Second time at CK Nails. First visit was great, so I came back. Big mistake. I got a pedicure and a simple acrylic overlay on my own short, natural nails. No tips. No extensions. Before starting, I asked the price and was told $70. There was no clear pricing posted for overlays and nothing was explained differently. At checkout, I was suddenly told my total was $120. When I questioned it, I was told it was because of the "overlay." That was never clarified upfront. No breakdown. No price list. Just a new number at the register. That's not how you run a business. On top of that, the tech was on her phone during my service and communication was limited. The whole situation felt unprofessional and uncomfortable. I paid $100 just to leave, but I will not be returning. Confirm your pricing clearly before sitting in that chair. I see why they have negative reviews read more

One of the "5 dollar extra" nail places. Spend your money elsewhere. Charged me 5 extra dollars to take my nail polish off my toes.

Two stars because the guys was confident that he did a great job . LOL, so i came in for a refill & had about 4 nails that had do be fixed. I'm very picky about the shape of my nails. i check all those details before getting the paint done. This guy didn't drill the nails even at all. he kept telling me to stay still when i wasn't moving like he was gonna go to work on my shape... i thought wrong. what really killed it though was the paint job .. guys. this a first and last. i'm convinced that my wo current nail techs are the only ones who fit my hand read more

I personally love this place!!! All you need to do if you do not like something is speak UP and they will work hard to change it... I come in frequently and they know what I like automatically! They are well priced and give you exactly what you need. I come in with funky designs and they never miss!!! The main woman is always up for the challenge and I always come out happy and receive so many compliments from strangers! Don't let the negativity of these other reviews fool you!!! They get their jobs done efficiently!! read more

Terrible service. Rude over priced can barely do any damn nails !!!!! Rude owner. She argued with multiple customers while i was getting serviced , people walked out after seeing how combative she was with people. The owner needs a great reality check. She's rude and unprofessional. Makes sense why business isn't going well ! Vibes were nitpicking the entire time i was uncomfortable in the shop. I wanted to calll the police for how she was treating people. Will not be back ever again!!!! I brought my family here coming to spend money on five pedicures , three fill ins and two full sets. Can't believe these people. Never again ! read more

No stars if possible a rush job more worried about getting the money than anything else too pushy trying to suggest more services than I asked for just a plain manicure $18 dollars insane for a shabby job not recommend to no one here read more

tical: Professionalism The cleanliness is the only reason why they didn't get a 1 star. The level of work quality and care that goes into the tech that did my daughter's first full set was awful. This man sat and did a full set of nails in less than 30 minutes and the work was sloppy and he didn't even use the colors that she asked for. Folks are spending their hard earned money not to be rushed or given moot. Disappointed and dissatisfied at its best, to say the least. Services: Pedicures, Acrylic read more

I made an appointment over the phone on a Saturday for my friend and I. We both got French fade/ombré acrylics and they turned out great. We each paid $55. However, we both did some filing and small fixes when we got home to get them exactly shaped how we wanted. Additionally, the tech who worked on my friend was very rough to the point where even though our nails turned out nice, we will probably not be returning. read more

1. I went to the salon for a pedicure with gel polish twice and I have no complaints. The second time was better because Ann took the time and massaged my feet as well ! 2. Shop was clean, staff relatively friendly. 3. Willing to fix issue free of charge 4. Great prices Cons 2 weeks ago I got a full set acrylic with gel polish. It wasn't until after I left that I noticed how poorly the job was done. The application and polish job was sloppy. Some nails shaped poorly. I called and went in to get them atleast repolished. I was able to live with them being repolished. Now the polish has started to chip off. Based on the other reviews left, I will not be returning . This service is too expensive to not be happy with the results! read more

They are very friendly. They do a great job for a great price. I'm a regular here and i'm never disappointed every time i'm here.

The green wasn't the green I was expecting. They did have the forest green I wanted in gel but I didn't want to pay $10 more. I just wish there wasn't an obvious separation from the acrylic and my cuticle because my nail started lifting. Also, there was some acrylic residue where there wasn't suppose to be. Other than that, they are really friendly. read more

HORRIBLE GO TO ANY OTHER NAIL SALON. Literally spent 30$ on a fill in for my nails to fall off in less than 3 days. My nail literally ripped off less than 48 hours after getting the set. I've never experienced such unprofessional from a manager as well. TAKE YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE millennium nails is so much better! QUALITY over QUANTITY !!!!!! read more

I got a simple gel manicure. The guy that took care of me seemed rushed and blamed my short nail beds on the bad job. There was nail polish all over my fingers and the tips of my nails. I asked for it to be fixed and it was barely taken care of. I will not be going back here. read more

