Fun time and great food. Family owned business has home made food and delicious barbecue smoked in the kitchen. Daily specials are tasty. Staff is friendly and great scene for kids.

The decor is what you would expect in a strip mall restaurant. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food has nice portions and was very tasty. This was a first try and I think we'll come here again.

Brisket sandwich, waffle fries, and cole slaw.

This establishment keeps popping up on my Facebook feed. Decided I'd give it a go after work...Linsey's is tucked in behind the Ford dealership in a strip with a Subway and an Asian hair salon. There's a NAPA across the street as a point of reference. Ordered the brisket sandwich, coleslaw, and spent the extra $1.49 to upgrade to waffle fries and seasoned sour cream. Fries were cooked well and the sour cream had hints of, I believe paprika and Lawry's. Coleslaw was creamy and featured strips of cabbage. The blend of cabbage/dressing was nearly perfect. No flavor overpowered the other. I was a little disappointed that the brisket came shredded, but the meat emanated a decent smoke flavor. The review that mentions the BBQ sauce is like gelatin is unfortunately accurate. At first, when it came out dripping, I thought it was a Carolina-style sauce, which I love. But then the glops came out. Too bad--I thought it had a good apple cider/tangy mixture otherwise. The other sauce on offer is Sweet Baby Ray's which seems to be the darling of Minnesotans. Far too sweet for me. My receipt said the gentleman helping me behind the bar was named JD. He was very friendly and checked back in with me multiple times. He had a waitress that would assist him by clearing used plates and glasses. Very reasonable beer prices. The happy hour price for a pint of Blue Moon was $2.75; the receipt indicated this was $1.00 less than normal. $3.75 is a good deal for a beer some places still charge a premium price for. 3.75 is also about where this review would land.

I had the Chicken Thai wrap and all of the ingredients complimented one another very well. I would definitely come back again.

Ribs, Mac and cheese and beans. Not good

Chicken nachos are pretty good 7/10. Ribs have obviously been sitting around for a while and were really dry 3/10. Rub is bland and unimpressive. BBQ sauce comes out like jello and is more like sugary gelatinous ketchup 2/10. Mac and cheese is probably the worst I have ever had 1/10. It was an overlooked, oily, flavorless mess. Cowboy beans (or whatever cute name they had for them) were not great either 4/10. Overall disappointing. I live in the area and was hoping for better.

Brisket sandwich had too much bread. Meat was ok. Need more sauce options. Remodel underway.

Bad customer service! Cold meat, white bread instead of a toasted bun like advertised. NOPE NOPE NOPE!

I was told that they only had burgers and that I wouldn't be able to find something here (since I don't eat beef/ pork)... I DID! They had a chicken or a fish sandwich. I had the chicken sandwich. Prices are reasonable and I was told they now make their buns from scratch!! They tasted fresh! Was it my favorite grilled chicken sandwich ever? No, but I was so happy they had one! I love love love the pickles on the counters and tables for you to add to your burgers. I am a pickle lover and yes, I added pickles to my chicken sandwich! Also, Get onion rings!!! I am still fantasizing about them! So crispy and seasoned to perfection. Drooling right now. Overall, they are a well oiled machine. We were in there after a funeral and only 2 people working. We were able to get served and one cooked everything. My family is large and we packed the place. They did amazing! Thanks again for the chicken sandwich, the pickles and the amazing onion rings!!! Oh yes... and 1919 rootbeer on tap! Win! You can also get a Heggie's, but with their burgers... get one or two of those instead!

I specifically made a visit after reading some reviews on their burger. This simple bar burger comes on a nice soft bun and topped with melty cheese. The bar top and tables throughout all have bins of pickles to add, which is think is awesome. The burger was decent but for the ridiculously cheap price it was excellent. The crinkle fries were perfectly fried. This burger would be a show stopper if they didn't use a frozen patty. It is a small town, local bar and they are keeping cost down and I appreciate that. I don't know if it makes sense to charge a buck or two more and use fresh ground??? I really enjoyed the space and the feel of the bar. The staff were friendly considering I was an out of towner.

They have their own beer on tap as well. The burgers were cooked to medium rare perfection and perfectly scratched the itch for a good ol burger. Prices cannot be beat and service is super speedy. These burgers are some of the best in the TC! Walking in, a very nice woman told us to grab a booth! This place feels so retro! They haven't made upgrades and that gives it a classic feel! We loved the vibes from the moment we walked in! This place has a minimal and simple menu! The wait staff here is very quick and almost too pushy. My boyfriend and I agreed it was very "diner style ladies" like if they knew you, they were nice but otherwise their main mission is to get you in and get you out! The wait staff was attentive, just not out of their way to be friendly. We both ordered the California with cheese which add lettuce, tomato, onions (fried or raw) and cheese. You can do a single or double. Oh my gosh these burgers were perfection! The perfect ratios and it basically melted In your mouth! These stand up to the hype! Along side we got the 1919 rootbeer, it was good but almost tasted flat. We also got a grape soda which is in a bottle and is a local brand! It was very tasty! The fries were a bummer. Tasted like they were from the freezer section... I honestly would skip these and get the bigger burger! Overall this place was nostalgic and worth the burger hype! It's a classic burger done right!
