CJ's is that go to place for consistently delicious food. It's nice to know they serve breakfast all day along with their full lunch menu. If you go please get the home fries, they're amazing. Last time I got one of their specials, I believe it was caramel apple crumb pancakes or something like that and oh my, it was absolutely amazing!!! The staff is very sweet and attentive and the prices are good. Absolutely check it out!

CJ's food just hits different. Nothing like it around here! Be careful around lunch time, they get slammed. Truly a hidden gem.

We were looking for a place for lunch on Sunday when our original place decided to close. Found this on Yelp, and the reviews were good and the menu looked great! Service was excellent, and my partner's roast beef sandwich was good. The accompanying chips were not. My salad (CJs salad) was ok, but the balsamic vinaigrette dressing was completely separated, and I couldn't pour it on my salad unless I wanted all oil. (Yes, I know salad dressings separate, so all they had to do was shake up the bottle and pour it right before bringing it out.) I had to ask for just balsamic vinegar so I could at least have something on my salad besides oil. Service was good, and it seemed like a popular place. Perhaps salads aren't their strong points, but we likely won't come back to find out.

Thanks to Yelp, I found CJ's corner while spending the weekend down the shore. Anytime there's an extensive list of Bennies, I'M IN! I'll admit, I won't feel great later due to the amounts of gluten we ordered, but these breakfast treats were too good to pass up. I got the Tuscan Bennie which was topped with a well cooked poached egg, prosciutto, spinach, and roasted red peppers with a classic hollandaise piled high on an English muffin. Oh, so good! Loved the subtle smokiness from the prosciutto and the extra tang from the roasted red peppers. The breakfast potatoes (sliced like chips) that came with both bennies were decent, too! My bf went for the Longport Bennie. Croissant on the bottom, a perfect poached egg, smoked salmon, goat cheese, chives and hollandaise. He wolfed it down. I'm not a goat cheese or smoked salmon fan, so I passed on a bite, but I'll take his word that it was good. Since we've ventured on this gluten binge together, we had to get the almond joy pancakes. Yum! To fully get the almond joy flavor, they could have used more of the chocolate/almond/coconut fixings but they were still tasty. On the side we got the Turkey bacon, which was a bit undercooked but edible. A great first impression of the restaurant. We hope to return to try other parts of the menu in the future.

I've been coming to CJ's since I was a little girl and I have always loved it! I'm not a breakfast person but I crave their food!!! The restaurant itself is a bit small so it tends to fill up, but if you get there early enough, there shouldn't be an issue with getting a seat. The waitresses are all very attentive and kind. I highly recommend CJ's; I've never had a bad experience!

Outrageously good breakfasts with a variety of egg and French toast options. Portion sizes are larger than expected.

The food is bland and the soup is obviously from a can. Waitress was slow. Small dirty place. Won't be back ever.

We had a great experience last year, so we decided to return. We arrived at approx 6:30pm (with our bottle of wine) and the main dining room was pretty full. We were seated immediately. Our server was very cheerful and attentive despite the busy evening she was having. This time I tried the Quesadillas and my husband had the pan seared mahi mahi. It came with a cup of soup - which was a clam chowder. He said the mahi was under seasoned and slightly overcooked for his liking. My Quesadillas were perfect and I also had a side order of onion rings. I wasn't able to finish my food so I took home a box. And I got some rice pudding to go. They had a live musical artist performing in the dining room as we were eating, and he was pretty good. On our way out, I threw $5 into his tip jar. Since our last visit, nothing really changed, but we will return. Maybe next time it will be for breakfast?

Their whitefish and lox platters and sandwiches are incredible, and their omelettes are also fantastic. Honestly, their sandwiches in general never disappoint. The service is another reason I keep coming back. Every time I go, the service is fast and the waiters and waitresses are pleasant and efficient. It's a great option for breakfast if you're on the islands and don't feel like dealing with the crazy wait times at some of the restaurants. Great food, quick service, and a really easygoing atmosphere.

Upon entering everybody is warmly greeted by someone who works there and while there are certainly shoobies who show up at least when we were there it was far more locals than anything else. The store part has a little bit of everything in terms of dry goods, dairy items, multiple drink coolers, frozen food items and bags of ice outside but the star of the show is the deli half of the store. All I can say is that it's good and by good I mean like really good. The guy working the grill knows how to make a cheesesteak and the rolls they buy are righteous. Past that aforementioned cheesesteak options (there are multiple) you also have a full line of hot/cold hoagies, all D&W products, several salads by the pound and even a few breakfast sandwich options along with coffee/ donuts from when they open at seven. A few noteworthy quirks to help your experience: * When they're open (in season only) it's from 7am-8pm. * The grill does not start until 11 and it stops around 30 minutes before they close. * They do not accept debit/credit although there is an ATM on site. * Their large hoagie is a 19 inch monster. (It's well worth the investment) * Speaking of investment, prices are definitely on the high side but I suppose that comes with the turf of being open seasonally along with being on the island in general. * Check out the picture frame on the wall with all of the prayer cards as it's very impressive as is the sign on the deli warning you of their ten dollar surcharge. Overall Berenatos is really a neat place with a bunch of character and everything we got from the grill was fantastic and next time we're in town especially if we stay as close as we did last time, we'll definitely be back for more.

I hear a woman criticizing an young employee who was supposed to take my order. I waited and waited and no one said "I'll be right with you" or anything. I ultimately left as I didn't feel good about the way the person was speaking to another young man employee and it was going to be a very long wait for 2 sandwiches. I went to Wawa.
