All I wanted was a burger and and a beer. When I entered, I was told I could sit anywhere, I asked if I could sit outside and they told me, yes. I went out and grab a table and the waitress asked me what I wanted. I told her and she brought me the beer and a menu. I wasn't ready to order right away, so she left and NEVER CAME BACK! I went inside and sat at the bar and was completely ignored by both servers. I finally had to ask if I could pay for my beer and she asked if I wanted any food and I told her, Not any More. Had a tough time deciding between 3 & 4 for this place. Went with 4 because of the value. The food was decent, but not great. Service was similarly good, but not great. But the prices are great. Definitely a dive bar atmosphere, with pictures of senior baseball players all over the place. Overall, probably won't go back, unless I happened to be in the area and want a cheap burger. read more

It's a dive with great food. Their thin crust pizza is so good!! As long as you know it's a dive, the atmosphere will not disappoint. If you're expecting anything trendy or upscale, search elsewhere. Located outside of downtown Jordon, right off HWY 169 is local dive bar and pizzeria, Clancy's. I have driven past this place dozens of times and always wanted to stop. Unsuspecting and truthfully someone trashy looking from outside, these tend to be some of the best places to check out. The interior matches the exterior of the building, somewhat run down and dated. However, it is comfortable and homely. The staff is very inviting and friendly, promptly greeting me and taking a drink order. Much to my surprise, this place has an excellent tap and can beer selection. Plenty of local craft beers you wouldn't expect to see in a local, farm town bar. I ordered a pizza and an app sampler. The app sampler was mediocre, with everything being a familiar frozen bag product. The pizza was EXCELLENT. An ample amount of toppings, spread evenly throughout. Crust had a nice crunch to it but wasn't hard. Could have maybe used a little more cheese but wasn't terrible. My only gripe is it seems d a little spendy for a small town bar. read more

Had lunch with my wife here today. We were greeted with a smile at the door and could have stayed all day. The food and service were great and Jake spent some time chatting with us like we were the only customers in the restaurant. We often come to Clancy's after Mass on Saturday nights. The food is always good and the service is great. Best fried chicken I've had in the Twin Cities. We haven't had dessert here, but they have a great selection of cheesecakes if you're interested. read more

I love this place. But anytime I order takeout, there's always something screwed up with my order. I ordered a burger with an additional side of onion rings. And I got a burger with no original side with a 1/2 side of onion rings and I got charged for a regular side order. So I'm missing my chips and the other half order of onion rings. Again, I love this place but they screw up on takeout orders. Would only recommend ordering inside. read more

A dive bar just off Hwy 169 serving pizza, chicken and burgers. We stopped in for lunch on a Saturday outing to the big candy store. It got sorta busy but we beat the rush a bit arriving at 11:45. This place is the very definition of small-town rural establishment and similar to places I remember from my youth in Wisconsin. A big rectangular bar takes up most of the rustic paneled space adorned with beer signs with a handful of small booths around the perimeter. Next door is a liquor store and A few older gentlemen were nursing beers at the bar. You aren't going here for the ambiance folks, or for that matter the service (pretty slow and inconsistent). It's all about the tasty chow. I was torn between the pizza and the broasted chicken but decided on the pizza which arrived after a longish wait. As I had hoped, this is true "tavern-style" pizza served piping hot. What is tavern-style pizza you ask? Thin crispy crust with a rich tomato sauce, savory sausage in big clumps and a good amount of cheese. They come in 2 sizes, 10" and 14" and the 14" was plenty for two people with a bit left over. Judged by the restaurants in the cities, this would be 3-stars due to service and ambiance but in rural Jordan it's a standout. Worth a stop if you are in the area. read more

I've eating here twice now. First time I ate there I had the pizza. The service was excellent and courteous to me. The pizza came out hot and tasty. The bartender that helped me was Scotty. Nice man and genuine. Always made sure my glass was filled and cold!! Second time I was impressed. I asked the gentleman if the pork sandwich was good. He highly recommend it. Clancys is definitely my go-to place when visiting during Renaissance Festival weekends. It's a local, easy-going bar/restaurant that has cheap and tasty food/drink! The staff is always very kind. Keep in mind that it does get very busy at times so it can be a bit difficult to get a table, but I've usually been able to get seated at the bar quickly. Also an FYI that it does get quite hot inside so be prepared for that, they need to crank the AC up. read more

This is a nice place to have a quick bite to eat if you are in the beautiful town of Jordan. I had just finished watching a baseball game at the MiniMet. This place specializes in everything according to the menu and the signs outside the bar and grill. The horseshoe bar in the center provides plenty of seating for those single diners like myself but I chose to sit in a booth as it was a slow time. The place also has a party room type seating area in the back. The service was excellent but there were only a dozen people dining that mid afternoon. The drink order was delivered promptly and since it was a bar, coke and Pepsi products are served. I overheard a couple people order the chicken and saw a few burgers being served but I opted for the pizza. The pizza was served in about 15 minutes and it was HOT! Temperature wise I mean. The ingredients tasted very good and the single "meatball" sized sausage on each piece was perfect. The photos I took captured the appearance perfectly. What truly amazed me was how crisp the crust was. Not a soggy edge to be found. Not much special about the dining area but was clean. The elevated booths were cool but could have used a bigger TV. We were in the area on vacation to visit the mall of America and stopped at a local grocery store and saw this place across the street. On a different day we just coming from the Candy store and were a little hungry, so I said let's go there. At first glance It looked like a little dive bar so I asked if kids can be in the bar and was told yes se we went in. We sat and someone came to us right away and took our drink order (root beers for all) the pizza was great and fast. This place reminded me of a small town bar that I would have frequented when I was younger visiting my grandparents. It was by no means haughty in anyway, just your typical small town watering hole. The place was packed. I think everyone had the same idea visiting after the candy store. After a short wait; we were seated in a small booth. Ordered the thin crust pizza that was okay and the broasted chicken dinner that took forever. Our server did say that it would take a while, but it seemed to take a really long time. Was it worth it? Yes, however, the pieces seemed really small. Maybe they shrunk after being broasted for so long. Broasted in my opinion is the best way to go. Service was fair. Prices were very fair. If tonight was any indication, this is the place to be on a Saturday night. That said, you'll need lots of time to eat here, as due to the crowd, it's long wait times for every step of dinner. From order taking, drinks, meal, check; everything was a 15 to 45 minute wait. Our server was friendly and she was hustling, but the server to diner ratio was super high. Once the food came, it was only ok. The pizza- Audrey's Supreme and the All Meat, had crusts that were on the edge of being burnt and the red sauce was a bit bland. The burgers, fries, and onion rings were underwhelming. Pretty typical bar food. The broasted chicken breasts were the meal highlight with crispy skin and good flavor. If you're going for bar drinks and eating is secondary, this is an ok spot. If you're going for the meal, I might look elsewhere. read more

Oh! Where do I begin...?! This place serves us the best burgers (my fav is the Cali burger!) and pizza around! If you get a chance, try their fried pickles and those cheese curds paid well with that root beer they serve! If you have a chance to say hi to one of the owners, Randy, he's an all around good guy. Really great food here. Just happened to find it by accident it's hidden besides a taco bell. If youre travelling on your to Minneapolis or coming back from this place is a must! The burgers are transformed and simple. No frills but completely delicious! Meat, cheese and pickles. Do yourself a favor and order a piece of their fried chicken. It's fine for a local spot. No fountain soda so you pay 1.50 a can. Server rarely comes back to refill or see if ya need anything. So meh.
