To be fair, the ladies here are very nice and understanding. I heard them talking to their regulars, and you can really feel how sweet they are! The pricing isn't too bad either. The place is located next to Dollar Tree and the vet. Walking in was calm and quiet--ladies were getting nails and pedicures, and two older gentlemen came in for pedicures too, who seemed like regulars. Honestly, it feels like this spot is more for the older crowd. I came in for a last-minute pedicure (my fault) and they took me in right away. The sweet lady I had understood what I wanted and suggested a few things, but she worked very slowly. I thought she was being thorough, but unfortunately, she cut my toes too short, and now my big toes look crooked and obvious. Nice little quiet place, but I just wouldn't return. read more

Nice ladies but my pedicure sucked I paid $70 plus $10 tip so that means I was supposed to get one of the more extensive pedicure with massage, hot rocks, paraffin wax and mask but was only given the hot stone massage for like one minute and to top it off when she filed the sides of my gel polish the pinky toe gel instantly fell off she re did it then she filed the edge of the the next toe nail and the gel lifted and she just glued it down. I would like to say I've been in the shop a few times and the owner is very mean the nail polish did not stay on my nails and I asked to get help when I went in there and I had only been there five days ago my nail polish came off with the gel nails. She refused to acknowledge that, but I paid another seven dollars, six dollars or $6.05 dollars to repaint and a dollar tip. They just came off and it's only been four days. I asked her if she would meet me halfway and put the fake nails on and then paint over that she told me I was there almost 3 weeks ago, which is not true but she done other things in the past. WORST nail salon in Oakley. DONT GO THERE. Took my daughter to get her acrylics professionally taken off due to sports. The lady started clipping them and trying to pop them off with a nail, no soaking, no filing. My daughter let me know that it was hurting her so i told the nail tech that i came in to get them professionally taken off. I could've done the same thing at home. She ruined my daughters nailbeds. I told her to stop and I would take her somewhere else. Im no nail tech but it shouldn't be painful to get acrylics taken off. Will NEVER be going back there again. Both experiences were unwarranted! the second time I asked can I see the example for nail shapes, the lady who was doing my pedicure said its up front, the lady who was about to do my full-set said "NO"... I said "No?" she said google it. what if I didnt have a phone? what it was dead? what if I didn't have the type of phone that had those internet features??? the women that work there are not friendly, theyre a bit prejudice they do not have to worry about me spending my hard earned money there EVER AGAIN. read more

On a Thursday afternoon I went to have a pedicure conveniently I Raleys Plaza in Oakley. In clean and air conditioned comfort I was greeted immediately cheerfully. With no appointment I had a 5 minute wait. Be ( name) carefully attended me. Her skill and work was very good. I selected from their menu #2 which included an natural scrub. It was excellent. Be took her time and the massage at the end was healing and relaxing. For $36 plus my tip. I recommend this local business. As a man I felt welcomed and very relaxed. read more

Make sure you ask for pricing ahead of time. It seems like they like to make up prices when it's time to pay. I was quoted $40 for a fill over the phone (which already shocked me just for a FILL. I asked how much a full set was and she said $60!) I went in my my daughter who also got a fill and basic gel polish and our total came out to $92! This place is definitely NOT worth the price tag they charge because their quality of work is "passable" at best. Just make sure you ask for pricing every step of the way on anything that they do for you. Also, stick up for yourself and call them out (politely) when you see them doing a half ass job on your nails. Sometimes they just need a kind reminder that you are paying attention to the quality of work they are giving. Overall, come here if you're desperate or if it's the most convenient. I absolutely love this place!!! I am greeted by name every time i walk in, I have my nails done almost every 2 weeks and a pedicure every other month. Ben does my nails now but I have sat before Tina and Kristin and a couple others also. Kim does my toes, she is the BEST!!! Every one of the crew make you feel comfortable and relaxed just what you should feel in a spa. Tina has done my eyelashes and my brows. I will never go anywhere else!! This place is a joke! They suck at nails! The nail tech decided to file my nails for over 40min, cut my cuticles until they bled and left every nail uneven that I had to file my own nails down! Nope. Don't do it. I call them 6 days before setting up my appointment. All I wanted was a pedicure. I called and they said 11a on February 2 is perfect. I confirmed and said,"ok February 2 at 11a for a pedicure." Everything was great until I showed up day of my appt. I'm a little early so I sit and wait. After one of the ladies got off the phone she says there was confusion about my appt. and I'll have to wait. I showed her my phone call log and proved I indeed called 6 days ago and the other person next to me ever admitted to setting up an appt. today. Two days before Christmas I made my first stop in at the spa to get a fill before the holiday and I was not pleased, I had a set on before done by my usual salon(that was closed by the time I was off work) that had a glitter powder on 4 of my nails. When I asked for the fill she struggled with taking the powder off while hurting me multiple times in the process. Eventually she gave up on 2 nails and left them on with partial glitter. As she proceeded to paint my nails she just painted over the glitter and now I'm able to see it through my new set. After 4 days my nails broke while opening a bottle which never happens so I went back and asked for it to be fixed and she charged me for their mistake. Worst nail salon i've ever been to in 30 years. Came in and a man sat me down for a fill. He immediately offered gel which costs more. I said i never get gel. I told him other salons buffef my nails to thin and they break in 4-5 days. He just listened, no comment, but I asked him to please not make them too thin. He proceeded to buff, file, polish, buff, polish, grind and file those puppies down so far I was left with the thinnest acrylic coating I've ever seen..(i use the word 'seen' loosely as you needed glasses to 'see' this acylic top coat. I told him in complete frustration that these nails would likely chip in a couple days. He took my hand and tried to fix it by buffing them down more! Ugggg! I had to pull my hand away from him. Well the first nail broke half way down in 2 days. I returned and the manager said it was my fault because i didn't get a gel. After her comment I wonder if he buffef them so thin to punish me for getting acylic instead of gel. She asked if i had the same color paint. I said I brought my own color and left it at home cause I drove straight from work. She said I should come back tomorrow. She actually wanted me to go back to work with a broken nail. Two ladies were doing the toes and nails for one customer and neither stopped to fix my nail. Then the lady doing a pedi finished and she didn't do my nail. She just walked around pushing in chairs. 40 minutes of waiting later the repair took two minutes! Well I tried to explain to the manager why I was upset but I don't think they care. I've been trying out different nail places in our area and will stay with the two that are consistent. This was THE WORST gel fill and polish I've had in the 10 years I've had my nails done! One is crooked. The polish was blotted on and is thick and uneven. I kept trying to explain and all "B" would say is "I know I know I know" but never fixed it. I gave up and couldn't wait for it to be over. Waste of $33!!! read more

