I am not sure if this is because he is busy, or if it's early and the mood of the restaurant isn't fancy enough for him to be more inviting yet. We did have our orders ready so we're able to list them off to him quickly. He did not ask us any questions we just knew the information he would want so gave it to him; such as how our steak should be cooked and what sides we would like. We ordered a Valentine's Day special appetizer - Baked Brie with Raspberry and Baguette We ordered the Grilled Vegetable and Bull Bite salad to share. We both ordered the Valentine's Day special appetizer - Grilled Filet and Lobster. Mine rare, my boyfriend's medium rare. I chose smashed potatoes as my side and he chose quinoa side. After our disappointing experience with the person that took our order, we were greeted with the server that would be taking care of us for the evening. He was extremely pleasant. Immediately introducing himself, James. Told us that his co worker had took our order and that I was in and asked us what wine we were drinking. He was very friendly. I felt better about the experience after this, because if that first guy was our server and that was the kind of experience we were going to have tonight I would have been extremely disappointed. Especially after I've had good times at the White Bear location and talked this place up to my boyfriend. Baked Brie with Raspberry and Baguette - I loved this appetizer. Beware it comes with Walnuts if you are allergic. I was able to scrape the off the top of the Brie before eating it and survived. The gooey center was perfect for their tiny crostinis. I could eat this all day. Grilled Vegetable and Bull Bite salad - not enough grilled vegetables all I found was asparagus and onion. Although the blue cheese and salad dressing were incredible. Grilled Filet and Lobster - They had our steaks mixed up but that was no biggie. My rare steak ended up on my boyfriend's plate with his quinoa but we just swapped them. The steak was good but nothing impressive. Smashed potatoes - same, the green beans had an interesting twist that I felt like resembled more of an asian style dish, so an interesting combo. The lobster was cooked to perfection and was AMAZING! Great job on that!! My boyfriend's quinoa side was way better than the smashed potatoes on my plate so I'd recommend ordering them as your side dish. We didn't have enough room for dessert but if I did I wanted to try their Valentine's Dat special crème brûlée.

You serve pasta you serve pizza you should have real Parmesan available. Service was slow we had to ask for our water to be refilled more than once, and we sat with a dirty plates for about an hour. It still does a good business after all these years it was pretty busy.
