Thank you to Theresa and Liz! ***PRP Facial, Dermaplane, ClearLift*** Theresa, you are a beacon of light, you welcomed me to Boston years ago with a series of 6 PRP Facials, it was an essential reset for my skin! It's been 6 months since my last facial, thank you for welcoming me yesterday (Aug 12, 2020) with open arms (but not touching, Covid style of course). Liz is thorough, gentle and it's a treat to be on her table! She gave me excellent feedback on my current routine during my Dermaplaning. She also introduced me to the ClearLift (like a lunchtime facial), it's fantastic! My skin is glowing and the area around my mouth & between my eyebrows is more plump, like my skin took a big drink of water! Parking is available right across the street, under the Starbucks. read more

Kristina is the best! As an esthetician, she really took the time to review my current product use and skin care concerns to then tailor my facial. She is super informative and prioritizes your comfort. The experience was overall super relaxing. My skin looks and feels great, I can't wait to go back! read more

I love Teresa and everybody there!!!! Truly some of the best people on the planet. It's one of my all-time favorite places to go. Very professional and just excellent at everything they do. They have a clear laser which I find to be very effective and I have seen phenomenal results on my neck. It's absolutely painless which is such a bonus. They are amazing with plasma and microneedling which is also been incredibly successful for me. It's a beautiful, fun, positive environment and I'm just grateful for them. love Love LOVE read more

I had been wanting to do laser hair removal forever but never went for it. I was never sure who to go to. I have previously gotten a facial/dermaplane at Sound Shapes (and loved it!) so when I saw they had a sale on laser hair removal I went for it -- and I'm so glad I did! It was done by Sarah, who was so nice and explained everything to me, and made sure I was comfortable the whole time - and the best part is that it didn't hurt really at all! Obviously everyone's pain levels are different but for some reason I was expecting the worst - and it was the opposite! I'm excited to finish my treatments in time for summer and also try more services they offer. Highly recommend :) read more

Theresa and sound shapes are the best. I got to Sound Shapes for regular treatments and I absolutely love it. I love the convenience of it being right in the north end. Then Theresa saved the day the week of my wedding. I had an unwanted acne breakout and so did my mother. Theresa stayed late and made time for us she brought us in and did treatments that really helped. It made it so our break outs where barely noticeable at the wedding. It was Amazing. Truly a life savor! read more

Run here! Do not walk. (Okay, walk or drive if it's raining or snowing). I love this place. There is a reason that the owner, Theresa, is jokingly referred to Mother Theresa. Because this woman is so knowledgable, patient, empathic, honest and caring ...that she's like a damn saint! But she definitely doesn't look like a dried up old nun. She looks - for her age or for any age: incredible. Radiant. Gorgeous. Full of life. That's the type of professional I trust with my skin. I live in LA but I see her whenever I'm in town to visit my father. I've done PRP with microneedling and experienced, on my face/neck, beautiful results. My skin just GLOWED. I just did a second procedure (shhhhh, I'm not telling you unless it's in a DM, ha) that will take around 6 weeks to give results. I'll update later on. Anyway, this place is incredible. If you come, you will see. read more

Mother Theresa makes great apple pies. Delicious. Instead of paying for treatments, I think the clients should start paying for pies.

This place is amazing! I looked into several spas in the Boston area and after doing some interviewing decided to make an appointment at Sound Shapes - Great decision!! The staff is always friendly and the overall vibe is welcoming and unpretentious. The owner, Theresa, is so knowledgable, kind, smart, and honest. I really trust her with my skin and trust her advice. Also - She looks incredible! I've done PRP with microneedling and Clear Lift and have loved the results. My skin looks so healthy and toned! The customer service, the staff's level of expertise, as well as the procedures and treatments offered all make Sound Shapes the best at what they do! read more

This has to be one of my best experiences time and time again. The best way to refresh yourself and manage self care and the staff is above and beyond professional. You are the only one in the room when you enter and when you leave as you are treated like a very special client at each visit. This valuable experience makes you feel like you are entering you're own private bubble of comfort and happiness. Theresa, Virginia, Liz and Emily extended family and the portal to transformation and wellness. Thank you. read more

