattoo.

They admitted they should have notified me, but by then I had already driven there and rearranged my day. As an athlete, I can only schedule these treatments on my one day off each week because I can't work out for 24 hours afterward. Morning appointments are already extremely difficult to book, so having one wasted because of poor communication is incredibly frustrating. What disappoints me most isn't just the mistakes--it's how they're handled. Both times I received an apology, but there was no meaningful effort to make things right.
