Decided to give this place a try before heading out to a Christmas concert tonight. Located right off MN-5 in a small business center strip. They have a small shared parking lot. Was greeted by staff right away and said we can seat ourselves. Inside style was more an older like setting but nice and clean. Walked past the front counter, open kitchen, then mini anti pasta salad bar and then the open mid sized dining room area. Shout out to our server Ally! She provided us with fast and friendly service which made our visit even more pleasant. Got our drinks and breadsticks. Breadsticks were not too thick but thin enough (which I liked) and was good. I ordered the Chicken Alfredo with the added one time salad bar option. I forgot to get the picture but they did have a good variety of options to pick from even though it was a small bar. The salad was good in my opinion. The Chicken Alfredo came out hot and was creamy and delicious. It came with garlic toasts too. read more

every time we place a order they mess it up. when we ordered 8oz of parm sauce which we got and then the bread stick sauce should come with 8oz and they give you 1oz. if the staff doesn't know how much 8oz's are they should not be working there. they used to be so good but the last 3 times we ordered from them is has been a nightmare. we will never go back. even when my work has ordered for an employee event they al messed up the order. read more

There is not a lot that delivers to St Boni, and this place was a life saver. Especially when there is a sleeping baby. I didn't know what to order so in true first time fashion (for myself) I ordered a whole bunch. Leftovers weren't a concern when the 1 year old pretty much eats anything and my brother does too. We ordered the meat pizza, it was ok for a pizza. Lots of toppings. Also ordered the garlic cheese bread or cheese sticks....still not sure which is which even though I asked and but in a hunger fog I selected one. Regardless it was awesome! They came with a good amount too. In addition I ordered the pasta sampler since it seemed like the place was known for the pasta possibly over the pizza. The sampler came with fettucine alfredo, ravioli and lasagna. The ravioli was a super flavorful and the lasagna was nice and hearty. The fettucine stole the show. There was a crazy cheese pull on top. My sister initially thought I was crazy for getting the pasta and after I tried it and told her the fettucine was amazing, she went back and then claimed the fettucine was officially hers. She told me the next day she gave some to the baby and the baby went crazy over it. We did have to call to order since there is not a online system and we did ask the driver to not ring the bell since the baby was sleeping and it was a non issue...the dogs barking at leaves in the backyard were the real issue... read more

Stopped by here fo a lunch with my daughter in between basketball clinics in Waconia. Was just around noon, and we were first in the dining room but others did show up a bit afterwards. Place was a bit hard to find as ticked back from the highway a bit. Server was very friendly and the lunch specials are a good value. Daughter ordered the fettuccine Alfredo- the bread was good and the noodles well cooked. The sauce though was a bit lacking, needed some salt and think also missing some garlic and maybe a bit more butter to make more flavorful. I ordered the lasagna which was alright, a bit more sauce then I would expect and like the alfredo it needed some salt and some additional Italian spices would make it more flavorful. I live in California and occasionally travel to Minnesota for work. I discovered D'Vinci's on one of my trips and now crave and look forward to having a salad with blue cheese and baked lasagna whenever I come to town. Their blue cheese dressing is so good I asked if it was sold in stores because I was hoping to be able to bring some back home (they don't..it's made in house). D'Vinci's catered our wedding last weekend and all I can say is WOW! They were the most wonderful vendor we worked with. Not only are their prices super reasonable, but the food is better than anywhere else! All our guests LOVED everything. Chris was also super great with communication, always friendly and upbeat, and super professional. We didn't even have to think about food on our day because everything was executed flawlessly. They also were super generous when we went to sample everything. It was a great date night at the restaurant! D'Vinci's was probably the first restaurant I noticed after moving to Waconia, and due to it's vicinity to our house, it is in easy walking distance for take-out, which we have done multiple times. We have dined in as well, but be prepared for a very small and cozy dining area. Positives: -Very good food, especially the pasta. Pizza is of the extra cheesy NYC style and is a nice change of pace from most of the other chains in the area. -Extremely friendly staff Negatives: -Prices are a little high, especially for pizza. -Very small dining area. I have not eaten at the Vinci's before. And never will again. For a meatball sandwich that consisted of an 8 inch piece of hoagie bread or Italian bread with one meatball it was over $10. And a small bag of chips. It was a major inconvenience for him to cut it in half and did not put it into containers for me but actually just tossed an empty container in the bag.. Love this restaurant! We've never dined in, only done take out here and at the Watertown location. Fav is the chicken Alfredo. Love that it comes with a delicious salad and garlic bread. We will be repeat customers for years to come as long as we live close by :) Only thing I wish is that they had an option to order a "family" size chicken Alfredo that would feed two adults and two small children. read more