I have been very indecisive to get Botox because of the horror stories I have heard, I am also PETRIFIED of needles! I am SO happy I went to Sound Shapes! Nurse Emily is so informative, kind and very experienced. I could barely feel a thing!! She also taught me so much about the face and body and eliminated any myths In regards to certain services I had been considering. I am so glad I went to Sound Shapes and I highly recommend it! read more

I had a great experience at Sound Shapes. I would 100% recommend to my friends and family. This was my first facial and I had a lot of questions about the service and skincare in general. Kayla is extremely knowledgeable and made me feel very comfortable. She answered all of my questions and gave honest advice about what she would recommend for my age/skin type. After the service she wrote down some of the key ingredients I should look out for when buying new skincare products and gave more information on other services I was interested in learning more about. I honestly felt like I was chatting with a friend about my skin. I didn't feel pressured to purchase any additional services or products which is such a relief for me. My skin felt amazing after the service. I went back to purchase two of the products. I will definitely be back to try more services. read more

The staff was very professional, caring and friendly. They made me feel welcoming and at ease before, during and after my cool sculpting sessions. The results were better than expected and I would highly recommend them! read more

I had a great experience at Sound Shapes. Theresa is very professional and kind. She answered all of my questions and helped me in every step of the way during my loss journey that involved the HCG diet. It was safe and I appreciated the guidance of such knowledgeable team. I exceeded my goal and feel amazing. I am now more mindful of serving sizes, portions, and my overall health. I would highly recommend Sound Shapes and working with Theresa and her team! read more

I have just had my first visit today at Sound-Shapes. I usually wouldn't get into detail in this sense, but I feel like putting it out there on how great this staff is would be nothing short of needed. Now, as an individual who identifies as female but was burdened without that body, these women took me in and worked with clearing the Brazilian zone. Initially, I feel a sense of anxiety due to having them doing something that would typically be very uncomfortable for most technicians, but Kayla made it a point to make me feel as relaxed as possible. Theresa, the owner of the studio came and introduced herself to me as well and made extra sure that I wasn't uncomfortable. They were very patient and open to requests and suggestions as needed. I walked out of there with a smile. I really did. The appointment was very last-minute and these two women really brought what it means to be customer oriented to the table. I went to this place because of all of these high reviews and I will say, these reviews are spot on. In short, if you need to get any services that are performed by this clinic, come here. It really doesn't get any better. :) read more

I love this place! Theresa is so kind and gentle and takes her time with the services she does. She uses numbing cream which helps with the pain if you are having tattoo removal. I have been other places and they do not! She even leaves you sitting with ice after to make sure your skin cools down before sending you out the door. I have had the bioidentical hormone pellet therapy which has really balanced me out. I have friends that have gone elsewhere and not gotten good results. Theresa really knows what she is doing and cares about her patients. If you are contemplating any of the services they offer here come here you will be so glad you did! read more

This VASER Shape Cellulite Reduction Treatment Center located in Boston's North End delivers on its promises. The was it works is that the technology removes fat - fat is what causes cellulite. So basically VASER Shape removes fat & cellulite which results in Body Sculpting / Shaping. So it is three results in 1. It took me 5 sessions to get the results I wanted but I noticed results after 1 session. I called around a lot and they offered the best pricing. They also offer free cellulite treatment consultation. I've did a ton of online research about cellulite removal and VASER Shape is the least invasive. It doesn't hurt at all. It really works. So if you are looking to get rid of fat & cellulite and don't want liposuction plastic surgery - this is the way to go. Just remember it may take more then one VASER Shape treatment to get the results you want. The Cellulite Treatment Center of Boston is professional and the space is beautiful. If you want to park - just remember this is the North End soit did take me a few minutes to find a parking spot. read more

Virginia is the sweetest and most thoughtful aesthetician I have ever known. I have been seeing her for a few years for lash lifts and she does a fantastic job and puts you at ease immediately. The treatment ends up being calming and relaxing just working with her. She's fantastic and I am a fan of the whole operation and will likely start doing more services there too! read more

