That's far from true. They want me to pay full price for a fix up. And I repeatedly said it at the salon that I do not like the outcome. You guys kept saying no you will like it and it will lighten up. My previous highlights and this new work is not cohesive there is a huge difference between it. I had a consultation with you guys on my first appointment and you guys relaid to me that the work could be achieved and I will have a blended look. I made my point clear I want for the work to be noticeable. I do not want subtle look. I showed reference pictures multiple times. I would need to go to someone else to fix the issue which will be a corrective work costing even more than what it would have if you guys didn't mess up the hair. I try to resolve this very nicely with you guys. But you guys do not want to take any responsibility. You're gaslighting me to my face. I am so disappointed with them. I went in to get my hair highlighted to match my previous highlight that has grown out. I had a consultation with them 3 weeks prior to the appointment. Went in the day of and showed them the reference photo and explained to Sora that I want to get less damage as possible and showed the reference picture again. She said she can achieve the look by doing a "color" highlight. Even though room the first consult I was told that it wouldn't it be achieved without using bleach and I said yes that is fine. But when Sora the stylist said she will be achieving the look with minimal damage by using the color bleach I said ok you know best because your the hair stylist. She finished the work by basically doing nothing to my hair. The contrast on my from the perevious color was very visible and the looks worst then before. Then I asked for fixing it they said they will charge me all over for a fix up. I said no I am not paying anything else since I paid $220 already. They refused to fix it or refund anything. I am sooo disappointed at them.

I followed Sun to New Image Salon from another salon, because she's the best stylist I've had for…read moreas long as I can remember. She's been doing my hair for close to 10 years, and I hope to be with her for another 10 years. She's the type that once you start going to her, you won't want anyone else doing your hair. Her customer service is wonderful. This salon is small but homey. Everyone including customers are very nice to one another. It has a very laid back atmosphere. Over the last year, I've had several appointments with Sun at this salon to get my hair highlighted, deep conditioned (thanks to Sun, this was the best suggestion she's had yet), a cut, wash, and blow dry. At every appointment, she goes over if I've had any issues, notice a change in texture (dryness), if I want to change anything (color, length, style), etc. If we're doing any changes, she walks me through what her thoughts are and options before she does anything, and then lets me decide what I want to do (no pressure). She is one of the best I've seen with highlights and color and some how she has managed to increase the health of my hair and thickness (I used to have really fine hair) with how she cuts my hair and conditions it. At this point, I trust her completely with my hair and style, but we still go through a plan of what she's going to do that visit before anything happens. She has also cut both my daughters' hair this last year and she has done an amazing job with them too. Unfortunately, they have my fine hair but Sun knows just what to do to give them a hair cut that naturally falls into place and maximizes their hair's overall health so I'm not stuck styling their hair fir a long time each morning. We're a low maintenance crew and she knows just what to make these girls look and feel good. My daughters refuse to let anyone else cut their hair, and they are excited to see her each time. I also get my eyebrows waxed by Nami and Nicole. They are great. Both are very stylish in their eyebrow shaping, and Nami is very precise. Both have a lot of experience, and they are hair stylists at the salon too. So they are very accessible. At this salon, all of my family's hair and beauty needs are taken care of. Every time my daughters' and I go, we look great and feel great when we leave.

I said no because I want to go home and diffuse it. she said to please let her do the bangs at least so I said yes just to please her but then she proceeded to blow out the entire hair style. it looked nice but I don't ever blow out or straighten my hair so I had no clue what it Even would look like when I left as I would actually wear it. I went home, soaked my hair and did my routine. my curls are completely damaged and have lost their natural wave and pattern. i now have straggly bang pieces just flying everywhere and my hair just looks really awful. i have been working so hard on getting my natural curls back and this just set me back. I have been wearing it up since I got it cut and refuse to wear it naturally now. I feel like every thing was out of my control which is the opposite of how a haircut should be. Yesterday, I had an appointment with May to get my hair colored before I was going to take some family photos this weekend. She said she could trim my hair too and I didn't fight her on it. The hair color came out great, but I wasn't sure about the hair cut. She had styled it before I left and I liked the airiness of the cut at first, but when I showered today, I thought it looked like I had a mullet :( I called this morning to see if I could get it fixed and I got an appointment at 2pm. I saw Anna and as I explained what I didn't like, she seemed to understand the issue. She sent me off for a shampoo and then showed me some photos to make sure she knew what I wanted (which I appreciated ). She worked quickly to cut the offensive mullet and transition the layers more naturally. While my hair is a lot shorter than I wanted it to be, I am so glad I went back to get it fixed.
