We had a great experience last year, so we decided to return. We arrived at approx 6:30pm (with our bottle of wine) and the main dining room was pretty full. We were seated immediately. Our server was very cheerful and attentive despite the busy evening she was having. This time I tried the Quesadillas and my husband had the pan seared mahi mahi. It came with a cup of soup - which was a clam chowder. He said the mahi was under seasoned and slightly overcooked for his liking. My Quesadillas were perfect and I also had a side order of onion rings. I wasn't able to finish my food so I took home a box. And I got some rice pudding to go. They had a live musical artist performing in the dining room as we were eating, and he was pretty good. On our way out, I threw $5 into his tip jar. Since our last visit, nothing really changed, but we will return. Maybe next time it will be for breakfast?

The service is another reason I keep coming back. Every time I go, the service is fast and the waiters and waitresses are pleasant and efficient. It's a great option for breakfast if you're on the islands and don't feel like dealing with the crazy wait times at some of the restaurants. Great food, quick service, and a really easygoing atmosphere.

All I can say is that it's good and by good I mean like really good. The guy working the grill knows how to make a cheesesteak and the rolls they buy are righteous. Past that aforementioned cheesesteak options (there are multiple) you also have a full line of hot/cold hoagies, all D&W products, several salads by the pound and even a few breakfast sandwich options along with coffee/ donuts from when they open at seven. A few noteworthy quirks to help your experience: * When they're open (in season only) it's from 7am-8pm. * The grill does not start until 11 and it stops around 30 minutes before they close. * They do not accept debit/credit although there is an ATM on site. * Their large hoagie is a 19 inch monster. (It's well worth the investment) * Speaking of investment, prices are definitely on the high side but I suppose that comes with the turf of being open seasonally along with being on the island in general. * Check out the picture frame on the wall with all of the prayer cards as it's very impressive as is the sign on the deli warning you of their ten dollar surcharge. I use mobile ordering and get a simple latte with NO FOAM. I use the mobile app to save time and get in and out fast. 4 out of 5 times the drink is loaded with foam and has to be done over. So much for saving time with a mobile order. Sure wish there was another Starbucks in he area. Well, it's been 3 months since my last 1 star review and absolutely nothing has changed. I still mobile order my NO FOAM drinks and they still load it with anywhere from 1 to 1.5" of foam. Always a redo which negates the speed advantage of mobile ordering. I have to say they are pleasant about the do overs but you would think by now they would have this figured out. I did speak to the manager who gave me a gift card for a free drink and made the drink herself. I just wish there was another Starbucks in the area as all the others don't seem to have this problem. I stopped at the Starbucks kiosk inside the Target in Somers Point expecting it might be a quiet,…read moreconvenient spot on my way to work. The store itself was empty, and I was able to walk right up to the counter and order without any wait. I ordered a double shot of espresso and a hot white chocolate mocha. While my drinks were being made, I noticed the employee preparing my espresso was distracted and chatting with a Target store associate. What concerned me was watching him rinse out a disposable paper cup with water and then pour my espresso into that same cup. When I got my espresso, I took the lid off and could see water droplets all around the inside of the cup, mixing with the espresso. It immediately made the drink feel diluted and, honestly, just not made the way a customer should receive it. The register employee was polite and did a great job taking my order, and I left a small tip. After that, I calmly asked the employee who made the drink (Edwin) why he rinsed out the paper cup with water instead of using a fresh cup. He told me he had accidentally made a triple shot, dumped it, and then made the correct double shot, and he offered to remake it. I appreciated the offer, but I declined and simply said I would have preferred a fresh cup instead of washing one out. I thanked them and started to leave. As I was walking out, after they thought I was out of earshot, I heard Edwin call me a "dickhead." I stopped for a moment because I genuinely couldn't believe I heard that in a customer-facing setting. At that point I chose not to escalate it further and just left. Overall, this was a disappointing experience. Mistakes happen, and I'm not upset that an order needed to be corrected; but rinsing and reusing a disposable cup for a customer's drink isn't what I expect from Starbucks standards, and the disrespect afterward was unprofessional and unnecessary. The cashier handled things well, but based on this visit, I wouldn't go out of my way to come back to this location.
