Got my haircut today and because I believed the advertised men's cut would be $12. Which I knew was incorrect. Because since I had last been at the Chantilly location about 2-3 yrs. ago it had increased. So, because I was need of a cut when I went in today. I assumed it would be $25 or under. I didn't ask how much it would just wanted to get it done. The stylist did a nice job, but when I checked out it was $46 and I said, "how much?" She replied, "$46, oh I guess I should've told you." The information on their website is wrong and they don't have prices posted in this location. We came right at 9 o'clock when they opened. Joy was such a nice lady and so patient and calm with My Son. She did a good job navigating when he got a little upset a couple times but overall she did fabulous and we got a nice haircut we'll definitely be coming back. My three-year-old daughter was waiting playing with the train set and other choice that they had. read more

I went today and do not recommend this place. The owner should tell you if your barber cannot speak English. I specifically told him that the length should be below the top of the shoulders when dry. I even said, "be sure not to cut it too short, I will come back and pay you again if I want it cut more". He cut 4 inches too much off, so it will take about 8 months to grow to where it should be. read more

Great service first time here and I came on a Sunday when it was a little busy. They got me and my 2 sons in about 20 min no appointment. I have been looking for a decent barber in this area for a long time. We had Moon and Michelle and they did a great job good fade on our hair. We love these Korean ladies and have been cutting our kids hair for 9 year. My only gripe is they seem to base everything on walk in traffic. Sometimes we call and have a reservation. One time we called to change it to another time and it was obvious that they hadn't recorded it. read more

I come here about every 2-3 weeks for my 6 year old's hair cut. My husband comes here, too. Mr. Moon always cuts my son's hair and has been since my son was probably 2 years old. Each time, I show him a picture of what I like and he makes it happen. At other places, my son complains that they pull his hair and it hurts when he gets a hair cut. But, not here. No complaints makes for one happy mama. I live in South Riding and it's great to know that I have this place, essentially in my backyard, to trust each and every time. I started coming here when they first opened due to the $8 haircut coupons they had. I continue to go there because of Eric. As SteveJ said Eric only works Sundays and the rest of his work week is spent at a salon near his home. He definitely puts in the extra effort and genuinely cares about the style and symmetry of the cut. The entire shop is Korean run and owned but they keep the out of band banter to a minimum. With the cuts being so cheap I tend to tip heavy. I also have three kids so the entertainment area they have setup at the front of the shop (tv, toys, games) helps a lot if I have to bring the kids with me and there's a long wait. It's cheap ($10 men's) and quick (my cut took 10 min). The quality of the cut wasn't great but bearable for the two weeks til my next cut. I would recommend the place for anyone looking for a cheap quick cut. The wait time isn't bad considering they are very busy but have plenty of barbers on staff. The decor is warm and kid friendly. I live between CJs and Stone Ridge barbers. Stone ridge there is never a wait but it costs a little more. The decor is cold but the barbers are more attentive to your cut. I will be hopping back and forth between the two places. At $10 you can expect this place is looking for quick turnover of their chairs and high volume which they have both of. Just be wary going around 2 pm as most of the barbers missed lunch due to being so busy and like anyone else in their situation will likely be a little irritable. So I gave my barber 5 bucks for tip. This is my goto barber is it is right down the street from where I live. I cant say much for all the barbers but I can say Moon is excellent. He does listen to what you want and gives a really good fade. Definitely recommend Moon and this place as the haircuts for men are only $12 which is a lot cheaper then most barbers I've been too. Only thing is the availability of Moon, he is only there on the weekends and wish he was there on the weekdays. read more

What do you get when you cross the DMV with a cheap barber? That's right ... CJ Haircuts. The place has a massive waiting area and you literally take a number when walking in. After each barber finishes a cut they walk over to the counter, pick up a little remote and point it at the digital number board (DING) "Number 42!". It's kind of hilarious to watch. Maybe my 2 stars is a little harsh. It all depends on what you're looking for. If you're after a place that's dirt cheap to cut you're kid's hair that doesn't do a half bad job, this could be your spot. My only wish is that they would use a straight razor for my neck and sides, but the electric razor seems to work just fine. I have been bringing my son here since he was 4 and he's almost 7 now. He was born with a full head of hair and he never lost any of it, unlike most babies. He has needed regular haircuts since he was under a year old. All that to say that I have been all over for haircuts for him. He has very wavy hair with a serious cowlick in the back. If it's cut too short it sticks straight up in the back. It also needs texture due to the gorgeous blonde waves. Most places cut his waves uneven and it looks choppy. I'm so glad I found CJ! We've had 1 haircut at CJ that I didn't really like. Other than that, we've had literally dozens of haircuts that I love! They are quick and talk to him during his haircut so he won't get bored and fidget too much. Cannot beat the price! And they're very friendly. read more