Just left Sound Shapes after my first career facial and I must say; it was absolutely incredible. Kayla is beyond personal and professional - obviously I didn't know what to expect and have no idea about the processes and technicalities involved with a facial but I can tell you that my face feels magical. I highly recommend any guy reading this that is pondering trying their first facial, go for it, it's great and so is Kayla! read more

Sound Shapes has been my skin care go-to for a little over a year now. Reading Yelp reviews led me to this spot in the North End & I knew I found a gem the second I met the team for a complimentary consultation. Now, my sessions with Kayla (for both laser hair removal & facials/peels) are something I look forward to each month. Kayla's professionalism, knowledge & bubbly personality make each session fun - while leaving my skin feeling soft. You can't ask for much more than that! She truly wants her clients to look their best & that alone is enough to make anyone feel comfortable. Whether it's a product recommendation or an adjustment to my skin regime, I know I can count on Kayla for guidance. I love that I've found Sound Shapes - they care about their clients & I would 100% recommend their services to anyone! read more

2 stars for good service. Spent more than $1400 see no results for my smile lines. Yes I was told there won't be dramatic change and I don't expect that. However, there's just no change at all. read more

Kayla is wonderful! This place is amazing. Kayla walked me through my service step by step, was fun to talk to and very knowledgeable about the procedure and questions I had and I saw great results. I highly recommend Sound Shapes and plan on returning soon. read more

LOVEEEEE this place! Kayla is amazing! I went here to try peels as I wanted to look and feel my best for my wedding. Working with Kayla has been the best experience. The place is very clean and I am always able to come in on a lunch knowing I will be seen right away and not wait. Kayla takes the time to answer any questions and explain things. It almost feels like I am going to hang out with a friend as we talk about everything while I am there. I highly recommend checking out Sound Shapes and if you do go to Kayla!!! read more

This is a great noninvasive way to lose inches. Most importantly the staff at Sound Shapes is helpful, supportive, and very well informed. I have not gone in for my treatment yet, but I feel extremely prepared and am looking forward to it. What woman or man wouldn't want to lose an inch off their waste in just 45 minutes? Tighten up their arms? Get rid of their love handles? Best part is, there is no surgery needed. Vaser uses ultrasound topically to decrease the volume of fat in problem areas and then tighten the tissue. All you need to do is make sure to drink a lot of water. Sign me up! read more

After years and years of killing myself in the gym and following a super clean eating plan (at the competitive level) I was still not 100% happy with the way my lower body appeared. So when I saw a Living Social Deal for a Vaser Shape treatment, I did my research and bought the deal and met with Theresa at Sound Shapes for my consultation. Theresa was extremely honest and helpful, although I would see results from the one treatment I purchased if I had a series of a few more the results would be much more dramatic....Theresa was not a high pressure sales person type, rather a nurse giving very truthful and trusting advise. I have to say I am 100% thrilled with my results, so much so that I ended up purchasing a few more treatments for another area. I wish I had found this gem of a place years ago, Alyssa who performed my treatments is just a sweetheart. She makes you feel like your having coffee with a friend while getting a hot stone massage...I could spend the whole day here LOL! I am finally happy and confident with the way my lower body appears, no more cellulite, tighter skin and although I was not looking for overall circumference loss..well that's just another bonus!! I would highly recommend Sound Shapes, the staff is top notch (even parked my car for me when I could find a spot!!!) and the procedure really truly works! As a fitness professional I feel confident referring my clients to Sound Shapes, let's face it there is only so much working out and clean eating can do, the rest is genetics and Sounds Shapes has a solution! read more

I first visited sound shapes to get some PCA products Bc they came up on PCA'S website. The space is cute and clean. They offered me a free facial to talk about my concerns with my skin. I saw kayla she is super nice and I felt comfortable with her and we talked like she was one of my friends. I then returned for a lash lift treatment. I've always wanted to get fake lashes or something to make them curled but was hesitate Bc I didn't want the up keep of it. I had the lash lift treatment done and it looks great, my lashes with mascara on (I have blonde lashes) look so curled and long. They look fake but in a good way! I immediately told a few friends and showed them mine. They all made an appt the next day. If your looking for great skin care or for your lashes to looked curled ( they lash up to 12 weeks from one time) then I would deff suggest going to sound shapes. I will be going back soon for a facial with kayla ! read more
