She's been doing my hair for close to 10 years, and I hope to be with her for another 10 years. She's the type that once you start going to her, you won't want anyone else doing your hair. Her customer service is wonderful. This salon is small but homey. Everyone including customers are very nice to one another. It has a very laid back atmosphere. Over the last year, I've had several appointments with Sun at this salon to get my hair highlighted, deep conditioned (thanks to Sun, this was the best suggestion she's had yet), a cut, wash, and blow dry. At every appointment, she goes over if I've had any issues, notice a change in texture (dryness), if I want to change anything (color, length, style), etc. If we're doing any changes, she walks me through what her thoughts are and options before she does anything, and then lets me decide what I want to do (no pressure). She is one of the best I've seen with highlights and color and some how she has managed to increase the health of my hair and thickness (I used to have really fine hair) with how she cuts my hair and conditions it. At this point, I trust her completely with my hair and style, but we still go through a plan of what she's going to do that visit before anything happens. She has also cut both my daughters' hair this last year and she has done an amazing job with them too. Unfortunately, they have my fine hair but Sun knows just what to do to give them a hair cut that naturally falls into place and maximizes their hair's overall health so I'm not stuck styling their hair fir a long time each morning. We're a low maintenance crew and she knows just what to make these girls look and feel good. My daughters refuse to let anyone else cut their hair, and they are excited to see her each time. I also get my eyebrows waxed by Nami and Nicole. They are great. Both are very stylish in their eyebrow shaping, and Nami is very precise. Both have a lot of experience, and they are hair stylists at the salon too. So they are very accessible. At this salon, all of my family's hair and beauty needs are taken care of. Every time my daughters' and I go, we look great and feel great when we leave.

I said no because I want to go home and diffuse it. she said to please let her do the bangs at least so I said yes just to please her but then she proceeded to blow out the entire hair style. it looked nice but I don't ever blow out or straighten my hair so I had no clue what it Even would look like when I left as I would actually wear it. I went home, soaked my hair and did my routine. my curls are completely damaged and have lost their natural wave and pattern. i now have straggly bang pieces just flying everywhere and my hair just looks really awful. i have been working so hard on getting my natural curls back and this just set me back. I have been wearing it up since I got it cut and refuse to wear it naturally now. I don't feel like I was listened to at all and she just gave me the haircut she wanted to do which looks the same as all the other photos in the reviews. she essentially gave me a haircut for straight hair when I have wavy and curly hair. now I have to wait for this to grow out and get it fixed after spending $75 on this. I feel like every thing was out of my control which is the opposite of how a haircut should be. I've cried off and on about this because I just feel like I lost the little bit of confident I had - my curls.

(A perm that will give me soft curls rather than ringlets.) $220 for a trim and digital perm, took two and a half hours. I think Sue did a great job, I just got the perm today, so we'll see how it looks in 2 days when I wash it. I felt that Sue was very meticulous and precise. Since I don't speak Korean the only thing she asked me was how much I wanted to cut, and where I do my part. For better or worse, she took it from there ((I don't do very much for my hair, I usually get two haircuts a year, and the last time I got a perm was over five years ago.))
