I recently moved back to Littleton from Golden. One of the reasons why I decided to move back was due to the close proximity of this park to my home. I usually stay on the trail around Johnson Reservoir. Not only are the trails well maintained, the people I've encountered are very friendly. I visit at least twice a day. There's an allure about this place. The Columbine memorial is nearby as are several businesses that I have visited. read more

Perfect 1.4 mile walk. Came here after dinner and it was beautiful. It was a very lively walk with people skating, running and walking around. There are benches along the way, a playground and covered benches. Plenty of space for everyone, with a lot of open grass areas. No watercrafts on the lake but you can fish! Only downside not much shade when you are walking around the lake. If you come during the sunny part of the day, be sure to wear a hat or sunscreen. read more

This is a great park with good restroom facilities and accessible to all. I was there for a baseball game and the field was well maintained with caging in all the right places, two dugouts. There was a concession stand open when I was there on a Sunday, too. Parking lot nearby. read more

By far the crown jewel of the city of Littleton and Foothills parks department as the most picturesque and biggest single park in the area. I, as well as many other people in the area enjoy the beautiful lake in the middle of the park that has a paved trail around it. The park also has a large playground, a large pavilion and many works of art. The peace and serenity that this park provides makes you think you are hundreds of miles away from the city but there is actually a large shopping complex across the street. This park is also the main location for events and social gatherings. read more

Came out to the park to walk around and get some exercise. First time here. It's a huge park. There was a soccer camp going on with tents and activities. There is an amphitheater area and ball fields. There were picnics in the picnic shelters, children playing in the play structures, bicyclists, walkers and people enjoying multiple activities. It was a busy day at the park. Lots of vehicles in the parking lot which was large but crowded. The area is well maintained. Restrooms are available. I'd don't know how it is inside but he didn't complain when he went in so I guess it's ok. The children's play area is so fun. The equipment looks new and has play structures and a music section. They are labeled so you know the recommended age groups. We saw prairie dogs everywhere on our walk. They were chattering when dogs approached or if someone went too close to them. It was funny to see and hear them sounding the alarm. We stumbled upon the Columbine Memorial. It was amazing. Peaceful and reflective. The messages on the wall and tributes to the victims were moving. We walked in and out of the memorial, paying our respects. Stopped and looked at the columbines and water feature. Shared the space with others, all of us quietly thoughtful or speaking in hushed voices. This park is fantastic. Large and accommodates many different activities and groups. Different animals and birds call it home. And nestled amongst the bustle, a quiet space for reflection. We didn't manage to explore the whole area but we now know where to go should we need a place. read more

To get some fresh air and space for creative writing, I spent a few hours eating lunch and hanging out by myself at Clement Park. This was during the pandemic, so it was empty except for a few others FAR away. On a normal day, I could see this place becoming packed with picnickers and partiers on beautiful summer weekends. Plenty of entry points. Plenty of parking. Plenty of benches and grass to sit on. Lovely spot to bring family or pets when it's allowed, of course. It's near a ton of restaurants and residential neighborhoods. There's an amphitheater, lake, and who knows what else? I can't wait to explore when social events are up and running again. read more

I can say with certainty that this is one of the best playgrounds I've ever been to. Had a lot of features I had just never seen before and was laid out really well. I've grown up walking around this 1.4 mile loop - and it's still a great place to catch a bite, brew and a work out all in one. I met my sister and mom here yesterday for a nice 2.8 mile walk and passed various restaurants that right on the banks of Johnson Reservoir, people fishing, setting up bbqs, the local library and the Columbine Memorial. Although the water was low, I find myself enjoying the scenery and company each visit! Because this is my go-to park close to home, I know I'll be back! read more

Very large and diverse park. We were here for the Unicorn Festival. It was a blast! But we had a chance to walk most of the park and it seems there are pockets of different areas and things to do. Lots of open fields along with a myriad of baseball fields. There is a skate park and several playgrounds to choose from for the kidos. The new pickleball courts are fantastic but there is NO SHADE. Access is also not very well thought out.

This park has a lot to offer families as well as sports enthusiasts of various types: joggers,walkers, rollerbladers, playground enthusiastic kids, skate park riders, volleyball, socce, baseball and cyclists. If you like Irish music, they usually have Irish festival here in the park in summer. But I have been here walking our jogging and sometimes there is someone set up in amphitheater making use of practice location as opposed to the garage hahaha. Perhaps a professional band that rents it because it's enjoyable to listen to. I never feel unsafe at this part of there are plenty of people but not too many and the location is ideal if you need to run errands for shopping, pet food, the mall, home improvement, excetera. I have been here several times before I actually went to visit the Columbine memorial and it is quite unique and very special. It is located in the south east corner of the park and have a nice rich that loops around above it that offer some pretty stunning 360 degree views. You can also observe the memorial from up on this elevated path but circles memorial. read more

