This a wonderful park that's right on the High Line Canal. It has playgrounds, basketball, tennis courts and plenty of walking paths. It also has a sneaky "tot lot" which is a playground aimed for littles. I've been coming to this park for a long time and never knew it existed so figured I would write a review to help others find it. It's slightly disconnected from the rest of the park but a great way to get some energy out for your little ones.

The playground and the field are very nice. Unfortunately, the bathrooms are closed until further notice due to vandalism. It's probably only a matter of time before this translates to people using the playground, the canal, and the park as a bathroom instead.

I love this park! It's very well kept and laid out nicely. The playground is decent, the trails are exceptional. I loved riding my bike here and walking my dogs. There are public fountains and even a low one for pets. Lots of beautiful grassy areas to have picnics or just to relax. There are several pavilions and grills. Definitely a great place to spend outdoors.

If you can't find something to amuse, energize or otherwise engage you, check your pulse. There's a ball field, tennis courts, playground, pavilions & grills, hiking trails, rec center & plenty of open space. Don't forget the canal for plenty of adventures for the young and old--just bring your imagination. There are some do's and don'ts rules to follow, but they are posted. C'mon down & enjoy!

This is an excellent park. From one end with the tennis courts and baseball field to the other near Goodson Rec Center this park is amazing. The Highline Canal runs right past and there are break off trails as well (great for biking, running, or even a pleasant walk). The tennis courts do fill up in the afternoon and at night (the courts are lit by flood lights after 8:00), but other than that I wouldn't say that the park is ever extremely crowded. There is a little creek that meanders through the park which is nice to walk through on hot summer days.

Are there lights for the tennis courts? I didn't see any light timers like the ones at Utah Park tennis courts.

Yes. They turn on automatically from 6:30 - 10 p.m. every night. Thanks!

Tucked away off of busy Arapahoe Road, it's a nice escape with so much to love. As I mentioned, we were here for the playground and it did not disappoint. There are many different play areas for kids of all ages to enjoy. Since mine is quite little, we mainly took advantage of the swings and some of the smaller slides. There was a fun sandbox that we'll check out next time but it was occupied while we were there. I can't wait to keep bringing her back because I know she's going to love the bigger slides and jungle gym built out of ropes as she gets older. Not to mention the splash pad which will be a hit in the summer. Besides the playground, there is an open plaza and green space for picnics, an amphitheater which would be nice for intimate concerts, picnic tables galore, and other scenic spots to chill. It did get pretty busy as the morning went on, although it said there's a max capacity of 25 people (but not sure who is counting). There's also a big parking lot but most of it was being used for a COVID testing site #2020 Overall, we'll definitely come back when we're looking for a fun outing and the weather is nice.