This is a new nail spot open in Somerset so I went to try it. I got a gel manicure for $25 (the cost is cheaper than ones in NYC). However, I didn't receive the relaxing and enjoying factors for getting nails done. In addition, three important elements for a nail salon, cleanliness, quality of work, and customer satisfaction. Suggestions: 1. Always maintain work stations in a clean manner. The UV machines still have nail debris from previous customers. 2. After my nails are done, I should feel nails are neat and clean. Unfortunately, there are some nail polish near the tip of my fingers and need to clean it at home. 3. Instead of just sitting and wait for the nails to dry, provide customers a quick 5 minutes massage during waiting time would increase customer satisfaction tremendously. Let's hope they will improve their services in the near future!! read more

I saw this place open up on my way to work and for some reason I wanted to try it out. So I did on a day that I was off from work and I got a gel manicure. I did notice the gel felt different from my past gel manicures - a little thicker and it felt like it didn't set right....the very next day after giving my daughter a bath, my gel manicure had already started to peel off! I knew I was suppose to go back but between having a toddler and a job, I didn't have any time to go during the hours they were open nor did I really want to go back in general. Needless to say, I'm never going back here. read more

Thought my first visit was crappy because I was a walk-in and the woman felt rushed. This time I made an appointment. Had a different woman for the mani pedi The pedi is ok but for the second time the gel mani is a mess. This time worse then the last. There is polish up to an on my cuticle. Been 2 days and already peeling and chipping. The color is distorted and the finish bumpy. Right ring finger has polish bubble. Never going there again. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR! read more

I didn't get what I asked for and when the manicurist told the owner, Cindy, began to yell at me I'm front of all the customer basically blaming me for what was not right. I reminded her of how long I had been going to the salon (since they opened and I spent lots of money their for myself, my daughter, and my moment. I have never been nasty or disrespectful and I didn't think the one time I alerted them I needed something fixed warranted me being spoken to the way she spoke to me. Not to mention they have never been the best when it comes to the quality of the work they do. I was willing to settle because they are in the neighborhood and the prices are decent. However it is not worth me spending my hard earned money where I can be so easily mistreated. The staff there are great especially Laura. Cindy did try to apologize once Laura told her I was never coming back but the damage had already been done. read more

The only positive this place had was that it was clean and everything looked new, other than that my experience was horrible. I went with my sister for a fun pampering session and this experience completely ruined my sister's day. My sister went first because we were walk-ins, she showed the tech a picture of what she wanted and asked if it was possible? Did she, the nail tech, know how to do that design? The tech assured her it would not be a problem that she did those designs all the time. I asked how much the total would be based on the picture. The tech told me $50 because it had crystals and 3 different colors needed to make the marble design. Ok perfect not a problem. When the tech started applying the polish my sister tells her repeatedly that the polish she is applying is the wrong color the tech gets all bitchy and tells her the color is going to be different because the nails in the picture are longer and my sister wanted hers shorter. Wtf!?! How is the length of your nails going to affect the COLOR!?! I tell the tech that if that's not the color my sister wants that she should change it, to be honest the pink she used was so light it looked clear. The tech started the marble design it looked like she splattered paint on my sister's nails. To top it off she refused to change the color and wanted to charge $60 without the crystals or finishing the design. Turns out the tech didn't know how to do the nails in the picture and she was charging $10 more because my sister wanted her nails shorter. I would have left without getting mine done but I was mid way through. My nails are uneven, different lengths and the top coat is on my skin which makes the polish lift from the nails. My design was easy, pink polish with gold on the ring finger. But it still didn't come out as it should have or like it would have in a different location. The pictures show what I got versus what I wanted My sister refused to pay for something she did not want and just had the nails removed. During which time the tech was pointing at my sister and I and shouting with her colleagues in a different language. End result just don't go there, if you do happen to get what you wanted they'll change the price at the end or they will be rude, nasty and dishonest. read more

The worst salon and customer service. I came in yesterday and asked them if they had time to do my nails and she said I come back any time and I wouldn't need an appointment. I came in today at around 2:30pm and she said they were busy at the moment and asked if I could come back tomorrow. Considering that it was only 2:30pm, I proceeded to ask her if I can come in later today she said yes later. I asked her what time? She said 7. I come in at 6:40pm today and she tells me no I told you to come back tomorrow. I repeatedly told her that I asked her further about times to come in for later today. The nail tech refused me service. Another client offered up her slot so I could get my nails done. The nail tech still refused to do my nails. I've never been treated so poorly. read more