I do love Clement Park, and so do a whole lot of other people - this place is almost always packed with tons of people, regardless of the weather. It's a nice 1.4 mile walk with a beautiful view of the foothills. I love that the library is right there. However, I docked one star because of the lack of a sidewalk leading from Starbucks and Barnes & Noble to the lake. This is serious SUV-land, and you are taking your life into your hands when you attempt to cross the main thoroughfare. I am telling you, these people do not want to stop for pedestrians. I also docked a star because with all the businesses lining the strip mall, don't you think they would figure out a way to plan for more outdoor patio seating that takes advantage of the view? Hops is the only place you can sit on the patio and enjoy the views. The little strip mall where the Honey Baked Ham store is BACKS to the lake. Why face a beautiful body of water when you can face, um, you know, Bowles Avenue. It makes me think of your typical soul-less suburban amenity and all that; when the kicker is that it doesn't HAVE to be. Another thing that detracts from this lovely park is the abundance of dog crap lining the path. read more

Great place to see 4th of July fireworks; although the area was so super-crowded with traffic we watched from the N side of W Bowles across from Lucha Cantina, on the grassway between Bowles and the strip mall to the north. Took us over 45 mins to get there and drive around and find parking. Would like to check it out further when opportunity permits, it's a long way from my neck of the woods. read more

I like this park for a variety of reasons but give it 3 stars because it is need of clean up and repair. I believe a mill levy was recently passed to assist with this. There is a 1.4 mile walking path around the lake and the Columbine memorial is within close proximity and accessibility from the walking path. Baseball fields, playgrounds, skatepark and library all within walking distance! Starbucks sits off the path to the west as does a variety of food stops and Barnes and Noble! read more

We moved into our apartments only because of this park. Best park we have ever been to. There is something for all ages. They put on concerts every Thursday evening in the summer and it's just fun to sit back and relax. Their firework show is outstanding. Their festivals are fun. The park is always clean, even the walk are around the lake. Only downfall is there are way too many geese in the winter and you will step in their poop! read more

It was almost seven years ago when I drove west on Bowles Avenue after a 24+ hour drive across the country to a place I was going to make my home, at least for a little while. My wide eyes took in the nicely dressed scenery of Littleton and I melted into the serenity the foothills' backdrop brought me. Clement Park appeared into view. I imagined: -walking on the oblong shape of pavement that surrounded the quiet lake -lying on a blanket with a journal or a book -barbecues with friends I had not met yet It took me longer than planned to surround myself with the green grass, the Littleton residents and the water of Clement Park. But I got there. I needed release one day as the sun began to set; without a plan I threw on a pair of old sneakers and found myself running next to the water past quietly talking couples, serious runners, light joggers, mothers finishing up a walk with their strollered babies, old friends catching up over evening lattes from the nearby Starbucks; past the diners who cheerily finished up happy hour on the deck of Hops, the retired homes of gray-haired residents, and past the once green field (now turned to quaint lake cottages). I was never a runner. (Picture me, the last day of junior year, the hottest day of one Maine summer, running by myself to pass my gym class by hesitantly, painfully running the required mile). The evening my feet hit the Littleton pavement, I became a runner. My 15 minute mile turned to 25 minute two miles, turned into new running shoes and more laps; turned into barbecues with friends, turned into a jogger stroller filled with my little sunshine, and Munchkin's first birthday party, friends and our kids playing in the fountains - fast forward to the gorgeous beams of yesterday's sunshine as I ran 5+ miles around the same quiet water and then enjoyed a picnic on the grass with Roommate as we contemplated the curious, funny, tough and awesome aspects of life. Fast forward to the point I give Robert F. Clement Park five deserved stars. read more

I love this park. Maybe it's because I'm a (very happy) transplant from Miami and Miami has zero open space, it seems, but I love the vastness of this park. My boyfriend flies his RC planes here, and I like to just wander. Even when it's crowded, there's always plenty of room to find your own space. Plus, it's just pretty. Nice trees, nice grass, nice lake. Everything about it promotes calm. If you don't like kids screaming, you can avoid the playground and pick another spot. I haven't been to any shows there, but I like that they have a little stage for live bands. read more

This is a nice park for just about anything. Picnic, frisbee, volleyball, running, walking, BBQs. I always feel safe here. I think that they could update the bathrooms a little bit, or at least clean them a little more frequently. They aren't horrible, but for the use that they get I think they need a little more attention. Other than that the park is great! Definitely go when it's dark and roll out a blanket on the hill and look at the stars with some snacks. read more

Great park! So big with tons of grass, water fountains, paved paths, plus other amenities. There are constantly community events going on. There is a really nice covered picnic area overlooking the lake. Hubs and I enjoy picking up lunch at Tony's across the street, then bringing it here for an afternoon in the sunshine. read more
