    Hanging in the creek.

This park is great! My friend and I brought our 19 and 21 month olds. I liked how the water features were split between 3 different areas. The larger splash pad was busier and much noisier which I think was overstimulating for my kiddo so we went to the other side where there's a smaller one. However, once she saw the creek that's where we spent the rest of the afternoon. The playground was perfect for kids their size. There's a large covered area with benches and tables for lunch. We'll definitely come back!

This is a pretty cool park - splash parks, playground, amphitheater, a good amount of green space, and sidewalks. The playground is geared towards 3+ Not much that a 18 mo old can do independently besides turn some steering wheels and ride 3 springy "rocking horses". The main structure and giant spider web are treated towards bigger kids. I do like the giant books, taller than an adult and my son was intrigued too! Overall a fun park, will check out in the summer when splash pad is open. Also a previous reviewer said no dogs, however i didn't see any no dog signage and there were a few dogs in the park. Maybe this is specific to summer when the water is on.

Wonderful climbing system available for kids of all ages.

Great park. Safe location. Lots to do & everything is FREE! 2 fountain splash parks as well as playground and amphitheater. My kids loved it!

Great park always!!! If you are the Only one here (which is rare) or with half of the people o highlands ranch, this park is great. I love the movies at the end of the summer (just wish they made a chair line half way up the hill so those in their "thrones" will let those of us on blankets see the screen). It is close to so many different places to get food and the library. The stream and the sprinkler pool is a frat refreshing place for all to cool off. Nice clean bathrooms when they are open.

This is my favorite park!! The splash pad is amazing in the summer and the amount of open space is great! You can keep an eye on your child from pretty much anywhere in the park!! Definitely a go to!!!

    Music festival!

I feel a bit silly for having just recently discovered this park, but what an awesome find. How did…read moreI not realize this was here sooner? So there's an awesome petting zoo and train that you can pay to enjoy but the rest of the park is just as incredible. There's a shallow creek that runs the length of the park. It's honestly one of the best places for kids to just free play safely in the summer. Lots of great trees for parents to chill under while the kids enjoy the water. It's a perfect picnic spot for sure. Go make a day of it! There's also a traditional playground near the petting zoo and train station. My kids said the water is cold but on a hot day, it's the perfect activity. There are restrooms as well. There's some covered seating with picnic tables but it's just easier to bring a nice blanket and find a tree to camp under (or bring some outdoor chairs). We did the petting zoo recently too. It's $3 per person for the petting zoo for anyone over the age of 2. Same price for the train. You can do one and not the other. Tickets can be purchased on site or online. They give you one token per ticket for each activity. So you can only go through the petting zoo once and take the train once on a paid ticket. The petting zoo has cows, pigs, a duck, goats, alpacas, chickens, etc. It's fairly small, but a good way to expose city kids to sweet tempered farm animals. My kids loved the train! It does a nice big loop around the park. And the best part is the tunnel you go through at the end. The train is also beautiful - pretty green, shiny train. I would say the only down side is parking. I've ended up parking at the Pirates Cove area both times I've gone. There's simply not enough spots. Go early in the morning if you want to enjoy otherwise you might be completely out of luck.
