This is the only place I get my nails done at and I get Lily every time. This set is just gorgeous and she always makes them look amazing.

Oh my gosh Victor is amazing!! Super clean salon and very nice atmosphere! Victor is so talented with nail art. This is the place to go in Champaign Urbana! I refuse to go anywhere else except City Nails and Lashes!!

First time I came here I walked in asking for a pedicure & they were able to assist me almost instantaneously. The interior is absolutely stunning and all the workers were all super nice and attentive. However, the second time I came in I got a Gel X set with a reference photo. My results look very basic compared to what I asked for and for $97 I was expecting better... very disappointed since a lot of my friends love it here.

Snapped off after having them for 4 days

After finishing my full set, at first glance looked fine but when i hot a chance to really look at it, the nails were thin, crooked, uneven design and worst of all , at the airport to go on vacation, my ring finger nail tip snapped clean off. All the nails were thin and the designs were uneven. I really wanted to like this place. On the other hand the place was clean, very spacious, and well kept furniture.

They did a good job. It wasn't the best nails, but it was very clean. I'll go back to give them another shot!

Went to a nail shop on Green St., and they told me an hour for a regular mani pedi. Really, no…read morethank you! So I was in search of another shop and stumbled on Anna's, boy. I am glad I did. It's a small shop tucked away on Neil st, if you are not looking for it, you are bound to miss it. I walked in and was seated right away! The technician took his time on my pedicure, which I appreciate. Unlike other ships that try to upsale you all the time, many cool amenities come with their spa pedicure, such as hot stones and hot towels! That would be like another $15 charge at any other shop. Over the service was great. You get a bang for your buck.

I visited this nail shop for the second time ever yesterday. My daughter lives in Champaign and the…read morelast time we came was in February of this year to get pedicures for her birthday. We both thought they did a great job and our pedicures lasted a long time. Unfortunately when I came by myself yesterday, I had a very different experience. I called ahead to reserve an appointment at 4pm just to be safe. The gentleman who worked there answered my call and just agreed to my appointment time and was about to hang up, I said don't you want my name? He said what's your name? I told him, and he said ok see you at 4. When I arrived at the nail shop the man who answered the phone was at the first nail desk closest to the door working on a customer. There were two other women nail techs working on customers who just looked at me as I walked in. No greeting. The man didn't look up and said "can I help you?" I responded saying I have a 4pm pedicure appointment. He said "ok pick your color" never looking at me once. I picked my color and took a seat. I did not wait long before one of the ladies came to get me. I do not have much to comment on related to her pedicure on my feet. She didn't ask me if I wanted my toenails cut which usually is common practice, but other than that, the pedicure was pretty standard. She made some errors with paint on my skin but cleaned it up and the finished product is fine. She made no conversation whatsoever, though I cannot confirm or deny whether or not that was due to her limited English because I only heard her speak another language. The disturbing part of this visit was the conversation between a white woman and one of the nail techs right next to me. That nail tech was definitely trying to keep up conversation with the white woman and at at one point the white woman mentioned that she didn't realize she had this coming Thursday off. (Due to Juneteenth) The nail tech, who is an Asian woman, asked what's the holiday, the white woman fumbled for an answer and ultimately googled to find out what the holiday was and what it represented. The Asian woman asked "are you getting paid for the holiday?" The white woman said yes. And the nail tech responded "well as long as you're getting paid who cares that's great enjoy yourself!" As a Black woman who is literally sitting in the chair right next to them as they had this conversation- and NO ONE had the self awareness to recognize how deeply offensive that exchange was!! #1 for both of these women, one of whom is of a marginalized identity, to be oblivious to WHAT Juneteenth is, is disgraceful. #2 after they both "learned" that the holiday was about the eradication of the enslavement of Black people, and then to say "who cares as long as you're getting paid" is the most disrespectful and disgusting thing a fellow woman of color could possibly say. And to say it in front of a Black woman. Her deep need for white acceptance made her oblivious to how terribly ignorant she looks. I hope she reads this review and I hope she understands she has betrayed herself and her sister in this world. I do not recommend this business to anyone, but especially not for any people of color as they clearly have no respect or desire for our patronage. There are plenty of other options and I hope this business reaps the karma it is sowing.

I showed him my inspirational picture, in which, he took his time and was very thorough in bringing this design to life! I have been receiving so many compliments on my nails :))) While I didn't have to wait too long even though I didn't have an appointment, I would say the place looked booked (considering it was a weekday morning), so I would recommend making an appointment. They charge transaction fees and a custom full acrylic nail art/design set was $75, which I thought was well worth it for the service I received!

Because the pain was so intense I went to Christie Clinic and saw Dr Okyne who ordered tests. By Saturday July 12 my whole foot was swollen and red and hot so I went to Christie Convenient Care where I saw Dr Johnston who told me I had a serious infection called Cellulitis. He prescribed a ten day antibiotic (Augmentin). I am convinced that the source of this infection is the pedicure at Angel Nails in the Meijer store on North Prospect. Also, they did a terrible mani/pedi on my husband. The tech cut his toe nails so short that they bled when he took his walk the morning after.
