Then, a new walk-in arrived with his son. The new arrival spoke in another language and a third hair cutter came out. I watched the exchange as the host pointed at the schedule, mentioned walk-in in reference to the new person and then the new hair cutter looked at me and said he would not be able to take me after the new walk in jumped ahead. I guess at this establishment it REALLY pays to be a regular. This place does not seem like they want new business. I recommend finding another option (I will).

While it was out of our way (it's not accessible by metro), we chose it due to the easy to use website, straightforward pricing, great reviews on google and customer images that were exactly the style we were looking for. And WOW... the commute was 100% worth the cost of an Uber ride. We booked with Frank and couldn't believe the magic hands this man has! hahaha. Frank is funny, kind and was super helpful bringing both his expertise and listening skills to the table. We showed up with a few samples of what we wanted and Frank worked his magic on my friend's hair and beard. I also was super annoying recording everything for TikTok (haha!) because, well, we wanted to make a funny video of the experience for our friends - and Frank was so fun to work with. He even jumped in some pictures with us at the end. Most important, my friend got so many compliments on his new look afterwards. I highly recommend Barber Effect and Frank!

Very courteous, professional and skilled. I arranged for a manicure for my mom and pedicure for my dad, both done by Jacqueline. She was very warm, polite and professional from start to finish. Ryan was very rude when asking how I wanted my haircut done, and he continued to complain about my thick hair and how it is hard to work with. It is almost like I have too much hair and i'm looking for a HAIRCUT. Ryan is funny and can be fun to talk to, but he was very rude to me and my old barber. My old barber quit which is why I was coming to this shop as an alternative. Ryan charged 36$ cash and made me use his ATM even though he has a card reader. Ryan took my fade to the absolute top of my head, made it so that my corners could not be filled anymore, thinned the everliving hell out of my hair, and made parts very uneven. I do not recommend this shop because he rushes, is rude, only takes cash, and does a poor job.

The information on their website is wrong and they don't have prices posted in this location.