My daughters nails get caught in her hair because they are thick around the cuticles! They did not file them flush to the natural nail in this area! I have been coming to this salon since Linda owned it 15 years ago. I came in for a pedicure recently and was disgusted by how unhygienic this place is. The technician filed and buffed my nails with previously used tools, she pulled the cuticle cutters from her drawer and proceeded to put them right back in after using them on me. I work in healthcare and know that in the state of California everything that comes in contact with the human body needs to be sterilized. Also, the nail files and buffers are supposed to be one-time use. I've known Tina since she took over the salon and really like her. But I won't be returning to this location due to their lack of cleanliness and complete disregard for OSHA's standard of care. read more

Hate to leave a bad review, but my goodness, my nails looked awful after my gel manicure here!! I went in on a whim as I was in the area and was going to go for a gel manicure at my usual place, but decided to stop here as it was on my way home and it looked empty. I was helped right away and unfortunately it was a bad bad decision. At the end, I had gel polish coming off the sides of 4 different nail beds on both of my hands! I pointed it out to the manicurist so that she could try to fix it...but to no avail. She tried filing it off (which I don't know if this is what you're supposed to do since gel is not easy to remove) but they remained glopped to the sides...it looks horrible :( Not to mention, she didn't properly file, smooth and shape my nails before putting on the gel polish, so a few of the edges on my nails are ragged and sharp...which I also pointed out early on, but she didn't seem to fix them. Unfortunately, I didn't get the manicurist's name, so maybe it was just her...but ugh, I'm so annoyed at how the manicure turned out. Never again. read more

Honestly this is the first review I've ever left , so here we go I've came here before because they have nice colors I give them that .... however I've gotten fungus because I'm sure they don't autoclave there instruments and reuse the same nail files, and they left my nail crooked and paint on my skin. I paid them $58 for my manicure the lady first said I only gave her $48 but we both recounted and agreed it was $58. I sat down to wait for my sister and she aproached me saying I only gave her $54 I told her I had given her $58, and we both counted it. Afterwards she started talking mess in her language . They don't speak or understand English which makes it hard to tell them exactly what you want . Not a good place to come to. Very disappointed in there service. read more

Unfortunately, I can't rate this salon very well. The service was good and I appreciated them being nice but the quality of product was very poor. I paid $37 for a gel pedicure. First off, the manicurists didn't even remove my prior gel correctly. Instead of soaking the nail in the acetone, he used the electric sander until all the paint was gone (and my toe nail beds felt totally raw). The paint was bubbly and not smooth at all, and it chipped off a day later. f I wasn't on vacation, I would have gone back the next day and demanded my money back or a completely new pedicure. read more

In a major need for a Mani and Pedi and not wanting to drive far, I decided to keep it local and give this place a shot. Aesthetically, it certainly is nothing fancy and could certainly use a little touching up. I was immediately greeted by a very friendly gentleman upon entering and was directed to a nice young girl to do my nails. To keep it short, the girl who did my nails did a really good job and was very friendly though, I really could not get over the lack of cleanliness of the place that I gradually tended to notice while having my nails done. It was only $30.00 for a Mani and Pedi which is great and was certainly a plus though, I really had to knock a few stars off, due to overall appearance of the place and even though the prices were fair and they did a decent job, I am hesitant to come back to the lack of cleanliness. read more

WORST SALON AND WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!! If there was an option to give 0 star I would do it... I went there to get my gel nails on Friday. On Saturday, my 4 nails got chipped,I called them on Monday and they said come they will fix it... I went there Tuesday and they showed me really bad and rude attitude as If I chipped my nails myself. They didnt even say sorry for their mistake and not even ready to except it ..
