Service was fast and friendly. I got recommendations from a nice lady sitting at the counter. She…read moreknew it was my first time there and recommended what I was pretty much going to order so I took that as a great sign. Sesig seemed a little small but was flavorful. It was very spicy for me but It was an addictive spice. To accompany this, I got an order of their stir fried green webs which had a sweet and savory flavor with a small hint of spice. Highly addictive. I liked these more than the Sesig. I don't mean that as a bad thing, but I'd go back just for these! Ambiance is loud. Lots of people crammed into a smaller space that is optimally situated to accept as many people as possible. Very organized and well oiled. The use of the radios among the loud crowd might not make this a good "date night spot" if you're wanting to talk or if you're fine with your discussion getting lost in the noise. The decorations are very islands inspired. Well worth the experience overall!

After we brought it to their attention they offered for us to sit at the bar, so passing us over with a reservation was acceptable!! The food is good but beware of the racist treatment!! Update for owner: When we're the only black party waiting after arriving early for our reservation and see people who arrived after us be seated before us, with no acknowledgment to us, what else are we supposed to think? No apology in the moment, only dismissed. You weren't at the front when this occurred and even the people who were seated before us, with the same reservation time and arrived after us offered to give us their table when this happened because they also knew what was happening wasn't appropriate! The customer offered! Not your staff! So there is a disconnect with what you expect and what's happening in real time. Train your staff better! Did your staff call to apologize? Yes, but 15 minutes later when we were already seated at another restaurant. (It's Buford Hwy, there's good food everywhere.) I asked to speak to a manager but wasn't allowed and asked for the managers name repeatedly but wasn't given it. So again, where is the disconnect? Your response only continues the issue that there is room for improvement, only denial about a situation you weren't present for. If the other customers saw how we were being treated and offered the table to us, your staff still in that moment did not feel the need to correct the situation and the only difference between the parties was race, then you tell me what were we supposed to think?

No fault to the restaurant and they cooked me a fresh batch when I got inside since they said my food was cold. For the food - I ordered the Bistec Rice Bowl with Garlic Rice and the Calamansi Wings. The Bistec was a bit tough and the garlic rice that I paid extra was extra oily and didn't really have enough garlic flavor like other Filipino restaurants I have been to. The Calamansi wings were disappointing - the crunch and crisp was there but the flavor was completely lacking. There was some like lime salt on the outside but there was no flavor to whatsoever on the meat that was cooked underneath the skin. I thought the wings would be marinated in a special sauce then fried but that wasn't the case. Nice staff but I'm not sure that I would go back to try the other stuff.

Didn't care as much for the bok Choy but I'm willing to get it again for a second try. Also the tired the pork rolls for appetizers. Quite tasty with a delicious sauce. New go-to lunch spot in my area! I'll get pics next time.

Kuyas Food Express in Duluth City Farmers Market…read more I finally tried this Filipino food stall after seeing so many recommendations, and here's everything I ordered. Sizzling Sisig Comes with chopped pork, sour-style dressing, sunny side up egg, and rice. Best part is letting it sit longer on the hot plate so the pork gets slightly crispy and more flavorful. Adding extra lemon really enhances the taste. Only downside, the rice stayed too long on the plate and became a bit too hard to chew. Tokwa't Baboy Crispy pork with fried tofu in a sour soy-fish sauce. The pork was a bit fatty for my preference, but the crispy skin was really good. The fried tofu was the highlight, it soaked up the sauce and was super flavorful in every bite. Halo Halo Ube ice cream, flan, shaved ice, condensed milk, and mixed fruits like banana and sweet potato. Very refreshing and sweet. The flan was amazing, just wish the portion was bigger.

I ordered the pork skewers and they were absolutely amazing. Super flavorful, smoky, and tender. It was actually one of the best things I've had at the festival. I had never heard of them before, but I'm so glad I came across their stand. I'll definitely be visiting their restaurant soon to try the rest of their menu!

I have always seen this place but never went inside so my boyfriend and I took the time to make our…read moreway here. In a shopping center with TONS of parking sits food terminal! It's an asian restaurant food that offers seating inside and outside. Once we entered we were seated immediately and handed menus. Their menus are super cool and unique and are a bit overwhelming but nevertheless full of so much variety. The waitress was very sweet and checked in on us periodically and helped us fill out our sheet to place our order. We ordered a plethora of stuff such as crispy bulgogi bao buns, brushed sprouts, steamed dumplings, mango chicken and a noodle plate. Food didn't take long for it to come out on their little robot and staff helped put everything on the table. Everything smelled and looked amazing so it was tough to decide what to taste first! I first tried the crispy bao bun and was blown away by the flavor it had! It was like a mini burger. After that I tried the steamed dumplings and they were so yummy and specially with the sauce. Next I tried the Brussels sprouts and they were necessary my cup of tea but still good! Just wouldn't order again. Second to last thing I tried the mango chicken and man was it good!!! Full of the best aroma and flavor and cooked to perfection. The plating was also gorgeous as well!! We finished off with mango sticky rice and It was good but I do wish it had more mango to help the ratio. Overall, it was a really good visit and I was excited to try it out. It was a bit pricey but we did order a lot so it may be a special occasion once we come back again but I'd definitely be back!

It's been a hot minute since I've been to Food Terminal, but I came back with a group if friends…read moreand had a decent time. It was busy inside, but our party of 10 was promptly seated, though we were a little squished into a circular table. I didn't remember this last time, but instead of telling a server what you want, you mark it down on a paper menu and hand it to the server. This time I got the Grandma's BBQ Pork Noodles and the Salted Egg Yolk Shrimp Garlic Noodle. I was really excited to try both since they both sounded so good. Ultimately the Grandma's BBQ Pork Noodle was a little underwhelming - the noodles themselves weren't very flavorful, and the BBQ pork was on the drier side. The pork did have decent flavor, and all the toppings/side items (wontons, fried egg, bok choy) were great, but all in all fell a little short of my hopes. The Salted Egg Yolk Garlic Noodles had better flavor, but I could've used even more garlic and butter. The shrimp definitely carried the salted egg yolk flavor, but the fried batter was a bit soggy/soft in my opinion. I wished it was crisper. Service was a tad slow, but perhaps they're understaffed and/or it was busy that night. I do love the menu concept of positioning it like a magazine catalog - it makes for a fun experience instead of just words on paper

Best dumplings that I have EVER had. Ever…read more I visited Mushi Ni one afternoon while at The Works and when I saw the dumplings, I knew I had to check them out. I initially planned for the bao buns only, but the prices were quite reasonable thanks to the $16 lunch special - so I thought I'd try a bit more. So glad that I did. Mushi Ni has an electronic ordering system which was really easy to navigate. I chose my lunch special and added in my dumplings, and poof - the order was on the way to the kitchen. I walked around the food hall for a few so I don't really know how quickly my order was completed, but when I returned, the guy behind the counter saw me and started bagging it up. I found a seat outside for some natural lighting and started snapping away. I really went to enjoy and share the bao buns but figured I'd have a quick bite of the dumplings and keep it pushing. Listen. WOW. I was immediately taken aback because, what?! They were spicy, so savory and full of pork, with a little punch of lime in there somewhere. I didn't even need to have a second bite before I decided that I *had* to order a second round. Wow. The fries were also phenomenal! Super crunchy, the seasonings on top were such a nice touch. And the trend continued with the fluffy, flavorful bao buns. Seriously just an all-around amazing experience. I thought I'd enjoy their food but this experience exceeded my expectations. I can't wait to have more of those dumplings!

Shout out to the Thai tea martini, very yummy! Service was great, and it's very aesthetically pleasing inside.
