Love this park that is in the heart of Highlands Ranch. It's a few minutes from Town Square and full of fun stuff for all ages. There is a lake with a Gazebo, and quite a few soccer fields. They have tennis courts, and a few different playgrounds for all ages kids. There is a stadium for big events, and lots of parking. We love the skateboarding park here that is big a clean, and you can bring skateboards, bikes, scooters or roller blades too. Several classes are held here that you can register for at highlandsranch.org

There is a nice walking path between Redstone Park and Marcy Park. I've seen some nice birds in the trees along there.

Great park. Clean. Lots of parking. Has a gate which helps keep littles from running on to the street. Bathrooms! Lots of areas to play!

What kind of fish are in this lake?

Fishing at Redstone Pond is not available at this time, and it is no longer stocked with fish. However, there are five other fishing ponds open to visitors in Highlands Ranch.

This is a fantastic small park. The only downside is that it has port-a-potties…read more This is a newer park, so all of the equipment is nice. There's a tot play area and a kids play area. There is a huge slide where you have to either climb up rocks to get to the top or go up a huge set of stairs - very mountain climber-ish, but safe. They even have some play equipment that makes musical sounds. The ground is that rubbery surface that has some bounce to it. There's an area with small tables and it's covered, so there's always a little shade to be found. In the summer they have a splash pad fountain area. There's also a sports field at the park - a soccer/la cross field. I want to say it's turf, but not 100% sure. There are two parking lots and street parking for overflow.

Today I decided to try the Spinney toy at Elk Ridge Park with my kids, you know, what could go…read morewrong? I got on and the way it was balanced I started spinning INCREDIBLY fast. I couldn't see anything but a blur of wood chips and the only thing I could hear was laughing little boys. I called out to my oldest, "Can you help slow down mom??" More laughing. I got bigger- I spun faster. I got smaller- I spun faster. After about a minute of trying to slow down with no avail I decided the only way out was to just thrust my body on to the ground and hope for the best. Luckily I still had enough equilibrium to find my way to about my hands and knees. I landed with a thud. I tried to look to see where my children were at, but the park around me was spinning so fast. My head was pounding. Still on my hands and knees, I threw up all over the wood chips. "Mommy are you ok?" All I could respond with was "ughhhh". Could I have caused a hemorrhagic stroke? Could I call 911 this disoriented? Eventually the world stopped spinning and I did what any good mom would do, "That was so fun! Do you guys want a turn?". Most pukey I've been at a park since Merry-Go-Rounds were a thing in 1993.
