This was a cute spot I found on yelp while nearby hiking at the state park. Ordering was easy and we sat outside in the shade. Fish taco was delicious and crunchy. Chicken taco had a bit of a spice to it, which I liked but my daughter found too "spicy". The quesa-birria tacos were good but not the traditional birria I get in Chicago. These are laid on the grill to get crispy like a quesadilla . Usually the tortillas are dipped in the consome first . This makes them both crispy with added depth and flavor. Came across CJ's Tacos and was thoroughly impressed by this little food truck! It might be small, but it's very well-cut - clearly, they've got their operation down. Great service. There's a nice outdoor seating area, which is a plus, though we opted to get our order to go. We tried a variety of their tacos: brisket, fish, chicken, and Al Pastor. Everything tasted incredibly fresh and was clearly made to order right there. Each one was very tasty and packed with flavor. The Al Pastor was a little more charred than I typically prefer, but even with that, it was still very good and enjoyable. The prices are also very reasonable for the quality and freshness you get. When you wrap flour tortillas in foil it makes them taste like the tin foil, I would strongly suggest using a to go box instead or wrapping them in parchment paper first, then the foil. I've been here 3 times now and the quality and consistency with the food is great and they're definitely not stingy. The downfall of most places is to change this and I hope this doesn't happen. It's a small truck off burleson but definitely has room to grow and outside tables for eating there. I did want a 4 1/2 star because their one weak spot is the phone.
